Elif arrived at college as usual. Outside she noticed several girls standing in groups, whispering and giggling. The name of everyone lips was the same---A new transfer student.
But Elif was not interested, she never paid much attention to gossip. She walked past them and headed straight to her class.
As soon as she entered, someone covered his eyes playfully from behind.
> Guess who I am ? Elif smiled.
> Mahveen its you right?
It was indeed her best friend Mahveen. The two shared a strong bond. Mahveen was protective of Elif--- always standing by her,knowing how kind and soft hearted she was. The two girls went inside the classroom and took their seats. Mahveen leaned closer and asked,
> Did you hear ? we have a new transfer student. Actually, maybe two or three, I'm not sure.
Elif shook her head.
> No, I don't know ... but yeah, outside everyone seemed to be talking about it.
Mahveen added.
> i heard he's from a very rich family. The only son of a big company CEO'S - I think it was Zavian Enterprises.And apparently, he's super rude too.
Elif shrugged.
> Why should we care? let's focus on today's test. i couldn't prepare yesterday.
Mahveen smiled.
> By the way, i think his name was something like Zavyaan?
Elif froze for a second, yesterday she hadn't asked the boy name-- and he had not told her either. so she didn't know...it was the same Zavyaan.
They both returned to their test prepration. Elif was good at studies, unlike Mahveen , who struggled to stay focus.
Just then, a group of girls rushed out of the class, squealing.
> The transfer students are here!
Mahveen grabbed Elif's arm. > let's go too!
> no i'm not interested, she replied.
But Mahveen dragged her out anyway.
On the other side, Zavyaan arrived in a luxury car, stepping out with Mia and her two stylish friends. The teachers and principle welcomed them personally. Everyone was impressed by the rich boy and his group.
Girls start acting like total fan-girls, giggling and staring. Elif and Mahveen stood quietly in the back. Mahveen noticed Zavyaan immediately. >isn't that him? She asked.
Elif looked up.> That's the guy from yesterday.He helped me with the puppy.
Mahveen grinned.
>Wow! you already met him? look at you, Miss VIP!
Elif blushed a little, surprise to see him again. And to her shock,Zavyaan was walking toward her.He stop right in front of her.
> Hey..... How are you?
> Do you recognize me ? He asked.
Elif give a short smile.>i'm fine.
From the side, Mia saw them talking. She crossed her arms and stepped closer.
> Oh wow, here too? What a coincidence. Will you keep showing us everywhere we go.
Elif said nothing.Mahveen watching closely, began to sence that Mia was not a sweet girl she pretended to be.
Later, Elif and Mahveen returned to class.Zavyaan,Mia and her friends were taken to the principle office for formal addmission. Being the son of a wealthy CEO, Zavyaan was treated like royalty in the collage.
After a while, the principle entered their classroom with Zavyann, Mia and the other two girls.
> Everyone met your new classmates. they will be joining your section starting today. Elif was stunned.
Mia glanced coldly at Elif and flipped her hair with attitude. One by one the new students introduced themselves and took their seats.
It was time for math class, the teacher gave two-day assignment and split the class into groups of three.
To Mia's dismay, the group were announced:
Zavyann, Elif and Mahveen were placed together. Mia and her friends were grouped seperately.
Elif was confused - unsure how to react, the three went and sat together to begin the assigment.
In the corner, Mia clenched her jaw.
> They're getting too close already..... I'll have to do something about this, She thought bitterly.
