Chapter 191 - Chapter 193: The Slums of Nar Shaddaa

The process was relatively effortless. Maul's spirit, like a small fish finding a stream, couldn't wait to dive in.

After Maul entered, Amir carefully sensed the surrounding Force. Everything was normal; there were no remnant spirit fragments nearby. Maul had completely disappeared.

In his hand, the exquisite tetrahedral box seemed to have become Maul's new home.

"Maul should be inside this now." Amir stood up and offered the Sith Holocron to Qi'ra.

Hearing Amir's words and looking at the tetrahedron in front of her, Qi'ra shuddered violently. Her eyes filled with uncontrollable panic, and beads of cold sweat broke out on her forehead, as if she were looking at something incredibly terrifying.

Amir took the Holocron back.

He didn't know what Qi'ra had endured by Maul's side. From a street rat on Corellia to the voice of Crimson Dawn, the seemingly glamorous Qi'ra still had such a severe stress reaction when facing a man who was already dead.

Han Solo hugged the trembling Qi'ra from the side, comforting her softly.

"Regardless, Maul is finished. I'll hold onto this Holocron for now. regarding Crimson Dawn, I will contact you later to discuss cooperation," Amir said, then paid no more attention to the couple.

Maul's little home had been destroyed beyond recognition, and there didn't seem to be anything useful left.

Amir picked up the Darksaber and the Sith Holocron and walked out.

At this moment, Milisen's voice came through his earpiece.

Because 32 refused to speak, Milisen had snatched the communicator. She couldn't wait to share her battle experience with Amir. This was her first time acting as first mate and her first time controlling the ship's weapons. Although she had fired under 32's instructions, the glorious battle results had something to do with her.

"Amir! We blew up six ships! I pulled the trigger!"

"Really?" Amir was somewhat surprised. "I didn't realize you had such potential as a pilot."

"Hehehe!" Milisen laughed happily.

32 panicked again on the side. How long can I keep my job as first mate... I'll just have to survive one day at a time.

"I'm walking out now. Come pick me up," Amir said.

32's calm voice came through: "I am flying to the previous landing zone. Also, the Mandalorians have left."

"Mm, I know."

The Darksaber in his hand was another mess; Amir didn't know how to deal with it yet.

"Also, Kahraman sent a message," 32 suddenly added.

"Did he get news about his old classmate?" Amir asked.

"Probably. I haven't looked at it yet." 32 had been busy fighting and hadn't had time to check the message.

Finally walking out of the rugged terrain, Amir looked up. Crimson Dawn's mobile base was hovering in front of him, looming in the red mist. Beside it sat the freshly landed Traveler.

The ramp was already down. Amir walked in, welcomed by BD-4.

First, he went to the fridge to get a drink. Amir walked to the main hold, sat on the sofa, and pressed the button on the table.

At this moment, 32 and Milisen walked out of the cockpit.

Kahraman's image appeared in the holographic projection. He said, "Joan Hurtado has replied to me. I'm going ahead. I've sent the coordinates to you. Contact me when you arrive."

The communication closed. Amir sighed. "Looks like we have to keep moving."

Finding Joan was crucial; the future development of the exoskeleton depended on her research data.

Locating the position on the star map, Amir set the course.

"Is this a lightsaber, Amir?" Milisen discovered the Darksaber Amir had placed on the table.

"Yes. A Mandalorian once joined the Jedi Order. This is the lightsaber he created. It's called the Darksaber," Amir explained.

Milisen picked up the Darksaber curiously. The curved hilt, the heavy feel... she observed it for a few moments before she couldn't resist activating it.

Hiss—

A black blade suddenly shot out. Milisen's eyes widened. "There are black blades?"

"There are indeed, though I don't know the principle behind it." Amir was also curious about this.

The Darksaber was truly a magical weapon. Forged by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian to be inducted into the Jedi Order, the black blade occasionally glowed with white light. The blade itself had a distinct curve and made a unique sound when swung.

Milisen swung the Darksaber gently, but it dipped, nearly slicing the floor.

"So heavy!" Milisen exclaimed in surprise.

Amir took the Darksaber from Milisen's hand and tried swinging it himself. Sure enough, he felt that as he swung the sword, it felt like a wild horse that couldn't be tethered—there was an uncontrolled force rushing forward.

"What a mysterious weapon. I really want to take it apart and look inside..." Amir thought silently.

After swinging it a few more times, Amir put the Darksaber away and looked at the Sith Holocron on the table. He already held one Jedi and one Sith Holocron—one given to him by Obi-Wan, and the other obtained on Hoth.

The two Holocrons were placed separately in cabinets on either side of his workshop.

This new Holocron would require a new display cabinet.

He hoped Maul wouldn't be too angry when he woke up.

After packing everything up, Amir sat in the pilot's seat.

For some reason, seeing that Amir wanted to depart, 32 walked over quickly and plonked his bottom into the co-pilot's seat.

Not understanding the droid's weird behavior, Amir activated the thrusters and steered the ship away from Dathomir.

. . .

Nar Shaddaa

A hyper-urbanized moon within Hutt Space. Its surface was neon-lit, while its underground was dirty and chaotic—like a shrunken, lawless version of Coruscant.

This was the information Amir gathered from the archives.

Joan was hiding on this moon. Although it was disorderly, it was rich in resources. With no Imperial interference and under the "care" of the Hutts, it had become a smuggler's paradise where any strange item could be acquired.

A scientist researching the fusion of human bodies and machines hiding here didn't seem abrupt; in fact, it was quite reasonable.

Similar to Coruscant, this moon had an underworld. On Nar Shaddaa, it was known as the Undercity or the slums. The human test subjects Joan needed were likely scavenged from there.

The coordinates Kahraman sent him were located in the slums.

No ID required, no reservation needed. The Traveler flew directly into the moon's interior and found the docking bay Kahraman had reserved for him.

The moment he stepped off the ship, Amir was choked by the turbid air.
