Ryujin's POV
Our team was the last to face off against Bakugo's. I had pulled Midoriya aside from the group so we could sit and talk alone. I could tell he was incredibly anxious, so I tried to comfort him by saying—
Ryujin: "We're definitely gonna die, Midoriya."
Midoriya froze completely the moment I said that.
I chuckled, clearly enjoying his reaction.
Ryujin: "Alright, alright. I've got a way to help you calm down."
Izuku: "A way? What is it, Kazuma-kun?"
Ryujin: "Just imagine Uraraka... wearing a bunny suit and walking toward you."
Midoriya's face turned as red as a tomato. But before I could say anything else—Whack! A sharp smack landed on my head.
Ryujin: "Ow—!?"
I knew exactly who it was.
Momo: "I thought you were going to strategize, so I came to cheer you on... but clearly, that was unnecessary."
Momo's sweet voice had a sharp edge to it, and her face was full of disapproval. Her clenched fists and pouty expression… honestly, it was kinda cute.
I glanced over at our classmates nearby: Momo, Jiro, Tokoyami, Mineta, Shoji, Sero, and also Midoriya's group—Uraraka and Iida.
Iida: "Kazuma-kun! Speaking about Bakugo that way is entirely inappropriate, don't you know that!?" he said while dramatically chopping the air with his hands.
Ochako: "Deku, are you okay?"
Uraraka leaned in close with a worried look. Midoriya's face turned even redder.
Watching this, I tried to hold back my laughter—
...only to get my ear pinched by Momo again.
Ow… Mochan, don't bully me like that.
Ryujin: "Mochan, don't be mean~ I'm just a weak little man~"
I whined like a puppy begging for affection. Everyone around us looked utterly exasperated and shook their heads.
I gave a cheeky grin—but then I caught a glance at Momo's outfit again.
...Seriously, why does it have to be so revealing?
I didn't notice it the first time, but now that I got a full view…
Ryujin: "Nice at first... painful later…"
I mumbled to myself.
Momo: "Hmm? Ryō, what was that? I didn't quite catch it."
She looked at me curiously.
Ryujin: "Ah—! N-Nothing at all!"
I quickly turned my face away, heart pounding.
Damn it… it's not just Momo. The other girls are pretty intense, too...
Mina… dressed like a club dancer.Tsuyu… very froggy, yet… oddly sexy.Toru… uhh, invisible? Can't see anything.Uraraka… yeah, I'll leave her to Midoriya.
Jiro… the moment I looked at her, she blushed and turned away. It was honestly adorable—totally her vibe.
...And yes, I got my ear pinched again for staring at the other girls too long.
Ow… darling, please, show mercy…
Even though the earlier matches flew by without too much drama, everyone in the class knew—
This last match was different.
This one wasn't going to end peacefully.
It was a clash of titans—Destruction, defense, and a guy who had taken down tons of villains—
Thrown into the same match.
And finally, the showdown everyone had been waiting for:
Team A – Heroes: Midoriya & KazumaVSTeam D – Villains: Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima
Five minutes before the match, outside the building
Ryujin: "Midoriya!!"
I called out to him as soon as I saw we had time to prep.
Izuku: "Hm? What's up, Kazuma-kun?"
He looked confused as he walked over. I leaned in and whispered the plan so no one else could hear.
Ryujin: "If we run into Bakugo, leave him to me. You head straight for the objective. Don't waste time looking back."
I said it firmly, my tone serious.
Before he could respond, I added—
Ryujin: "Also—about your Quirk… try using just 5%."
Midoriya: "Huh?"
He frowned instantly, confused.
I raised my hand as if I were holding something.
Ryujin: "Think of it this way…Your One For All is like water in a cup. The cup is you.If you pour too much, it spills and cracks—But 5%? That's just right. No spilling. No breaking."
Midoriya fell silent. Then, slowly, his eyes changed.
Izuku: "I get it now…"
He whispered, taking a deep breath.
