Vivienne's laugh came out broken, jagged, punctuated by moans.
"Jennifer? Ahh—she's just a... mmm... brat!"
Her head turned sharply toward the window, her eyes blazing with contempt as if she could see straight through the glass to her daughter hiding in the darkness.
"A useless... oh GOD... puppet who thinks... ahh... thinks she can lead this family because she shares my blood!"
THRUST.
"Really?" Alex asked, his voice rich with amusement as he enjoyed the twisted competition between mother and daughter.
He kept thrusting her slowly... deliberately slow... drawing out every word, every confession.
"Yes!" Vivienne affirmed between gasps. "She has no idea what real power feels like!"
"That's rather cruel," Alex said, and suddenly he stopped.
Completely.
His motion ceased mid-thrust, his voice carrying a mocking edge. "Even for you."
Vivienne felt the emptiness immediately as he withdrew, pulling out of her completely.
