It was determined that he fled into the desolate mountain.
Using the Tiger Python Order, they mobilized constables from surrounding towns and the county government office, then recruited Li Kuo, Chang Zixqiang, and Yao Fan, three Gold Appraisal Guards, to assist and began their search in the mountains.
In a desolate mountain temple, they found traces of the ruthless bandit. Li Kuo, Chang Zixqiang, and Yao Fan formed the Drum Beating God-Slaying Formation to assist and harass the bandit from the side. John Li confronted him head-on.
The ruthless bandit was cruel, using strange techniques. He extracted the intestines from live humans and woven them into long whips. With a flick, they wrapped around and entangled, incredibly bizarre and hard to deal with. Moreover, his martial arts were peculiar. After bathing the intestines in a medicated bath, they became even more tenacious, capable of digesting flesh and corroding foes.
