Welcome, traveler, to Writ Across the Void — a fantasy tale built on power progression, ancient mysteries, class systems, and magic. This is my first novel, so thank you for giving it a chance.


► A progression-heavy story with clear power systems, abilities, classes, and magic.


► Third-person narration, mostly deep POV centered on the main character, Arkiz. Sometimes, other character perspectives will be shown for plot or emotional depth.


► Slow start with slice-of-life elements, worldbuilding, and lore. Early arcs focus on training and character growth before the big plot kicks off.


► A little comedy here and there (yes, sometimes even cringe), and plenty of references — especially from Earth's culture, games, and science.


► MC does not get cheat codes that let him solo ancient monsters on Day 1. Progression is earned. Enemies won't wait for him to power up mid-battle — and neither will he.


► Violence, blood, and gore (especially later arcs).


► Morally gray themes and ethical dilemmas.


► Racism/speciesism (e.g. a race obsessed with keeping their bloodline "pure").


► Sexual content (eventually, because even fantasy builds slow-burns).


► Eldritch and dark fantasy horror themes.


► Questionable biology — like what happens when a human and a polymorphed beast decide to love each other.


• And to all the biology enthusiasts: Don't expect this world to follow Earth's biological rules. Some creatures are asexual, others reproduce via elements, and some… well, you'll see.


This is my first time writing, though I've been a reader of web novels and fiction for years. I welcome any constructive criticism — grammar corrections, plot issues, pacing advice, anything that helps me improve.


I'm still a student, so when exams hit, updates might slow down. But I'll do my best to build a chapter backlog and stay consistent.


This isn't a story about wish fulfillment. It's about growth, struggle, curiosity, and carving your own path — even when fate is stacked against you.


And yeah, I know — some of the early chapter dialogues might come off as a little cringe. That's actually on purpose. Theo's character is based on a real-life friend of mine who was… let's just say, a professional flirt and a walking cringe compilation. So if you're rolling your eyes at him — mission accomplished. :)
