Chapter 65 - 13-15

Chapter 13

A month ago, at a secluded hideout.

"Whiplash."

The infamous villain was sitting in his "home" when he got a call from his employer.

"Sir," Whiplash answered respectfully.

"I have received news that Izuku Midoriya is going under intense combat training." His boss told him.

Oh. That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all.

"Will this be a problem?" His boss asked him.

"Yeah, the power of Midoriya's suits is overwhelming. If manages to become at least proficient in combat himself, then I won't be able to beat him." Whiplash answered honestly.

One of the reasons Whiplash lasted so long as a villain, was because he knew what he could and couldn't go up against. It was something he learned quickly, as he saw many of his overconfident allies get into fights with Ground Zero with predictable results.

Izuku was so much faster and stronger than him, that it blew his mind that he managed to beat him twice, and only did so because his opponent lacked any real skill.

"I see...well then I will need to relocate you until we can find a way to fix this Midoriya problem." His boss told him. "You will be housed on one of our factories, on a secluded island."

"Sir, with all due respect, Midoriya isn't going to let me go that easily. And with their resources, there is a good chance that he or some top-ranking heroes could find me." Whiplash pointed out.

"Le Million is still out of the country, and the island heavily defended, you should be more than fine as long as Ground Zero or Todoroki don't show themselves." His boss said.

"And if they do?" Whiplash asked.

"Then do your best." His boss said simply. "You have your orders, are you going to refuse?"

"...No sir." Whiplash sighed. "I will move on your command."

It was just something one had to accept when they became a villain. You always ran the chance of running into A Million or Ground Zero or Todoroki, and then it was all over.

All he could do was wait, and hope.

Present Day, with Izuku.

Izuku was flying through the air, over the ocean faster than the speed of sound, heading towards the island he was told Whiplash would be hiding on.

And he wouldn't just find Whiplash, but an entire factory and shipping facility for his stolen tech.

It was practically calling to him, and he was about to answer.

"Sir, we'll be arriving at the island in one minute," Jarvis told him. "I suspect that the island will be mildly or heavily armed, and there is a decent chance that anti-air weapons will be among those defenses."

"Thank you, Jarvis," Izuku said, as he got ready to dodge. "I'll-"

"A barrage of small missiles incoming!" Jarvis warned. "Charting optimal course."

Izuku saw dozens of red blips on his map pop up, all heading right towards him. And there was a blue line behind drawn showing him exactly where to go.

However, he would still have to fly through a bunch of rockets.

Hope my training with Nejire paid off. Izuku thought.

A few moments, later, the rockets were insight.

VWOSH!

Izuku burst past them, using his newly enhanced reflexes and training, to dodge the rockets, flying past them and closer to the island which was now seeable.

Most of it was covered by a huge complex, that was the size of a mall, with a dock located on the far left. With many large shipping boats floating there.

"Let's try and hit them before they can fire again. Scan for all defense systems on the island." Izuku ordered his A.I.

"Already done sir," Jarvis said as a bunch of blinking red dots were displayed. Thirty rocket turrets were aimed at Izuku, and soon to fire.

"Alright, fire the homing rockets," Izuku ordered as he continued towards the island.

Izuku was now flying above the entrance to the island, and the armor's shoulders rose up, and ten rockets flew out and homed in on some of the turrets.

KABOOM!

The rockets hit, and they destroyed the turrets they hit, as well as some of the turrets that were close to the blast radius. Overall, seventeen turrets had been disabled.

PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW!

At the same time, Izuku unleashed a flurry of repluser blasts at the turrets he hadn't targeted with the rockets, destroying eight more in a flash.

The remaining nine turrets fired a flurry of rockets at Izuku.

PEW PEW PEW!

Izuku swiftly dodged most of the rockets, while destroying some others, and shooting out some more repluser blasts at the turrets, destroying the remaining turrets.

"Is that all the defenses?" Izuku asked his A.I.

"Unlikely," Jarvis responded. "Although I am not currently detecting any more defenses, that is most likely because of the cloaking technology they stole from you."