Izuku: "One For All… Full Cowl!!"
Electric energy sparked around him as green lightning wrapped his body.
From a distance, All Might watched with a proud and gentle smile.
All Might (thinking):Thank you… young Kazuma.
Present — Inside the Test Building
As soon as the test started, the two of us dashed straight into the building.
Not long after, just as I had predicted—
Boom!!An explosion shook the air, concrete debris flying off the side wall.
We both stopped dead in our tracks. When the dust settled, two shadows appeared.
Bakugo stood ready, poised to strike.Kirishima was beside him, flashing a confident grin.
I held Midoriya back with one hand and said sharply,Ryujin: "Go!!"
Without hesitation, he dashed forward, his body glowing with Full Cowl energy.Just a split second before Bakugo lunged, I raised my gun and fired—Bang! Bang!
The bullets grazed his shoulder, barely touching him, but enough to ignite his fuse.
Bakugo snarled, "You!! Trash!!"
I grinned wide, taunting."Explosion Hedgehog, huh? Just me alone can handle both of you."
Kirishima cracked his knuckles, the sound sharp like breaking bones.
Kirishima: "Hmph, don't underestimate us."
Bakugo narrowed his eyes; I could see the fire ready to blow any second.
I said nothing, raising my gun again while my fingers traced the knife strapped to my side, slowly crouching.
My fighting stance wasn't elegant or stylish—It was like a mad dog ready to bite and never let go.Using every dirty trick to kill, no rules, no morals.
Kirishima moved first.Bakugo raised his hand, preparing to blast me with a palm explosion.
I smirked."Come on… you two demolition trash."
30 Minutes Before the Test — Changing Room
Kazuma stood alone, expressionless, eyes fixed on the items before him.He picked up the first piece—Zinda Military Knee Guards, carbon fiber and metal composite.
+2 Durability+1 SpeedPrice: 2,500 coins
He expertly strapped them on, then grabbed the next piece—Zinda Military Elbow Guards, same stats, fitting perfectly.

"Even if this is a simulation, I don't want my arm broken for real…"Kazuma muttered with a sly grin.
Finally, he took out the highlight—Zinda Special Forces Ballistic Mask, a high-grade bulletproof face shield with matte plastic outer shell and dark reflective lenses.
+5 Durability+3 StrengthPrice: 5,000 coins
He put the mask on, and his HUD beeped in his ear.

Kazuma chuckled quietly to himself.
Total Coins: 10,000
He stood up, shook his arm once, the armor scraping softly against muscle.Every piece solid, ready for battle.
Back to Present —
Bang! Bang! Bang!
I sprayed bullets without hesitation, the air filled with fluttering sparks like butterflies.
Bakugo dodged swiftly.Kirishima wasn't any less—using his Quirk, he coated himself in armor and charged forward, taking bullets without a scratch.
"Die!!" Bakugo roared, igniting a full-power palm explosion.
Boom!!
The blast thundered through the air. I turned my back and raised my metal coffin shield to absorb the impact. The metal rattled, sending a shockwave through my bones.
Bang! I fired back immediately, aiming to strike Bakugo's head with my gun—but before I could reach him, Kirishima slammed into me like a rock, coated in tough red armor.
"Damn…" I gritted my teeth, frustration boiling.
Kirishima's fist came crashing down on my face, but I blocked with both guns.
Clang!! The sound of metal hitting rock echoed sharply.
Before I could recover, Bakugo exploded on me from the side—Boom! Boom! Boom!
I dodged, then sprinted circles around the room with speed, before charging straight toward the objective.
Bakugo: "Shit! This bastard's fast as hell!"
Bang!!!
Bakugo blasted the ground ahead with both hands, dust and smoke billowing like a gray curtain, blocking all sight.
"Damn…" I couldn't see anything.
A flash of sparks—just to the side!!
Before I could move—
Boom!!!
A side explosion slammed into me like a hail of bullets. I was thrown back, crashing into a metal box behind me.
