Chapter 1 - Chapter 1. Bad Luck

This isn't the first fight in the Leaf Village—and it certainly won't be the last. On this particular day, a 6-year-old blond boy found himself battered and bruised, lying on the ground after being attacked without any clear reason. The midday sun cast long shadows on the dirt path, highlighting the scrapes and cuts on his small frame. His blue eyes, usually filled with mischief and energy, now mirrored confusion and distress.

But the 6-year-old wasn't the only one caught in the chaos. A 12-year-old boy was also embroiled in the turmoil, and his injuries were far more severe. His dark hair was tousled, and the family crest on his shirt was smeared with dirt and blood. The 12-year-old had a fierce reputation and prided himself on his fighting skills, but today, he found himself on the receiving end of an unexpected confrontation. The situation escalated quickly when, fueled by a mixture of bravado and a misguided sense of superiority, the 12-year-old decided to taunt and bully the 6-year-old, believing he could easily overpower the younger boy. This choice ignited a chain reaction of conflict that neither of them had anticipated.

"Honestly, you're just a stupid brat at this point," the 6-year-old spat, his voice icy and devoid of emotion. He looked up at the 12-year-old with an intense glare, a fierce mix of defiance and aggression sparkling in his bright blue eyes. Despite his small stature and tender age, there was an unusual confidence radiating from him, as if he believed he could take on the entire world without fear.

In an impulsive and desperate act, the 6-year-old lifted his foot and brought it down hard onto the 12-year-old's chest. The impact was visceral and jarring, sending shockwaves through both boys. Gasped, the forceful blow expelling the air from his lungs and leaving him stunned. A searing pain erupted in his ribs, and for a brief moment, he felt disoriented, struggling to comprehend the unexpected turn of events.

As the 12-year-old boy lay there, grappling with a mix of shock and disbelief, the 6-year-old on his heel. The calmness in his demeanor starkly contrasted with the violent encounter they had just shared. His face remained eerily impassive, betraying no signs of guilt or remorse as he began to walk away. With each step, he felt a sense of triumph, as if he had just proven himself in a world that often overlooked him. "You really thought you could fight bad luck like a fool," he called over his shoulder, his voice steady and unwavering. Those harsh words hung in the air, reverberating in the 12-year-old's mind like a haunting refrain as the darkness of unconsciousness began to close in around him, swallowing everything in its path and leaving him to question what had just transpired in their chaotic world.