Izuku grit his teeth, before shaking his head to refocus himself. I can't afford to let my anger cloud my judgment. No again.

He looked to the cargo ships. "Speaking of stolen technology."

Izuku flew over to the boats, hovering down so that way he was directly facing the side of one of them. "Jarvis located the engines on these boats."

"Very well….done." Jarvis quickly showed the location on Izuku's hud, allowing the genius to see the engines right through the boats.

Izuku aimed his palm at the engine and shot out a repulsor beam.

The beam quickly melted through the hull, and pierced the engine, causing it to explode.

Izuku swiftly did the same thing to the other boats, rendering them immobile.

"No escape," Izuku said flying back up into the air.

"Good job sir, with no escape, you could wait for the heroes to arrive and safely apprehend the villains," Jarvis suggested.

"I...oh." Izuku hadn't really thought of that.

Without any method of leaving the island, the villains were essentially helpless, sitting ducks.

He didn't have to fight Whiplash now. Because he could just wait an hour or so for Ground Zero, Todoroki, Sun Eater, or any other pro heroes to show up and overwhelm them.

He felt...a profound sense of disappointment and anti-climax.

His brain searched for reasons to actually enter and fight the villain, and after a few moments, he found some.

"Well...what if they have a villain with a teleportation quirk?" Izuku asked his A.I.

"Teleportation quirks are quite rare, but given the possible largeness of the criminal organization we're facing, the overall chances of this are 2.37%," Jarvis reported. "And the chances that there could be a person with a teleportation quirk that would allow them to escape to shore from this range, is about 0.0078."

"Well...what are the chances of them having some other method of escape?" Izuku asked.

"Without us noticing? 10.7%." Jarvis answered. "Sir, are you just looking for reasons to go in?"

"I...yes," Izuku admitted dejectedly.

There was a short pause before Jarvis responded again. "Sir, if you go in there, the chances of success are 78.97%."

"...Are...you telling me to go in?" Izuku asked his A.I. in shock.

"I was built to offer optimal strategies and advice, as such I can not advise that you take such unnecessary risks," Jarvis told him. "What I am saying, is that it is very unlikely that you will perish, and the chances of their escape, is well above zero."

"So...go after him is what I'm hearing?" Izuku asked in a hopeful tone.

"If that is truly what you wish to do, then so be it," Jarvis answered.

Izuku looked at the factory and gave it a few seconds of thought. "Ochaco's gonna be so disappointed in me."

Izuku flew over the factory's entrance and landed in front of it.

Meanwhile, with Whiplash.

brrrrrrr! brrrrrrr!

"Intruder Alert! The entrance has been breached!"

Flashing red lights filled the factory, accompanied by the sound of blaring alarm bells, alerting everyone to the fact that something had gone terribly wrong.

Whiplash was one of those people.

He had been sitting in his office that oversaw a good chunk of the factory when the alarms went off and the security systems turned on.

From his office Whiplash could see blast doors closing, and turrets popping up.

These would all be useless if the person invading was who he thought it was.

A goon burst into his office, panic evident on his face. "Boss! Security reported in! It's Midoriya! He's invading the facility and taking the security and the guards! He's already taken out the boat's engines! We need your help, sir!"

Shit. Whiplash thought, doing his best to keep his calm. Not like retreating to the boats would have been a good idea anyway. Not with him flying around being able to sink them at a moment's notice.

But, there was still one option.

"What's the status of the emergency stealth submarines?" Whiplash asked.

"Well um, no reports about that sir." The goon reported.

"So we can assume Midoriya hasn't gotten to that yet," Whiplash responded.

There was a good chance that Midoriya would now be able to beat him. And his goons wouldn't be able to help much if at all.

His only surefire chance would be to avoid confrontation altogether and retreat to the submarine, which should be untraceable.

The only issue was that the submarine was six floors below his current location and would take him about twenty-five minutes to get to.

Midoriya's armor could go through this entire facility in five minutes, and the blast doors would only buy him about thirty seconds at best.

