This mud sparrow is dark yellow in color and inconspicuous, but its wings are strong and powerful, capable of flying extremely far. On that day, Princess An Yang summoned him and gifted him this creature. Li Xian kept it in the courtyard and fed it bird feed for the first few days. Later, he found that the mud sparrow had a rough and resilient nature, not liking fine bird feed, but instead preferring to eat insects in the mud, and it could search for food on its own. Li Xian then released it freely, sometimes not seeing it for days, and other times it would lightly land on a branch and chirp, covered in mud and dirt, thus getting the name Mud Sparrow.
Li Xian frowned, grabbed the mud sparrow, and took off the bamboo tube. The mud sparrow chirped softly twice, then flapped its wings and flew away.
