During their long and eventful journey in search of the seven Dragon Balls, Son Goku and Bulma stumbled upon a curious rumor. It was said that in a remote, little-known town, there lived a strange fellow named Oolong, who possessed a mysterious and magical capsule with transformation powers.
Intrigued and driven by curiosity, the duo decided to investigate. The town, hidden deep in the forest and rarely visited by outsiders, exuded a sense of rural calmness. Quaint houses lined the winding streets, green trees swayed gently in the wind, and a quiet atmosphere hung in the air.
But beneath the stillness, something felt… off. If one focused long enough, there was an indescribable tension—like the town was hiding something beneath its tranquil surface.
Refusing to miss a single lead, Bulma and Goku inquired around town, asking about Oolong's whereabouts. Most townsfolk responded with vague answers and nervous glances. Some even denied knowing him. But with persistent effort and determination, they eventually tracked down a modest-looking house with peculiar symbols painted across its wooden door—likely Oolong's idea of mystique rather than anything magical.
Bulma approached and knocked confidently. After a few seconds, the door creaked open, revealing a short, chubby figure with pig-like features. His small eyes narrowed with suspicion.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Oolong asked, clearly annoyed and wary.
Bulma put on her best disarming smile. "We heard you've got a special transformation capsule," she said sweetly. "We came all this way just to check it out."
Oolong's eyes flickered. He quickly masked his surprise with a scoff. "Transformation capsule? What nonsense are you talking about? Go away!" he barked and tried to shut the door.
But Goku, quick as ever, stuck his foot in the doorway and grinned innocently. "Please, big brother pig! Let us take a look—just one look!"
Oolong paused. Goku's wide-eyed sincerity and naïveté made him think, These two are easy to fool.
With a dramatic sigh, Oolong stepped aside and grumbled, "Fine. But don't try anything funny."
From his pouch, he pulled out a small Capsule Corp. capsule. "You wanna see magic? Watch this!" he declared. He tossed it to the ground, and with a poof and flash of smoke, a gigantic, monstrous beast materialized—more illusion than threat. It roared ferociously, baring claws and fangs, charging straight at them.
Bulma screamed and stumbled backward, pale with fear. Goku, too, staggered and yelped, pretending to tremble in panic.
Oolong laughed maniacally. "Scared, you little brats? This is what happens when you mess with Oolong!"
But then—just as the creature lunged—Goku's expression changed in a heartbeat. The fear vanished from his face. With a blur of motion, he leapt high into the air, right above the monster's head. In a flash, he brought his tiny fist crashing down with force that belied his small size.
BOOM!
The illusion shattered. Dust exploded from the ground as the creature crumpled like a puppet cut from strings. Goku landed softly with a scratch to his head and a goofy smile.
"Oops… I didn't mean to hit it that hard," he chuckled.
Oolong stood frozen, jaw slack, eyes wide. He looked like he'd seen a ghost.
Bulma blinked in disbelief, then broke into laughter—half from relief, half in admiration. "Goku, you're amazing!"
Realizing he'd messed with someone he absolutely shouldn't have, Oolong dropped to his knees, groveling. "P-please don't hurt me! I-I'll give you anything you want! Take all my capsules!"
Goku and Bulma exchanged a glance and laughed. Without making a fuss, they took the capsules, thanked him (though not without teasing), and continued their epic journey—one Dragon Ball closer, and one trickster wiser.