After a bit of thought, Whiplash had an idea.

Perhaps those minions wouldn't be so useless, after all.

"Tell everyone to arm up, get weapons from the high-quality cargo," Whiplash ordered. "Tell everyone to gather upon production floor C."

"Sir are you sure that's gonna work?" The goon asked.

"With those weapons and that many people, definitely." Whiplash lied. He estimated the chance of that actually stopping Midoriya being about fifteen percent.

But they would buy time, and waste Midoriya's power.

And that's all they were good for.

Back with Izuku.

Izuku walked through the falls of the factory, his armor getting pelted with bullets from both the turret that came out of the wall and the three goons shooting guns at him.

PEW PEW PEW!

With a few repulsor blasts, all the threats were disposed of. The turrets were destroyed and the men were rendered unconscious.

He matched past them, and up to the blast doors that were blocking the exit to the hallway.

"Sir, judging from my scans, this leads onto a large factory floor, about half a mile long," Jarvis warned him. "And there are about a hundred and seventy men holding weapons. From what my readings show, they're quite powerful, most likely stolen from Midoriya Industries."

"Can they damage my armor?" Izuku asked concernedly. If there were that many people holding weapons made from his tech, then this could be a real problem.

"Unknown, but there is about a sixty percent chance that they could do somewhere between three to five percent damage," Jarvis reported.

Of course, that didn't seem like much damage. And it wasn't.

However if almost two hundred people were shooting at him at once, then even one percent damage it way too much.

"Ok, let me see through this door, give me a complete view of the room and the positions of the men," Izuku ordered.

It was time to strategize.

"Of course sir," Jarvis replied, and Izuku was shown the full layout of the room, and where all the goons were standing.

The room was massive, with lots of boxes and conveyor-belts on the bottom floor. Up top was a bunch of catwalks.

After looking at it for a couple of minutes, Izuku nodded. "Ok, time to go."

The first issue would be the door. Normally he could get through it with a few good punches, however, after just a single punch, they would be alerted to his presence and have the drop on him.

So he'd have to take a different approach.

And so, he turned around, and ran back, all the way to the end of the hall, and turned back to face the door.

"Okay, you can do this," Izuku muttered to himself.

WOOSH!

Izuku rocketed towards the door, using his thrusters to propel himself at the door at max speed.

He raised his fist forward and punched through the door in an instant.

Without stopping, only slowing slightly, he charged forward, barreling through the line of goons in his way, and making it to the other end of the room before the goons even knew what happened.

Izuku rocked up into the air and fired two repulsor beams at sections of the catwalks where many goons were standing, cutting away at their supports and causing them to fall onto the goons below, taking many more of them out.

"Eighty-seven villains removed sir," Jarvis said.

"Shit he's here!" One of the goons panicked. Izuku had moved so fast that he had taken out the line of goons and the ones on the catwalks before the villains could even register that he'd come in. "Open fir-ahhhHH!"

Before the guy could finish his sentence, the armor's shin's opened up, and the flares flew out into the air and exploded into a blinding light the engulfed the entire room, and stunned the remaining grunts.

Izuku landed on the ground, and then propelled himself forward right at the grunts, and took out another line of them, before flying around to take out another line.

He then thrust up into the air and spun in a circle while letting out repulsor blast all over the place, hitting dozens of goons that were hiding behind the machines.

"One hundred and thirty-seven enemies disposed of," Jarvis reported.

"Gah! Take him down!" The remaining goons all opened fire at Izuku, but their aim was sloppy and by now, Izuku had taken out enough goons to make space for him to dodge the bolts of energy coming out of the goon's guns.

He still got dinged a few times, taking a bit of damage to his armor.

As Izuku did his best to dodge, he let out a hail or repulsor blast at the goons, aiming mainly for the ones who were by themselves. "Shit he's too strong!" Shouted one goon in terror.

Izuku then used his repluser beams, to knock down entire groups with a single swipe.

"Good sir, only thirteen remaining," Jarvis said.

