Olivia's POV
"I will be right out." I smiled, I headed into my closet and changed into a pair of jeans and a tank top. I took a spare clothes and shoes inside my bag.
Luca is taking me into the woods today,he has been apologetic regarding his past behavior, it made me believe he cared about me. He wanted to show me how good of a man he can be, I am no fool I knew he liked me maybe a bit more than I could imagine. I am still trying to be good, be calm and nice to him so I can figure this out, but him being this great can't be good, I just got out of a relationship with Conrad, I felt like I was enjoying spending time with him and forgetting why I am doing it.
"Are you coming with us?." I asked Ares. "It would be fun if you do."
"No!." He rudely said, I didn't take it the wrong way it's Ares he always acts like he has bipolar. One of these days I'm going to ask him if he is.
I headed outside where Luca stood beside the car, I haven't been outside for a while. When he asked me last night what would make me forgive him, I knew it would be my only chance to leave the house and I took it.
"Staring is considered rude Luca." I grinned.
"I can stare at what is mine."
His, it felt unsettling and scary.
I didn't ask what he meant by that, I don't have to put both of us in an awkward situation about our relationship, I like what we are doing and not labeling it made me feel more comfortable and I feel I am very close to making him answer all of my questions
My gaze catches the cottage house Luca told me about last night, he was able to open up to me a little. He told me how he would spend much of his childhood there. He never said anything more than that and I didn't push him. I made my way further into the woods when my eyes met a lake.
"We can go fishing." Luca said.
"That's a good idea, I know I can catch more fish than you." I bragged. That is something I was proud of, I always went finish with mother when I was little, we made money with the fishes sold and we were able to have fun while doing it.
"We will see about that Ollie." Luca smiled.
He is meant to be a fearful Alpha and not this, why is he good for me, what did I mean to him.
"Ollie." I asked.
"It's a new nickname we are working on." He said and I chuckled, the last time someone gave me a nickname that was a long time ago, even Conrad never gave me a nickname he was more comfortable calling my name.
I can't believe I would be racing with the alpha, I know he would be a lot faster than I am, I had the lowest rank as a werewolf, no one was willing to teach me much because they believed an omega could never amount to any greater good but Luca believed in me. I missed my wolf, I haven't changed since I got married to Conrad.
I never felt the need to, Conrad made sure I didn't. He was ashamed of my wolf, ashamed of people knowing a beta married an omega.
"Don't be nervous. Take out a breath and let her out." He whispered against my ear and I smiled.
"I can do this." I said.
"Look at me." Luca said, his hand placed on my chin tilting my head. My eyes fixated on his.
His eyes were on mine and I felt this feeling, am I using him as a rebound, an escape from my true reality while hiding under the disguise of a stupid plan I am making.
"Luca what are you doing?." I asked.
There was something about his eyes that captivated me, his blue eyes that held so much power and strength, he could make the world obey him with just a stare, I see why he was chosen to be the alpha from among his brothers, he saw potential in other people. He saw an Omega as me could do good.
"Thank you." I smiled, our faces were close to each other, I felt his palm against my waist, we were inches away from each other. The heat radiated through my body. My eyes left his and focused on his lips.
It felt like the world would come to a stop when his lips placed against mine, it felt like a dozen butterflies escaped from my body. My lips froze for a minute before moving in sync with his. His tongue swept against my lips leaving his mark on mine, our tongues danced together. I didn't expect our first kiss to be this way, I always saw Luca to be rough but he was gentle. He kissed me like I was an egg about to break. He treated me with respect, his hand never left my body, it gave a form of warmth
Fuck I can't feel for him, I can't fall for the man that I should be scared of even i know nothing about him, when he pulled his lips away from mine, i came to the harsh realization, i am using him as a escape from the pain Conrad inflicted on me.
"Now you are ready." Luca whispered against my lips and I smiled.
I felt guilty for enjoying the kiss, a thought flickered through my mind. I don't want to know as the woman that let the alpha into her pants,
"What are you thinking about?."
"Nothing, I'm ready." I smiled.
