The room was silent except for Lydia tapping her fingers on the window. She was staring out at the dark street, completely stressed. That clock was ticking way too loud.

Lydia took a deep breath. She ditched the window-gazing and went to the table, which was piled high with files and photos – all the clues she and Kai had gathered. She ran a system scan, hoping to spot something she'd missed.

Found faint fingerprints on the folder, not matching any known Wolff family members.
Found tiny scratches on the back of the photo – totally messed with.
Lydia picked up the photo. She ran her finger over the scratches… and it hit her. Coordinates! She grabbed her phone, plugged them into Maps, and… bam. Some abandoned warehouse.
"Seriously?" Lydia muttered. This was where the Wolffs were hiding the loot, and someone had totally altered the coordinates to lead them and Kai astray.
Suddenly, the door burst open. Kai walked in, looking beat, but his eyes were still sharp.
"Anything?" he asked, checking out the files and photos.
Lydia met his gaze. "We got totally played, Kai. The coordinates are fake. The treasure's not there."
Kai's eyebrows shot up. He was totally shocked. "How do you know?"
"The system picked up the scratches on the back of the photo," Lydia explained, handing it to him. "Someone tampered with the coordinates."
Kai examined the photo closely. "Who did this?"
"I don't know yet," Lydia said, already suspicious. "But we need to be careful. We've got a mole."
Kai's eyes got cold. "You're saying someone's betraying us?"
"Yep," Lydia nodded. "And this person knows everything we're doing."
Kai was quiet for a minute, then looked up, determined. "Then we need to find this person and stop them from ruining everything."
Lydia nodded, already planning her next move. She opened the system interface and selected a new skill.