The remaining thugs all decided, "fuck this" and threw away their guns holding up their arms in surrender.

"We give up!"

"Don't shoot!"

Izuku ignored their cries, and shot out twelve repulsor blasts, taking out twelve of the goons and sending them to the floor, leaving only one terrified guard remaining.

"Now." Izuku flew down right in front of the grunt, who fell on his ass in shock. "Tell me. Where. Is. Whiplash?"

A few minutes later, with Whiplash.

After all, that time booking it to the submarine room, Whiplash had finally arrived at the subterranean room docking station.

Sitting in a large pool of water that led out into the ocean, was three submarines, all decked out with the best stealth equipment they could get their hands on.

The room was filled with heavy equipment, as well as crates filled with goods.

While the subs were meant mostly to transport goods to more secure areas or to transport extremely valuable goods, they also served for emergency escapes.

However, just as Whiplash thought he was about to make a getaway.

BRRRRRR!

KABOOM!

A repulsor blast flew past his head, and hit the center submarine right in the fuel tank, causing it to explode, and heavily damaging the other two subs in the process.

Whiplash watched with dread as his methods of escape sunk before his eyes. Literally.

He turned around, and sure enough, Izuku was standing there with his arm raised and his repulser aimed right at Whiplash.

"Looks like you were the one running this time," Izuku told him. Inside him, feelings of immense satisfaction, relief, and slight nervousness, welled up.

It was time to end this.

Whiplash powered up his whips and hit them against the floor. "I've beaten you twice before without taking a hit. If you pick this fight, I'm not letting you leave alive again."

It was a bluff. But Whiplash had to get every advantage he could. If he could convince Izuku to walk away, that'd be the best result. Then hopefully he could call for an escape.

"I'm not the same as I was all those months ago!" Izuku told him. "I've spent all this time, training, working, so that way I could take you down! Not only that, but this armor is far superior to the other armor's you've fought!"

"Do you really think that a few months can make up for a difference of years of experience and skill? How arrogant." Whiplash replied. "And, your poor family. Wasting all that time doing that when you could have spent it with them."

"I multitasked!" Izuku shouted back. "I love my family more than anything! Of course, I paid attention to them!"

"Well if you care about them so much then you should walk. Away." Whiplash replied. "Go back to them, and quit the hero crap."

Izuku was about to shout back, but Jarvis spoke up first. "Sir, my sensors are detecting perspiration, coming from Whiplash. I believe he is trying to either stall, or he is attempting to persuade you to retreat. Judging from what he has been saying, I would guess the latter. My suggestion would be to not listen to him any further."

"...Right, enough talking," Izuku said. "Time to end this."

Shit. Whiplash thought.

Izuku made the first move, charging forward at incredible speeds, with his fist outstretched in an attempt to punch the villain in the face, but Whiplash barely managed to avoid the blow by ducking under it and then flipping over to the side.

Before Whiplash could start attacking, Izuku unleashed a volley of repulsor blast at Whiplash, forcing the villain to keep flipping while flailing his whips to avoid and block the blast.

Izuku zipped behind Whiplash and kicked his side.

"AGH!" Whiplash was sent flying by the power of Izuku's attack, getting sent through one of the crates.

"I hit him!" Izuku celebrated with elation. "I finally hit him!"

"Good job sir, but focus on the battle," Jarvis told him.

"Sorry!" Izuku quickly got his head back in the fight and flew over to where Whiplash had flown.

But when he flew past the destroyed crate, he didn't see the villain.

"Judging from how hard he was stuck, his velocity, and accounting for the weight of his equipment, he should have landed here." Jarvis made a highlighted circle on the ground, showing the area where Whiplash should have been.

"Well then where is he?" Izuku asked, staring at the spot Jarvis pointed out.

"Behind you!" Jarvis altered.

"Huh?!" Izuku turned around, and just managed to see the whip coming at him in time to fly to the left and dodge it, and then fly up to avoid the other whip swing.

