Agent 10 spotted a man in a lab coat who was smoking. Agent 10 took advantage of how the man was distracted and snuck up on him.
He crouched and turned his arm into a bat. When he was behind the man, he swung the bat and hit the man's head. He then dragged the man to a nearby alley.
The man walked out. It was Agent 10 disguised as the man. He walked to the door, and the now-invisible Ethan was behind him. He and the disguised agent 10 went into the company
He looked around the lobby, watching how it looked like a typical company, the polished concrete shining and reflecting the light, people in all sorts of outfits, lab coats, casual, formal, and also nurses' clothes.
Ethan: "Seems normal to me."
agent 10: "shush… You may be invisible, but you are not soundproof."
Ethan: "Oh, right, sorry!"
Ethan nodded, then a man with a full beard and a lab coat walked in front of Agent 10. He thought Agent 10 was the man that he had taken out just now.
Bearded man: "Jimmy! hey! That's quick, you usually take half an hour on your smoke break!"
agent 10: "Yeah, I thought I should quit smoking… You know… since it's bad."
Bearded man: "Ah, yes. You finally realized, haha! Good to see that you finally realized how bad it is. Anyways, I'll see you later, man."
Agent 10 walked towards the fire exit. Ethan was confused. He did not know why Agent 10 suddenly walked to a fire exit. He watched as Agent 10 looked at the exit curiously. He then tilted his head down, looking down.
Agent 10: "I sense some abnormal electricity consumption just down the fire exit stairs…"
Ethan: "Cool! That means we just gotta go down the stairs… right?"
Agent 10 ignored Ethan's comment and opened the door. The fire exit was normal looking, the plain concrete stairs and floors, and the lights were dim; they barely lit up the place. They both walked into the fire exit, then they looked around and saw a strange trapdoor. They were surprised to find it.
Agent 10 walked closer to the trapdoor. He crouched and examined it. Meanwhile, Ethan closed the fire exit door and became visible, the invisibility fading, and he reappeared. He looked around, he then walked under the stairs.
After a few moments of looking, he found a strange switch that looked like a standard light switch. He flipped it, and then he heard some whirring. A wall panel had flipped and revealed a keypad above the trap door.
Ethan looked at the keypad and walked to it. He walked backwards and onto the trapdoor. Agent 10 got up and stared at the keypad. He put his hand on it, his hand glowed, and the keypad began beeping, then the trapdoor opened, and Ethan fell through the floor and crashed on the ground.
Ethan: "ow!"
Agent 10: "Watch out where you step."
Ethan: "You should tell me this BEFORE I fall!!"
Agent 10: "Sure, now… what do you see down there?"
Ethan looked around and only saw the color black; the only light came from the trapdoor. Yellow, glowy, tentacle-like hands floated out of his back and swished and floated around the room, their glow lighting the room.
Ethan looked around and saw only an empty room. The floors were gray. He then saw a light switch, he walked to it and flipped it, light suddenly came on, the lights were all on the edges of the room, it looked extremely futuristic…
There was a blue hue, then something whirred, and then a large part of the wall shifted downwards, revealing an elevator.
Ethan: "Hey! Is an elevator in a weirdly futuristic room something normal?"
Agent 10: "No, it is not."
Agent 10 jumped down the trapdoor and into the room. He landed on his feet, then walked to the elevator and examined it. He pressed the down button, and the elevator whirred and the doors opened.
Ethan and Agent 10 walked in, and they pressed the only button that was in the elevator(except for the emergency button). The elevator door closed, and they heard whirring and buzzing. The elevator was going down. After a few seconds then the elevator stopped, it opened and revealed…[REDACTED]
