Chapter 200 - Chapter 202: The Traitors

This was the first time 32 had fully unleashed the capabilities of his body. He seemed to transform into a humanoid tank; wherever he passed, dense blaster fire and consecutive explosions erupted continuously.

With the lightsaber in his hand and the aid of his optical sensors, he precisely captured the trajectory of every blaster bolt, deflecting them all with pinpoint accuracy.

Then, like a tiger among sheep, 32 rapidly tore through the enemy's blockade line, dove headfirst into an alley, and vanished.

On a nearby roof, Valera snapped a man's neck with one hand, looked down at the fleeing 32 with a smile, and then turned her head.

She saw three figures in black armor walking slowly down the end of the main road.

"Joan... the situation you were worried about has arrived."

. . .

The Grand Inquisitor frowned in dissatisfaction as he looked at the chaotic scene ahead.

Following beside him were the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister.

These two had just finished a mission and had come with him to find this so-called key to immortality.

Heh, ridiculous.

If such a thing really existed, it wouldn't be just the three of them here.

Every powerful figure in the galaxy would flock here like moths to a flame, including that man—the pinnacle of power in the galaxy, the Sith Emperor.

Every Sith had one or several powerful obsessions. Just like his immediate superior, Darth Vader, whose pursuit was immense power.

And the Emperor's obsession was precisely the mastery of life and death.

In the years since the Empire's establishment, as the Sith's most loyal dogs, the Inquisitors had done too many things for these two Sith Lords, always catching glimpses of their true natures.

Just like the matter currently giving him a headache: the experimental subject from over a decade ago, Amir... who had even crossed blades with him.

But that wasn't important to him right now.

As the Grand Inquisitor, the only thing he had to do was execute orders loyally.

By doing so, he could obtain many things he desired—unrestricted access to archives, powerful authority, endless resources—as long as he endured that fear...

"They're coming, they're coming!" In the center of the main road, a man shouted hurriedly to a young man beside him.

The young man looked to the end of the road and immediately raised his hand, stopping his restless associates who still wanted to chase 32.

He stepped forward, standing sideways on the path of the Grand Inquisitor's advance, and forced a smile.

"My Lords, our Boss is waiting for you inside the camp. I will lead the way!"

The Grand Inquisitor glanced at him with disdain and continued walking forward.

Seeing this, the man quickly jogged a few steps, hunching his body as he walked slightly ahead and to the side of the three Inquisitors.

. . .

Amir sneaked up behind a lookout on a roof and knocked him out with a chop to the neck.

He hadn't been idle during this time.

After sending out the two droids and confirming the surroundings were safe, Amir had climbed to the roof.

The motley nature of Dead Hand gave him an idea.

Amir looked carefully around from the roof and soon spotted his target.

It was a humanoid wearing a helmet—species indistinguishable—dressed in a trench coat with two blaster pistols at his waist.

Amir approached him rapidly, circling quietly behind him, and knocked him unconscious.

When he wasn't rushing, Amir could approach anyone silently. With the aid of the Force, it was as if he disappeared.

Just like when he first met Darth Sidious; in the darkness, the Sith Lord's presence was completely undetectable.

Amir could now achieve something similar.

The reason he targeted this person was simply because he liked the helmet.

The face under the helmet could be anyone's; this would allow him to disguise himself and infiltrate Dead Hand.

Taking off the helmet, Amir saw a face that was unsightly, to put it mildly. This is a good person; knowing he looks scary, he specifically wore a helmet to avoid frightening others.

Wiping it down, Amir put the helmet on his own head.

The red visor obscured Amir's vision, making him a bit unaccustomed to it. The HUD displayed various information like time and environmental data, and even had a zoom function.

Didn't realize this guy was so sophisticated.

Stripping off the man's trench coat to replace his own robe, Amir jumped down from the roof.

At that moment, a command suddenly sounded in the helmet's comms.

"Contract the perimeter! The people the Boss was waiting for have arrived. Don't let anyone into the camp!"

Hearing this command, Amir walked logically toward the camp.

A Twi'lek mercenary coming down from another side ignored Amir, confirming his idea was feasible.

Walking beside the Twi'lek, Amir reached the main road and saw many mercenaries gathering there.

"Sirdan? You're here." A man walked over and greeted Amir.

Amir turned directly, extended his right hand, and waved it in front of the man's eyes.

"Mm..." The man's gaze became unfocused for a moment, then he continued, "Lindsey wants us by his side."

Rubbing his head in confusion, the man leaned in and gave Amir a knowing look. "Didn't forget the arrangement, right? After this job..." He raised his eyebrows suggestively.

Amir didn't know what to say, so he nodded steadily.

"Follow me." The man walked in front, leading the way.

Amir followed closely.

Just now, Amir had used a mind trick to make this person believe he was indeed the man he thought he was, causing him to ignore any details that didn't match.

But now it was Amir's turn to be confused.

Who is Lindsey? "After this job"? And what the hell was that eyebrow raise about?

He didn't know what this person was thinking, but with him leading the way, Amir didn't have to be constantly vigilant. This man seemed very familiar with the Dead Hand members near the camp, greeting people all the way inside.

In contrast, the person Amir was impersonating seemed to be unpopular; no one paid any attention to him.

However, this was a good thing for Amir.

After walking a distance, the man in front whispered to Amir, "Lindsey recruited you because he recognized your strength. Remember your task."

After speaking, the man raised his eyebrows again and walked toward a Rodian.

Amir had seen this Rodian before; the spider droid was following right behind him.

Amir looked up and saw BD-4 peeking out from a nearby roof.

BD-4 tilted his head to look at Amir, seeming to recognize him. The little droid was still earnestly executing his mission.

This Rodian was the one Amir had seen when he was hiding earlier.

He had said he wanted to return to see the Boss, so Amir had sent the two droids to monitor him.

The man said directly, "Boss, Sirdan is here. How is it over there?"

So this Rodian was Lindsey.

"Nuludin is ready. The Imperials are almost here. Sigh, Dead Hand will definitely be destroyed in his hands. No matter what, he shouldn't have invited the Empire. Even giving the item to the Hutts would have been better," Lindsey said with resentment.

Amir scanned the surroundings. The people around them had no reaction to Lindsey's words. The man who brought him here was even nodding in empathetic agreement.

It seems this place is full of traitors.

And Amir had just become one of them.