Whiplash was standing on a stack of crates, and Izuku could see that his kick had left a serious dent in Whiplash's armor.

Izuku raised his palm and let out a repulsor blast at Whiplash, but the villain backflipped off the crates and dodged his attack.

"Damn it! How is he still dodging me!? I'm moving at speeds so fast he shouldn't be able to react! Or at least react this well!" Izuku asked in frustration.

"A theory, sir. Perhaps he is listening to the sounds of the armor, in order to predict your attacks." Jarvis suggested.

"The sounds of my armor?" Izuku's eyes widened in realization. "Of course! My repulser and thrusters all make loud noises before they activate!"

"Indeed sir, I would suggest you forgo using your thrusters and repulser, it would also help conserve your armor's power, which is currency at 45%," Jarvis advised. "Also watch out on your bottom right!"

Izuku was more ready for it this time and dodged an overhead whip swipe from Whiplash, who was hiding behind another pile of crates.

After his attack failed, Whiplash retreated back behind the crates and out of sight.

Izuku flew right through the crates, cutting the villain off before he could hide again, before dropping to the floor in front of him.

Whiplash tried to raise his left whip up to attack him, but Izuku had already zipped right in front of him and smacked the whip out of his hand.

Izuku thrust his fist forward, right into Whiplash's chest, making a huge dent in his armor and forcing the villain to go flying once more, this time into the water.

"Wait, Jarvis, will his equipment electrocute him!?" Izuku quickly asked the A.I.

"No sir. Do remember that he is using YOUR equipment, which you have made thoroughly waterproof." Jarvis reminded him.

"Oh, yeah." Izuku blushed with embarrassment at having forgotten that. "Anyway, I'm going in!"

Izuku ran towards the water and dived headfirst.

And almost immediately after submerging, he had the Whiplash's whip wrapped around him.

"What!" Izuku cried out, as his armor started taking damage.

This didn't last long, however, and Izuku grabbed the whip, no longer caring about the damage it did to him, and ripped it out of Whiplash's hands, cutting off its connection to his quirk.

Now with the whip doing no damage, Izuku took the whip off of him, and then threw it aside, and looked turned up and behind him to see Whiplash attempting to swim away from him.

Izuku activated his thrusters, and flew up, grabbing Whiplash as he made his way out of the water and into the air.

He threw Whiplash onto the floor, hard. Making the whip wielder gasp as he got the wind knocked out of him.

Izuku dived down and delivered a solid blow to Whiplash's face.

And then he brought down his other fist for another, and another and another.

All the months of frustration were now being taken out on the person who had caused it all.

After a few more blows, Izuku stopped.

He looked down at Whiplash, and at his work. His mask had been torn off, and his face was now bruised and bloody beyond recognition and he was definitely unconscious.

"You've won sir," Jarvis told a panting, Izuku. "Congratulations."

Izuku took a moment to let that soak in before a huge smile broke out on his face, and he raised his arms to the sky in victory. "YEAHHHHHHHHHH!"

Chapter 14

"Cheers!" Eri, Izuku, and Ochaco all clinked their glasses together in celebration.

It was only a few hours ago that Izuku finally took down Whiplash, as well as hundreds of his henchmen, and an entire factory of his stolen tech.

All the criminals had been promptly taken to jail, with Whiplash having been infamous enough that he got a spot in Tartarus.

Once Izuku had gotten back and told his wife and daughter the news, they were ecstatic and quickly decided to celebrate their victory with a special family dessert.

They sat around their family table, a small round table located in Izuku and Ochaco's room, with only enough room for three people.

The desserts consisted of predictable things like apple pie(Imported from America), and Mochi. As well as some other things like Crepes, Manju and Honey Toast, as well as a few other things.

The three Midoriya's took long sips of their drinks. Wine for Izuku and Ochaco and apple juice for Eri.

"Finally!" Ochaco felt like she'd been holding a breath during the entirety of Izuku's training, and now that Whiplash was behind bars, the relief she felt was immense. "That ba-bad man is behind, gone for good!"

