Chapter 14 - My 14th day. I Guess You're All Dyin Then

User: Hey, do you guys believe in Zombies?

Muzan Kibutsuji: As in, the Walking Dead? Yeah, I've heard some pretty wild stories about them. Why do you ask?

User: I'm asking if you believe in them?

Muzan Kibutsuji: Oh, personally, I'm a bit skeptical. I mean, the idea of the dead rising from the grave and walking around like they're still alive is pretty ridiculous. It's the stuff of horror movies, ya know? But, I suppose anything is possible. We've seen some pretty crazy things in this world, so who am I to say that zombies couldn't exist? Although, if they did exist, I'd bet they wouldn't look anything like the zombies from the movies. They'd probably be more like mindless corpses, shambling around aimlessly.

User: Yeah, I think the blood thirst thing is kind of make-believe.

Monkey D. Luffy: Yeah, the blood thirst thing is pure Hollywood, man. I mean, zombies are already a bit far-fetched as it is, but the idea of them being blood-thirsty flesh-eaters is just too over-the-top, ya know?

User: I always thought of them as pinballs at this point. Just thoughtless and aimless, how would they want anything?

Monkey D. Luffy: That's a good question, man. If zombies are mindless and aimless, what could they possibly want? They can't think or feel, so I doubt they have desires or needs, ya know? They're just like empty vessels, moving around aimlessly with no purpose. It's like they're just empty husks, just going through the motions. It's a bit sad when you think about it.

The Sentry: Yeah, the whole concept of zombies is pretty tragic when you think about it. They were once living breathing humans, with thoughts, feelings, and dreams. And now they're reduced to these mindless, empty shells, shuffling around like they're lost souls. It's a fate worse than death, if you ask me.

Kakashi Hatake: I agree. There's something deeply disturbing about the idea of losing one's intellect and humanity, yet still existing in a zombie-like state. It's like you're trapped in your own body, powerless to do anything except mindlessly roam around. It's like the person you were is gone, replaced by this empty shell of a being. It's just...wrong, ya know? It's one of the most terrifying fates imaginable.

User: At least some here have experienced that, right Hashirama?

Hashirama Senju: Yeah, I know what it's like to feel like an empty shell of a person. It's a hell of a thing, let me tell you. You walk around, going through the motions of life, but there's nothing but a big hole inside of you. It's like you're just existing without really living, ya know? But, hey, at least I'm not a literal zombie, right? That'd be a whole new level of suckage.

User: How many of you might actually be stressed out or overwhelmed during a worldwide zombie invasion?

Goku Black: I'd be lying if I didn't say it would be pretty damn scary. I mean, it's like a freaking nightmare come to life. Everywhere you go, there's hordes of these undead bastards coming after you. They don't feel pain, they don't get tired, and they just keep coming no matter how many you take out. And, if you get bit of scratched, you're done for. No matter how tough you are, you'll turn into one of them. It's the ultimate nightmare scenario.

Muzan Kibutsuji: Plus, the whole idea of losing your humanity and becoming a mindless monster is just absolutely terrifying. Like, you're not even you anymore, you know? You become this shuffling corpse, with no memories or personality, just the primal urge to feed. And not to mention the whole apocalyptic aspect to it. Buildings falling apart, infrastructure collapsing, no government or social structure to rely on. It'd be every man for themselves. It's just a shitshow through and through.

Monkey D. Luffy: Agreed. The collapse of society and the loss of all order would be devastating. We'd have to resort to some primitive survival methods to survive. No more technology or modern comforts to rely on. No Internet, no electricity, no running water. It'd be a world where every day is a fight for survival. Not to mention, the emotional trauma and sense of loss. Seeing your loved ones turning into mindless monsters, losing friends and family...

Great White Dragon: And the guilt. The feeling of helplessness. The fear. The anger. The despair.

Hashirama Senju: Yeah, you've hit the nail on the head. The emotional toll would be just as bad, if not worse than the physical toll. Seeing people you care about getting infected and becoming something unrecognizable, watching entire cities fall into ruin, it would be enough to drive anyone insane. And the constant fear of death, not knowing if you'll be the next to turn into one of those things or not. It would be a constant mindfuck.

User: So are you saying some of you guys actually feel threatened?

Monkey D. Luffy: Yeah, man. Even someone like us would feel threatened in a zombie apocalypse. I mean, we're strong, but we're not invincible. We'd still be at risk of infection just like everyone else. And even if we survived the initial outbreak, the constant struggle to find food, water, and a safe shelter would wear on even the strongest of us. Plus, the mental strain of being hunted by hordes of mindless, flesh craving monsters would be hard to deal with, no matter how tough you are.

Hashirama Senju: Not to mention, there's no telling what other dangers would be out there. There could be raider groups, other survivors who are hostile, mutated creatures, or any number of other threats lurking in the dark. And think about the guilt and trauma of having to put down infected friends or loved ones. That's not something you just get over easily. It would stay with you forever even if you survived.

User: But I already know some of you can fight off a zombie invasion, right Sung? You do have a shadow armada at your disposal, right?