I tried to stand, but—
Kirishima's fist hit my torso full force.
Thud!!
"Ugh—!!"The blow sent me flying into the wall again.I bit my teeth hard—the muscles spasmed from the impact.
Ryujin:Damn it… that fucking hurts.
Bakugo's mocking laugh echoed from afar.
Bakugo: "Thought you'd make my teeth fall out?"Bakugo: "You're dead, you damn water gun!"
I pushed myself up, pulled my mask slightly off, teeth clenched tight. My fists clenched so hard the veins bulged on my arms.
"…Fine, FucK it…" I muttered low.Ryujin: "You want it? I'll give you what you want."
Bones cracked "crack" as I twisted my neck left.My heart pounded like it was about to explode. Both hands twitched with a surge of raw emotion rising from deep inside.
This is it… the real fight is just beginning.
Kirishima didn't say a word, only offered a dry, uneasy smile. He didn't understand why he had to face something like this…But for the sake of the team—He had to win.
Ryujin raised his gun and pulled the trigger relentlessly.Bullets flew toward his two targets. But they dodged and defended just as well as before.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
No hesitation—Ryujin charged in again.Kirishima launched a straight, unflinching punch. But Ryujin twisted effortlessly aside, then smashed the gun's handle straight into Kirishima's face.
Crack!!
Kirishima staggered, stepping half a pace back. Before he could regain his footing, Ryujin's steel knee rammed into his chest with brutal force.
A strangled grunt escaped Kirishima's throat—"Ugh!"
Then, like a frenzy, Ryujin began slamming the gun down on Kirishima's head.Wham! Wham! Wham!
Just then, Ryujin turned to see Bakugo rushing in, palm glowing with explosive light.
But Ryujin didn't dodge. He charged forward instead, slamming the gun's handle into Bakugo's head.
Crack!!
But Bakugo's Quirk hit full-force—The explosion struck Ryujin's head point blank.
BOOM!!
Blood began to seep from his temple. The skin had split, but not deep.Bakugo went wild, throwing rapid punches one after another.
But Ryujin only grinned—cold, cruel—Then headbutted Bakugo square in the face, the sound of bone cracking echoing.
Smack!!
The impact made both of them stumble a step back.
Ryujin saw Kirishima charging in again. He barely dodged the fist by a hair. But before he could counter—
BOOM!!
Bakugo detonated a blast into Ryujin's leg.The force dropped him instantly to the floor.
Before he could move again—Kirishima locked his arms around Ryujin's neck from behind.
Ryujin struggled hard, body jerking wildly. But that wasn't the end.
He saw a spark of light in front of him.Bakugo's hand was right in front of his face.
"Land Mine Blast!!!"
BOOOOOMMMMM!!!
A massive explosion shook the building. The ground shattered.Ryujin's body flew through a wall. His mask shattered to pieces.Blood streamed not just from his head—but drenched his entire body.
He looked down at himself—His shirt was torn open, chest exposed.
But what he saw was worse—
Those two… were barely scratched.
Silence.
Then—
A laugh.A chilling, mad laugh.
"Ha… Hahaha! HAAHAHAHA!!"It echoed across the room, wild and unstable—until it stopped.
Ryujin slowly pointed a finger at Bakugo. His voice cold as death:
"…Now it's my turn, you little shit."
"You're dead."
His tone was no longer human.
He raised his face—His once-bright eyes were now black voids glowing deep red, born from a twisted, broken psyche.
[Fell Bullet]
Suddenly—
Crack!Reality seemed to tear open.
The atmosphere shifted—No longer a training room.
A battlefield.
A warped nightmare of death and silence. The ground cracked with black veins. The lights went out.The room turned into a crimson-gray hellscape.
Ryujin's outfit transformed. His clothes shredded away, forming a cloak of dark threads, veins of glowing blood flowing through.
In his hand, a long rifle twisted like a living thing appeared.