"I knew you could do it, daddy!" Eri had been far more...ecstatic today, having a tiny smile on her face that made both parent's hearts burst with affection.

"I knew he could do it too sweetheart." Ochaco liked to think she wasn't lying. She kept reassuring herself that once Izuku was trained he'd kick Whiplash's ass, which he did, but she couldn't fully quell the fear that something would go wrong, and she'd be forced to raise Eri alone.

Even now, deep down within her, she was afraid because she knew this wasn't the end of Izuku's adventures as Iron Man, and he would only face more threats in the future.

But she pushed those thoughts aside. Worrying about it wouldn't help, all she could do was support him. As she always had.

And tonight, that support came in the form of a celebration.

"Honestly it was kind of anti-climatic. Once my reflexes were able to keep up with my Armor's speed the fight was pretty much in the bag. Although I'm glad I got the training just in case, otherwise he might have tried to use my speed against me." Izuku felt exhausted...but in a satisfying way. It was like he had just won a race or something, after preparing for all that time. "Although I will have to adjust the armor so the repulsors and my other weapons aren't quite as loud, Whiplash managed to use that against me."

"C-can you tell me about the fight daddy?" Eri asked, shyly looking down at her apple pie as if she was ashamed to ask the question.

"Of course sweetheart." Izuku smiled at his daughter and gently patted her head, reassuring her that everything was fine and she'd done nothing wrong.

Ochaco just sat back and smiled as she watched her Husband retell what had happened that morning.

As Izuku told his story to Eri, she couldn't help but focus on his eyes. God she'd rarely seen them so alive. It was one of the reasons she couldn't refuse him when he insisted on being Iron Man. She'd loved whenever Izuku became passionate about something when the normally subdued and meek Izuku, showed his true self and became determined and outspoken. And now she got to see that side of him far, far more often.

She couldn't ignore her daughter's expression either. Her mouth slacked open in amazement at her father's tale, her full attention dedicated to Izuku as he talked, and her eyes shared the same spark of life as Izuku, showing the deep admiration she held for her adopted father.

This beautiful scene was nearly enough to bring her to tears.

But of course...something had to ruin it.

Ping!

Ochaco was snapped out of her thoughts, as her phone suddenly pinged.

She pulled it out and saw that it was a text message...from Jarvis.

That's strange. Why didn't he just speak up? The house has speakers for him to use. Ochaco wondered in confusion.

However, once she read the text message, she understood why.

"Mam. Bakugo Katsuki is out the front gate. Chizome is informing him that he is unwelcome here, but he is being very insistent and I fear a fight may soon break out. I did not wish to worry young or Sir Izuku, so I have informed you via text rather than using the speakers." Is what Jarvis's text read.

Ochaco immediately felt her mood sour, as her expression immediately shifted into a scowl.

She quickly looked up at Eri and Izuku and found that they hadn't noticed any of this. Having been too caught up in Izuku's story.

It would be a real shame to ruin their fun.

"Excuse me, I have some work to take care of." Ochaco got up from her seat, gaining the two's attention.

"W-what? Right now?" Izuku's smile almost immediately fell, as a crestfallen expression made its way on both his and Eri's faces.

"Mommy has to leave?" Hearing the sadness in her daughter's voice just added to the many reasons she wanted to castrate Bakugo Katsuki.

"I'm sorry, I would ignore it if I could, unfortunately, this can't be ignored...no matter how much I want to." Ochaco sighed, she could already feel a headache coming on. "It'll be quick. I promise."

"Well if I can't be avoided." Izuku sighed.

Ochaco walked over to Eri and leaned down to kiss her cheek and ruffle her hair. "I'll be right back sweetie."

"Ok." Eri seemed unsure, but she trusted her mother so she was hopeful.

With that, Ochaco left the room.

Pissed, and ready to kill.

At the front gate, a few minutes later.

"How many times do I have to tell you this you shitty excuse for a hero! Get lost!" Chizome shouted from one side of the gate.