A wave of heat radiated through my skin, I felt my skin slowly changing into a fur, my bones cracked. My knees touched the ground as I changed, soon I could no longer feel my skin it was replaced with a white fur. My paws laid perfectly on the ground.
Luca was shocked to see my fur, it was un-usual for an omega to have a white fur, I am unique just like my mother would always tell me, I remember growing up my clan thought I was a Luna because of my fur but after a throughly evaluation, it was known I could never be a Luna, I didn't have what it takes.
"A white fur," Luca said.
"Change." My wolf replied.
I watched as Luca changed into a bigger wolf than mine, he was a black one just like I expected him to be. His blue eyes made him known wherever he went. He was known for these eyes and for his power.
"There is no way I could outrun him." My wolf said.
Luca and I had a good run, I never felt more alive. It felt more like myself having her out in the open, I suppressed my wolf for a long time I thought I won't be able to recognize her. She is me and no one could change that.
We spent half of the day by the lake, having a snack and a conversation. Mostly spoke about his wolf. He told me about his past work, how he was took over some small clans around the area. He spoke with so much pride and joy.
"Do you think I could be leaving the house whenever I want?." I asked.
"No." He replied. "I mean, it's not safe."
"No one knows me." I lived a quite life with Conrad, he never showed me off to anyone, I only attended a few events with him and since he didn't let me work I didn't have much friends, I never spoke to anyone, not even my neighbors.
"You have no idea how words go around quickly?." Luca said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"It's not safe, can you just trust me? I will explain everything when it's time."
I didn't push him to speak anymore, I would hate for us to have a fight because of this especially when I am getting close to having him spill everything . I gave him a smiled and continued to eat.
"It's time to fish." I suggested.
"We could go swimming." Luca suggested.
"The water is freezing." I mumbled.
"A wolf has a natural heat in their body." He said and I rolled my eyes.
I didn't want to go for a swim, mostly because I didn't come with a swim suit and I don't want to swim in my lingerie, it would be weird.
"No swimming, maybe next time." I smiled.
After a couple of hours, Luca had an important meeting, he gave me a kiss before leaving. I could not ignore the stares I got from all the guards when it happened. I headed back into my room in shame.
I didn't realize when I fell asleep, I woke up past midnight to have a snack, I tiptoed downstairs to the kitchen. Thank goodness there was spaghetti in the fridge, I quickly heated it up and chopped up vegetables to make it fresh.
"Spaghetti at midnight." I hear a voice, I knew who it was. I felt his hand around me nuzzling against my neck.
"I got hungry, did I wake you up?." I asked.
"I never slept." Luca said, I wanted to ask why but I didn't. I don't want him thinking I am trying to intrude into his life after one kiss. He brushes his lips against my cheek and say beside me.
"There is still more remaining." I smiled.
"I'm not hungry, I could watch you eat." He suggested, that would be weird.
I got a bit comfortable letting him watch me, after eating. Luca took me back upstairs.
"Maybe we can watch a movie." I said sheepishly, I didn't want him to leave and I didn't want to come off strong asking him to stay with me. I would hate to make him uncomfortable. "It's okay if you don't want to."
"I would loved to." He smiled.
I was proud of my room, everything was arranged perfectly. I turned on the tv to start the movie, Luca and I got comfortable on my bed. It took about twenty minutes before he fell asleep on my bed. He looked peaceful, I didn't wake him up, I let him sleep beside me
I need to figure out what I am doing .
Luca's POV
My eyes flicked open, my senses tensed when I realized I wasn't in my room, the first thing that came to my mind was someone kidnapped me, that can't be possible with all the guards around. My gaze studies the room until my eyes met Olivia. I felt a wave of calmness run through my spine, a form of ease flickered through my mind.
When she suggested a movie last night, I didn't expect I would fall asleep in my room, there was nothing I wanted more than waking up next to her, I thought of that the moment I saw her but I didn't want to scare her away not yet at least.
My hands caresses her hair, a lips found it's place on her forehead laying a kiss on it. She is perfection. The moment soon came to an end when I hear a knock on her door.
"What do you want?." I asked.
"I figured I would find you here, we have a problem." Ares said.
I can't go a day without dealing with the throne.
