Opening my eyes, I realized I had pulled Killian into the tub with me.
Hands tugged on my hair, and lips nipped my bottom lip with a hunger that bordered on similar desperation as mine.
I closed my eyes and kissed my mouth to his neck, and a loud gasp whispered near my ears.
"Sonny, I can't…"
Turning to his ear, which turned bright red like blood. "You can't what?"
Killian gasped and leaned against me, his breathing turned heavy like he was something back, like he needed to let something go.
"I can't. It goes against everything—I believe in…"
"It's wrong…"
My chest stung with his words; it made me feel like I don't matter, or someone not fighting, trying for. A bitter smile curled on the bottom of my lips, "Is that so?"
"Push me away."
But the hands on my chest don't move, they stayed in their place like it was trapped. It made me smug but bitter at the same time. All of a sudden, I didn't want his hands on me anymore.