"All right, that's it! I don't even care about Midoriya anymore! Open up this fucking gate so I can kick your ass!" Bakugo shouted back from the other side, explosions bursting from his palms.

"KATSUKI FUCKING BAKUGO!"

Bakugo froze for a moment before his scowl returned. "Ah shit."

Chizome looked behind him and found Ochaco stomping down the path to the gate with a furious look and a wrathful expression.

"What the hell do you think you're doing here!?" Ochaco shouted as she made her way to the gate, and she and Bakugo met face to face for the first time in a long time. "And why now of all times! I was just having a lovely meal with my family, and NOW you show up!?"

"Ugh, listen round face, I just wanna talk to your fucking husband." Bakugo wanted to scream, but he'd learned that getting into a yelling match with Ochaco wouldn't help him in the slightest.

Ochaco massaged the bridge of her nose, as her headache worsened. "You know, I will NEVER, let you do that right? I thought I was very clear about how much I hate you back at U.A.? Or when I banned you from receiving our products? Of course, that's assuming you didn't buy them off the black market you swine."

"I don't need your fucking gear, and I'm not so fucking pathetic to get any fucking stolen gear are you shitting me?" Bakugo took a deep breath and summoned up all of his patients. "Listen. I know you don't fucking like me. You've made that, very clear. But I need to talk to your fucking husband because he's being a fucking idiot!"

"...So that's what you're here for." Ochaco leveled a deadly glare at the hero. It didn't take a genius to figure out what he was talking about. "Although I don't see how that's any of your business."

"Not any of my business!? That idiot's gonna…" Bakugo managed to stop himself before he finished his sentence. But the fury in Ochaco's eyes told him he had already said too much.

"Gonna what? Kill himself? You should be jumping for joy then. After all, you always wanted him to listen to you." Ochaco words dripped with venom, as she made no attempt to hide her sheer hatred.

"I never wanted him to do that! I know it was a stupid fucking thing to say! I was just a stupid fucking kid!" Bakugo would forever regret saying those words to Izuku, as when Ochaco found out about that, she effectively banned him from Izuku's life.

Which you'd think would be impossible, but if Bakugo had to name one thing he respected about Ochaco, it was her determination. This combined with the fact the death grip she held on Izuku's life, allowing her to influence him to do virtually anything, meant she was more than capable of keeping the two apart for the duration of their time at U.A. especially with all the shit happening with the league and other villains, giving Bakugo more important things to worry about.

The last time the two had spoken to each other was in middle school, and Bakugo never got to apologize.

"What you just want me to get over?! Why would I? Izuku didn't! He didn't for years!" Ochaco shouted at him. "Do you have any idea how much pain he caused him! How long it took for me to heal those wounds! And the scars he still has today! Name one reason! One good fucking reason, why I should let you near him again! And near our daughter?!"

"Because he needs to fucking stop!" Bakugo's limited patience ended, and he lashed out at Ochaco. "You know damn well that idiot won't think twice about killing himself if he thinks he can help someone! That idiot isn't a pro hero, I thought he would have given up after that villain kept kicking his ass, but the fucker's still going! He needs to fucking stop!"

Ochaco scoffed. "He's got training you know. And the Iron Man suit is the most advanced weapon on the face of the planet. And he's only doing this until we take down the villains stealing our tech."

"Oh come the fuck on! Your not stupid round face so I know you don't believe that bullshit!" Bakugo argued. "Now that he's got a way to be a hero, he's never gonna fucking stop!"

"Then what are you even here for!?" Ochaco shouted at him at the top of her lungs.

It's not like what Bakugo was saying was untrue. She knew Izuku better than he knew himself, and she knew that getting Izuku to stop would be a task she feared even she would be unable to accomplish.

But she definitely didn't appreciate that fact being thrown in her face.

"If you know he won't stop, and you don't think I can stop him, then what the hell do you think YOU can do!?" Ochaco asked venomously.

"I-I don't fucking know!" Bakugo admitted. "But I'm not gonna just fucking sit still and watch Deku throw himself at his death!"

