Wei Qing felt a peculiar sensation when she saw Lin Wen call the aunt over.
"Miss Wei Qing, are you alright?"
The aunt looked at Wei Qing.
Wei Qing shook her head: "It's nothing, just twisted it accidentally."
"Let me help you down."
Wei Qing got off the car with the aunt's assistance.
Lin Wen watched from the side, without stepping in.
Only after the aunt helped Wei Qing inside did Lin Wen drive away.
Wei Qing felt a bit lost when she heard the car engines revving outside.
Ning Yayan came downstairs and saw the aunt supporting Wei Qing, perplexed: "What happened?"
Wei Qing replied: "I accidentally twisted my ankle."
"Weren't you out with Wei Lai? Why did you come back alone?" Ning Yayan asked curiously.
They had planned to go watch the lanterns, but it was only Wei Qing now.
Wei Qing remembered that they had agreed to release lanterns by the river at ten, but she forgot to inform them.
