Chapter 32 - Oke City(2)...

"Ah!" The young male let out a yelp as he quickly pressed on the accelerator.

"Don't go too fast." Saquin stated.

"Yea." The young male nodded. "I am even planning to park."

"No need. We are just here to catch a ride into the city." Saquin replied.

"Oh." The young male blinked. "Okay, young master Saquin."

"Okay, I do not like the way you just said that. I feel like I am being stereotyped." Saquin frowned. "Even though I do not what category you are grouping me with. I do not like the feeling."

"Young Master, he is stereotyping you as one of the various spoilt and arrogant young masters of this planet." Shalis replied him before the young male could respond. "The best he could do is probably stereotype you with the star level young master brats."

"The best?" The young male, who was about to deny Saquin's claim, paused.

True, he had unconsciously stereotyped Saquin as a typical young master brat. But, going by Shalis's cryptic claim, Saquin was definitely not like them.

That was not even the crux of the matter, what bugged him the most was the fact that she had indirectly implied star level young master were not at the same level as Saquin. At least in terms of position.

A star level young master means a young Empowered heir of the Star Class talent level. To be start class talent level, they do not have to possess the corresponding talent level, as long as they possess combat strength of that level, it is sufficient.

So, to put that in context, the young master in front of him was of a higher level, so, a Pinnacle level Empowered.

Coming to this point in his train of thoughts, he unconsciously creeped the vehicle to a stop again.

"Woah." His eyes widened as he stared hard at Saquin. "I can't believe I have someone of your caliber in my vehicle." Elation became his middle name as he grinned ear to ear.

"You have stopped again." Saquin called him back to reality.

---

"You sick fuck of a delivery driver!!!"

"People are probably in need of the goods in your trunk, you monster!"

"You Star-Xpress delivery drivers are the worse!"

"At this point, you are just running late for the love of the game!"

---

"Fuck!" The young male cursed as he moved the vehicle. Again.

"I am sorry, young master Saquin." He apologized. "It is just, I have never met someone of your eminence before."

"Hmm." Saquin nodded and did not give any further comment on the matter. All he wanted was him not to stereotype him, but due to Shalis, completely well welcomed, interference, he now revered him.

He wanted to shoot her a glare but refrained from doing so.

Just then.

"So, young master Saquin, you should be of the same class as the now deceased Prince Greader, right?" The young male asked.

Saquin paused.

He turned to look at the young male for a second. Then.

"Yes, I guess."

He switched his attention back to the approaching city gate.

"Ehn..." The young male had a shocked expression etched on his face.

At first, when the duo appeared, he had always been wary of the female counterpart. The pressure she radiated could not be denied. While, he felt even though the young male seemed strong, he did not feel pressured by him. In fact, he did not feel any pressure at all.

But now?

He is an Assassin type.

He concluded as cold sweat ran down his neck.

That single look had changed his whole perspective of the young master. From that single look, he saw death. He felt, Saquin could have killed him right then, with just his gaze.

Calm down. Calm down.

He chanted in his head as he increased the vehicle's speed.

"We have arrived at the city gate." He unnecessarily announced. Anyone who was not blind could clearly see the wide-open huge gates of the city.

The gate did not have any unique feature to it, neither did it have any special design. It simply looked like a gigantic gate forged from silver.

What was special about the sight though, was the fact that a almost transparent blue film of energy covered the entrance.

"Are those guards going to inspect your vehicle?" Saquin pointed at the group of uniformed armed men standing by a small shelter in the middle of the entrance.

"Nope. They usually don't check delivery vehicles like mine. Actually, they rarely even inspect normal vehicles." The young man answered, he rubbed his head with one of his hands in the process.

"They don't check delivery vehicles. Does that mean you can easily smuggle with your vehicle?" Saquin suddenly asked.

"Uh... Yea. Wait, no. I mean yes." The young male stammered over his words. He was not thrown off that much by the question but by the fact that he felt shards of ice in his sweat while he rubbed his head.

Saquin shook his head at his behavior. "You are weird, you know that right?"

"Yep. Definitely. Super weird." He nodded vigorously. At this point, he dared not say a word against Saquin.

Meanwhile, at that moment, they crossed into the city after receiving a pass from a guard.

To enter the city, all one had to do was get a pass from the guard to which would prevent the energy field from affecting you.

Entering into the city, Saquin stopped paying attention to the young male and instead, cast his gaze onto the city.

The Oke City.

The second most successful and busiest city in the whole planet.

It was a technogical metropolis.

Skyscrapers that practically touched the clouds, streets that winded up and through said buildings.

Diverse and highly organized Districts, each with their own specialty that draws one in like hypnosis.

The busy, stylish population of both man and alien, sometimes, a monster could pass by to increase the diversity.

This was the beauty that Oke City was.

At least in the major part of the city.

Saquin, Shalis and the young male were still very much at the outskirt of the city, where things were not so beautiful.

The slums.

On the highway, it would be hard to truly take a look at the horror of which this side of the city holds. Especially its smell. But, of course Saquin could see a lot with his Spatial Awareness.

The suffering, the hunger, the daylight deceit, the malnourishment...

He was not moved though, he had seen worse.

"So, can we use powers here in the city?" Saquin directed the question at Shalis.

"Yes, young master. But, of course you have to use it to the minimal according to the law." Shalis responded immediately. "Of course with me here, you do not have to follow any law, young master."

"Do not bother Shalis, I won't outright break the law." Saquin relied. "I might, definitelywill, just bend it a bit."

Saquin has a gentle smirk on his face, he turned to the young male. "Brace yourself."

"Uh..?" The young male was confused. Scared too, had he finally decided to kill him?

Teleportation.

One second they were at the outskirt of the city, in the slums. The next second, they were right in the middle of the city.

The vehicle hap appeared in a free area by a field.

"What???!" The young male was dumbstruck. That was teleportation. A space assassin type. Mad.

"Now that is what traveling should be like." Saquin commented absentmindedly as his gaze roamed around, taking in a view of buildings of the city.

"Nice." He complimented. Then, "you know, I never asked for your name."

"Yea... Simons. It is Simons."

"Rank?"

"Pinnacle Senar Initiate."

"Hmm... Simons, we are about to waste a fortune..."