[Fell Bullet]
Ryujin aimed the gun at Kirishima and Bakugo without hesitation.
In that moment—Silence.
Kirishima instinctively stepped back.Sweat beading on his forehead.
"What… the hell is that?" Bakugo growled, teeth clenched.
Bang!
The first shot rang out.
The bullet flew straight at Bakugo—Time seemed to slow.
It hit his leg, direct and precise.
"Don't blink, Bakugo…""This one's for you."
Ryujin's voice—Like a reaper whispering from the abyss.
More black bullets launched, one after another. They didn't fly straight—They curved, slithered like sentient creatures.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Blood burst from Kirishima's body.A bullet in the leg—he dropped. One in the shoulder—his arm went limp.Another shattered his knee—he collapsed.
"Ugh… it hurts… damn it…"Kirishima gritted his teeth, but his vision blurred.
He tried to stand—But his body wouldn't respond.Even his Quirk—Hardening—Couldn't stop these bullets.
Only Bakugo remained.
He didn't speak. He clenched his jaw until blood leaked from the corners of his mouth. His eyes burned with fury… and fear.
Ryujin didn't let the moment pass.
He charged like a demon.
CRACK!!
The steel gun handle smashed into Bakugo's face.
A sharp CRUNCH echoed—One of Bakugo's front teeth flew out.Blood sprayed from his mouth like a burst pipe.
"Hah… hah…"Bakugo staggered, but didn't fall. His stubbornness still burning, even as his face was swollen beyond recognition.
After a flurry of brutal strikes from Ryujin—Bakugo finally dropped.
Flat on the ground.
The three of them—Ryujin, Bakugo, Kirishima—No longer resembled students.
When Ryujin returned to his normal state,His clothes were nearly all torn,His body drenched in blood—his own, and theirs.
The once playful, lazy, and teasing expression on his face was gone.
Now—Only emptiness.Only pain.
He panted, sweat mixed with blood running down his face.
Ryujin: "It's not over…"
He dragged himself up from the vision of war, limping toward the corridor.
He had someone to save.
Izuku Midoriya.
Monitoring Room
"Why didn't Kazuma let Midoriya help, kero?"Tsuyu's voice piped up as she touched a finger to her lips, her eyes narrowed with confusion.
"I guess... he figured he could handle it on his own. So he let Midoriya go."Ojiro replied, calm but clearly worried.
"But that's clearly a huge disadvantage!"Iida clenched his fists tightly, his hands shaking with frustration."Kirishima's got defense, and Bakugo's pure offense! Kazuma's taking pressure from both sides! That's just too much..."
Momo didn't say a word. She simply stared at the screen, lips pressed tightly together.Tears welled in her eyes, and her hand gripped the edge of her shirt in anguish.
"It's okay, Momo... He's not someone who'd go down so easily."Jirou whispered gently, standing by her side, equally concerned.
Mina also watched Ryujin with growing unease.
"Go, Kazuma! Show them what you're made of!!"Toruu cheered, arms raised with enthusiasm, trying to boost the mood.
But then…
"Land Mine Blast!!!"
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
The deafening explosion from the live feed crashed into the control room's speakers.Everyone jolted.Momo shot up instantly, tears now streaming freely.
"No!! Stop!! He's already hurt! Don't hurt him anymore!!"She rushed toward the exit, but All Might stood in her way.
He was ready to end the exercise.…But just before he could step out—
Kazuma's laughter echoed from the speakers.
It was sharp.Unhinged.Chilling.Bloodthirsty.
A smile that held not a single trace of mercy.
Then…The screen distorted.The surroundings warped.
The colors of the world shifted unnaturally. And in a blink of light—A strange, monstrous firearm was now in Ryujin's hand.
Gunshots rang out.
Blood burst from both Kirishima and Bakugo.Everyone in the room froze.
This wasn't just a fight anymore…
It was controlled slaughter—all within the boundary of a "training test."
"Don't ever let Kazuma lose control…"
That was the only thought running through everyone's minds.
