Chapter 127 - 127

He sighed and said, "Alright, but we have to be quick."

Ron was happily fiddling with the outdoor tent.

"Hey, they don't need that! I built a wooden cabin here myself, it's not only warm but also very safe."

Hagrid stopped Ron from unpacking the tent.

Hermione quickly pulled Ron away and glared at him fiercely, whispering in his ear, "Can't you wait a little longer?"

Ron scratched his head and chuckled twice.

Under Hermione's direction, everyone moved things in an orderly fashion until the ground suddenly trembled.

Thump ~ Thump ~ Thump ~

Ron looked down at the pebbles bouncing at his feet and shouted in terror, "It's an earthquake!!!"

Hermione and Harry immediately screamed!

The three of them scrambled away, clutching their heads!

Hagrid and Chu Yang looked at each other.

This was not an earthquake.

Instead, a massive creature was approaching…

"You three, calm down!"

Hagrid grabbed one with each hand, controlling the three scurrying squirrels.

"Look up!"

Hermione heard Hagrid's reminder and was the first to look up, then she saw the sky completely obscured by a huge object.

It was a giant tree towering into the clouds, or rather, a treant. Its size was indescribable; just by standing, its shadow enveloped the nearby lake.

It was chilling!

"Ah ah ah!!!"

Hermione let out a deafening scream.

Harry and Ron looked up at the same time, and after seeing the massive creature, they also started screaming.

Chu Yang's ears hurt from the noise, so he cast a Silencing Charm.

The three of them's mouths seemed to be sewn shut, and their screams abruptly stopped.

"Don't be nervous, that's Chu Yang's pet, haven't you seen it before?" Hagrid explained.

Pet?

Hermione, Harry, and Ron looked at Chu Yang in terror.

"It's the Whomping Willow from the school!"

Seeing them quiet down, Chu Yang lifted the spell.

"Impossible!" Hermione immediately shook her head, "The Whomping Willow isn't that big."

Chu Yang was too lazy to explain to them and directly issued an command to the towering giant tree, "Find a place to sit down, don't block the light."

The giant tree slowly moved, and the wooden cabin was once again bathed in the tranquil Gekko.

Ron squinted one eye upwards and said with difficulty, "I find it hard to believe this is real."

Chu Yang smiled and said, "I gave it a new name, War Tree."

Under Chu Yang's command, the War Tree was very well-behaved.

Hagrid was absolutely right to describe it as a pet.

Harry eyed the War Tree with lingering fear, swallowing a mouthful of saliva.

He now understood why Dumbledore insisted on Chu Yang accompanying him to stay in the Forbidden Forest for a period of time.

Such a terrifying creature, even if Voldemort came, he wouldn't be able to defeat it, right?

As soon as the War Tree sat down, the ground began to tremble again, and then some small branches and vines extended like tentacles to Chu Yang's feet.

They gently brushed against Chu Yang's wizard robe.

"Is it acting spoiled with you?" Hermione looked at the wriggling branches on the ground in surprise.

"Well, strictly speaking, it's still a child," Chu Yang teased.

Ron gave a dry laugh, "A child in its dozens of years..."

Harry adjusted his glasses and nodded, "According to the age of trees, describing a twenty-something-year-old as a child is very apt."

"Well said, Harry!" Hagrid stroked the War Tree's branches, his expression gentle, as if treating a real infant.

"So, with it here, the Forbidden Forest has transformed from the most dangerous place into the safest place?"

Hermione's eyes lit up, and she secretly pinched Ron.

Ron nearly jumped up in pain, but was suppressed by Hermione's fierce gaze, and reluctantly nodded in agreement, "It really feels very safe, Hagrid, don't you agree?"

"Of course!" Hagrid said proudly, "You can completely trust this little fellow!"

Little fellow?

Chu Yang looked at the War Tree, whose height was comparable to Ultraman, and suddenly found it a little funny.

"Since it's so safe, wouldn't it be better for us to stay here?"

Then, Hermione said as a matter of course.

"Of course... no!"

Hagrid, whose intelligence was running low, suddenly realized and quickly shook his head, "Headmaster Dumbledore didn't say you could stay here."

Ron then said, "But he also didn't say we couldn't stay here."

Hagrid was speechless, his brain gradually crashing.

Just then, the ground began to tremble again, and everyone looked towards the War Tree.

Ron reminded, "Don't move around..."

The War Tree reached up to scratch its crown, expressing its bewilderment in every gesture.

I'm not moving...

The few of them looked at each other.

Snorting sounds continuously echoed from deep within the Forbidden Forest, followed by streaks of white figures rushing out of the darkness.

Hermione said excitedly, "It's Unicorns! I saw Unicorns!"

Ron's mouth dropped open, saying in disbelief, "So many Unicorns?! Merlin's beard!"

Countless white figures, illuminated by the Gekko, converged into a torrent, rushing forth like a tsunami, a truly breathtaking sight.

Harry was stunned.

The Unicorns slowly stopped, most of them pausing by the lake to drink water, while the rest walked closer to Chu Yang.

But because there were other people beside Chu Yang, the Unicorns instinctively kept their distance.

Hagrid took a few deep breaths, suppressing his excitement, and turned to Chu Yang, "They must have smelled your aura."

Chu Yang nodded. To be precise, it was the pure life force within his body that was attracting the Unicorns.

"Are they your pets too?" Hermione's excited face was flushed, "I know it's rude to ask, but can I ride a Unicorn, just for a moment?"

"If they don't like it, then never mind..." Hermione said awkwardly, standing in place.

"They are my friends, don't worry, Unicorns really like smart and kind girls like you."

Chu Yang blew a whistle, and the Unicorns standing nearby immediately galloped to him, gently touching his hand with their heads.

Life force, like a hot spring, flowed into the Unicorns' bodies through Chu Yang's hand.

It let out a joyful neigh.

"Get on!"

Chu Yang cast a Levitation Charm on Hermione, precisely placing her on the Unicorn's back.

Amidst Hermione's joyful cries, the Unicorn carried her as she strolled near the wooden cabin, bathing in the Gekko.

The scene was beautiful.

Ron said anxiously, "Me too, I want to ride!"

A mischievous smile flashed in Chu Yang's eyes, "Are you sure?"

Ron nodded firmly.

"Alright, you said it yourself."

Chu Yang used the Levitation Charm to send him onto the back of another Unicorn.

As soon as he got close, the Unicorn tilted its head to the side and immediately bucked, kicking Ron off in mid-air.

"Ouch!!!"

Ron landed on his backside, wincing in pain.

Hagrid eventually couldn't argue with Hermione, and after repeated admonitions, he left the Forbidden Forest.

Actually, Dumbledore had initially intended for Hagrid to also stay in the Forbidden Forest with them.

But Hagrid refused, because Hagrid felt that Dumbledore's situation was more dangerous than Chu Yang's and Harry's; he would face the insidious Death Eaters directly.

The great Dumbledore would certainly not lose, but he was getting on in years after all.

After Hagrid left, the wooden cabin became a playground. Hermione, Harry, and Ron frolicked to their hearts' content, playing with the Unicorns.

Chu Yang took the opportunity to quietly pack up the tents and sleeping bags.

Judging by how these few were acting, it was unlikely anyone would choose Hagrid's carefully prepared small wooden beds, so Chu Yang took four sleeping bags at once.

About half an hour later, the three of them were exhausted from playing.

When they returned, rubbing their eyes, they saw four cute little tents had appeared on the empty grassy area in front of the wooden cabin.