Sung Jin-Woo: Yeah, I've got the Shadow Army at my disposal, and they're a tough bunch. But even they have limits. They can fight off a lot of zombies, sure. But a whole infestation? That would be a real test. Plus, there's the question of logistics. They need to eat and rest like anyone else, so I couldn't just send them off willy-nilly and expect them to fight nonstop. They're strong, but they're not invulnerable.

User: I guess your right. But maybe you Sentry?

The Sentry: Yeah, even I'd have a tough time fighting a zombie outbreak all on my own. Sure, I'm strong, but I'm not a one man army. I need rest, food, and supplies just like anyone else, ya know? Plus, I'm not sure how effective my powers would be against zombies. I mean, they're already dead, so it's not like I can knock them out or anything. And I doubt they'd feel pain, the pressure point attacks wouldn't work either.

User: Even you Hashi?

Hashirama Senju: I'm pretty tough, but even I have limits. And a zombie apocalypse would push those limits to the max. I may be the strongest Hokage but even I can't take on hordes of undead all alone. I'm good, but I'm not a god, ya know? And zombies are tough. They just keep coming, no matter how many you kill. Plus, it's not like I have the best defenses either. One bite and I'm done for, just like anyone else. It's a terrifying thought.

User: Wow. Sasuke do you have any insights?

Sasuke Uchiha: Yeah, a zombie outbreak is no joke. It wouldn't matter how powerful you are, you'd still be at risk. And even if you could take out a lot of zombies, you'd still be left with the same problems as everyone else; a decaying infrastructure, no food or water, no power or communication. It'd be held on earth, basically. I've fought a lot of strong opponents before, but zombies are a different beast entirely. They don't feel fear, pain, or exhaustion. They just keep coming, over and over again.

User: WARrior, do you stand by that?

WARrior: Absolutely. I don't care how powerful someone is, a zombie apocalypse is a whole different beast. You could be the strongest guy in the room, but it doesnt matter when you're outnumbered a million to one. I'd put up one hell of a fight, sure. But even I have my limits. And even if I could take out thousands of zombies, there'd always be more on the way. The constant onslaught would wear me down eventually. It's just a matter of time before I make a mistake or run out of steam.

User: You all sound like you have given up. But I know one guy who has over a thousand tricks and there has to be one suited to fighting off zombies or armies even if it would take time. Right Kakashi?

Kakashi Hatake: Yeah, I'm pretty resourceful, and I do have a lot of tricks up my sleeve. But even I'd have a hard time taking on a zombie apocalypse on my own. It's not that I've given up, it's just being realistic about the situation. I mean, sure, I could probably take out a lot of zombies. But eventually, I'd get tired and make a mistake. And when you're facing an endless horde of undead, one mistake is all it takes.

User: Wow, I guess the ultimate apocalypse is a Zombie Apocalypse then.

Hashirama Senju: Yeah, you could say that. Zombies are just the perfect enemy, ya know? They're endless, they dont feel pain, and they can infect anyone they touch. No matter how strong or skilled you are, you're still at risk of getting infected. Plus, a zombie apocalypse would change everything. It'd be the end of society as we know it. No more cities, no more governments, just chaos and desperation. It's a pretty bleak picture, that's for sure.

Great White Dragon: I mean, it wouldn't be the first apocalypse on earth. There's a lot of apocalypses that happen, it's just that usually the good guys win before the destruction is total. But, I think that zombies would be really dangerous. If they can survive any situation and never die, then they can outlast anything. It'd definitely cause problems, the only way to fight them would be to evacuate people, keep the infected areas quarantined. But, if the infection spread to other countries and continents, then we'd be doomed.

User: But some of you obviously have cells that can fight off viral infections like zombie apocalypses, right?

Hashirama Senju: Yeah, some of us have pretty good immune systems. But even the best immune system can't fight off a zombie virus forever. All it takes is one missed bite or scratch, and you're done. And when you're fighting against hordes of mindless zombies, it's pretty damn hard to avoid getting scratched.

User: Even your vivacious cells Demon King?

Muzan Kibutsuji: Yeah, even my body's cells can fight off infections, but they're not invincible. And a zombie virus is a whole different ball game. It's not just another virus. It's a full blown infection that turns people into monsters. Even if I could fight it off at first, the virus would keep adapting and evolving. Eventually, it would find a weakness and take control. I guess you could call a zombie virus the ultimate form of a viral infection. It's the perfect example of evolution at work.

User: So, with that in mind, do you remember "Galileo" that we were talking about last time?

Muzan Kibutsuji: Yeah, I remember Galileo. Why do you ask?

User: Do you think he can be threatened by it?

Muzan Kibutsuji: Probably not, to be honest. I mean, the guy can adapt to pretty much anything, right? So it stands to reason that he'd be able to adapt to a zombie virus. I'd imagine he'd probably just evolve a resistance or an immunity to it, and then he'd be able to walk around unaffected.

User: So do you think he is the one Being that is actually a cure for any zombie apocalypse? Or any apocalypse at all?

Muzan Kibutsuji: It's possible, I suppose. I mean, if anyone could survive and overcome an apocalypse, it would be Galileo. He's basically a walking Swiss Army knife, right? He can adapt to anything, so he could probably survive anything. So, in a way, yeah, I guess you could say he's a sort of "cure" for any apocalypse. He'll be the only one left standing, ready to pick up the pieces.