The last image on the monitor:Kirishima collapsed to the ground.Bakugo slammed in the face with the gun's butt—blood gushing, teeth flying.
All Might didn't say anything. He simply nodded to the field robots, instructing them to extract Bakugo and Kirishima immediately.
He chose not to stop it.
"Let it continue."
No one in the room could say a word. They could only sit in silence…Watching one bloodied, broken, half-crazed boyhead toward his next target.
Midoriya's Perspective
After I left the others, I ran into Todoroki. We immediately began our duel.
I was trying to dodge his ice when—
BOOOOOOM!!!
A huge explosion erupted behind me.I flinched. It had to be Kacchan…
I silently prayed that Kazuma was alright. But then—
A massive sheet of ice flew at me from Todoroki.
It was too fast and too solid to dodge in time.My entire body was frozen in place—only my head was left free.
"Sorry, Midoriya."Todoroki's voice came from beside me, his hand reaching toward my head.
But in that moment—
Bang!
A glowing butterfly-like bullet shot into Todoroki's hand!
I turned toward the sound—and froze in shock.
Midoriya: Kazuma-kun!!
He looked terrible.Barely able to stand, his body was covered in blood and wounds. He drank from two strange vials—I had no idea what they were, but they only helped a little.
Still, Kazuma raised his gun again.
This time—he aimed it at the ice binding me.
Ryujin: "Midoriya... The rest is up to you."
As he collapsed to the ground, exhausted,Something deep inside me ignited. There was no time left to hesitate!
I launched forward at top speed, using 100% of my power!
"SMASH!!!"
I knew my arm might break. But that didn't matter anymore.
Todoroki sent another wave of ice,but I wasn't aiming at him—I was aiming at the ceiling, which was rigged with explosives!
KA-BOOM!!!
The ceiling crumbled, sending debris and bombs crashing down on Todoroki.
He leapt back to avoid being crushed—But in that split second—
I dashed in!
I used every ounce of strength in my legs—100%—to reach the falling bomb.
Todoroki tried to stop me with another blast of ice,but nothing could stop me now.
My speed was beyond prediction.I soared straight toward the falling bomb—
and slammed my head into it.
Everything went silent.
TEAM HEROES WIN!!!!
All Might's voice echoed through the intercom.
I collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.And before I could even process it…
I passed out from pushing One For All to the limit.
Monitor Room
Inside the monitor room, everyone was still reeling from the intense battle that had just taken place. They were shocked by how violent it had been—especially the fact that Ryojin had seemed willing to put his own life on the line just to win the test.
Although the final result was a victory for the Hero Team, the level of destruction raised serious concerns. Some even began to question whether the intensity of this test had gone too far.
Everyone rushed to Kazuma, who had collapsed on the ground. His condition was dire, and no one was sure if they could save him in time.
Momo, Jiro, Toru, Mina, Tsuyu, Tokoyami, Mineta, Shoji, Sato, and Koda all sprinted toward him without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Uraraka and Iida hurried to check on Midoriya.
Kirishima and Bakugo—both of whom were clearly just as injured—had thankfully been taken away earlier by the medical support bots.Had they been left untreated, the damage could've been much worse.
Sero and Kaminari had gone with them, following closely behind to make sure they were okay.
Only All Might and Aoyama remained in front of the monitors, observing silently.
All Might nodded slightly, watching the students scramble to help one another.
Then, out of the blue, Aoyama asked the one question that made All Might's head pound.
Aoyama:"Did I... sparkle enough?"
All Might winced, visibly strained. He lowered his head and replied with a faint tremble in his voice:
All Might:"Aoyama, my boy… now's really not the time to ask that…"
He was utterly exhausted from the chaos that had unfolded, and he tried his best not to dwell on Aoyama's bizarre question.Instead, he turned back to the monitors, eyes fixed on the students helping one another.
In his heart, he knew...Right now, nothing mattered more than saving them.