"Why do you care!?" Ochaco just couldn't get Bakugo's logic. He came to a place he knew he wasn't welcome to, to see a person he knew he couldn't see, to try and "save" someone he clearly hated.

"Why do I care?! Because I don't want Deku to fucking die!" Bakugo shouted at her.

Despite what Ochaco may have thought, Bakugo had grown as a person since middle school. Although it took him longer than he was proud of, thanks to the help of people like Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, and hell even the league of villains, he'd come to realize that what he'd done to Izuku, was wrong.

But it'd taken him so long to realize that, that by the time he got into the mindset of wanting to apologize, Ochaco and the conflict with the league got in his way.

As such, he felt like...like something was missing. He knows he's moved on from the person he once was, but he'd never managed to apologize for his biggest mistakes, and the last thing he'd said to his once childhood friend was "take a swan dive off the roof".

And now there was a chance that that would be THE last thing he would ever have said to him. And that the feeling like that part of his life he spent as a bully and an abuser, would never truly be concluded.

Like hell, he was just gonna let that happen.

"I've heard enough." Ochaco was putting her foot down. "You want Izuku to live? Fine. Do your fucking job, and take out the people stealing our tech. And don't think I won't know if you try to swipe any. Now you have five minutes to leave before I call the ACTUAL heroes to come and arrest you for trespassing."

Bakugo leveled his most malicious glare at Ochaco and took a step back. "You know it's not like before. He's not hiding away anymore. One day, I'm gonna talk to him, and you can't fucking stop me."

If looks could kill, the entire area would have been nuked by the glares Ochaco and Bakugo were sending each other's way.

Eventually, Bakugo turned to leave.

Once Bakugo was out of sight, Ochaco growled and turned back to the house, Chizome following along.

"I really wish Izuku didn't defend him so much," Chizome growled, in the same foul mood as she was.

"So do I. But I can't lie, his results as a hero are impressive. And so long as that's the case Izuku won't let us do anything about him." Ochaco sighed. "I hate him but he saved lives."

"That doesn't make him a hero." Chizome was quick to say.

Ochaco nodded in agreement. "I know. And as far as I'm concerned. Izuku will ALWAYS be a better hero than him...Now if you excuse me, I have a meal to get back to."

"Right. Have a good time Ma'am." Chizome told them.

A few minutes later, back with Izuku and Eri.

"I'm back!" Ochaco said, going through the doors and reaching her room again.

She had managed to shake off most of her residual frustration and anger from meeting with Bakugo, but Izuku could still tell that something was off.

"Is something wrong dear?" Izuku asked her, able to tell from her forced smile that something was upsetting her.

Ochaco sighed and collapsed into her chair. "Nothing. Just had to deal with someone frustrating."

"Oh, was that person named Bakugo?" Izuku asked, suspiciously.

Ochaco eyes went wide, as she knew she'd been caught.

She gave a resigned sigh and asked. "How'd you know?"

"Because there are very few people who can frustrate you like that and keep their jobs," Izuku explained. "And on the top of that list is Bakugo."

"What can I say, he's like an itch where you just can't reach," Ochaco grumbled while she drank her wine.

"We'll talk about him later," Izuku told her.

"Who's Bakugo?" Eri asked innocently. "And why did he make mommy mad?"

Ochaco put her tea down and opened her mouth ready to just unload on Bakugo in the worst way one could without profanity.

But Izuku spoke first.

"Ochaco." Izuku didn't yell, but his voice was firm, as was the soft glare he was giving her.

Ochaco closed her mouth and pouted, looking away to show her annoyance.

Izuku sighed and then turned to his daughter. "Bakugo is...a complicated topic. He can be good sometimes, but...he's also done some bad things...to me."

"What bad things?" Eri asked, her eyes full of concern.

Ochaco sipped her tea, needing something in her mouth to keep her from talking.

Izuku thought about the best way to explain this without pissing off Ochaco. "He said a lot of bad things, that...really hurt me. On the inside. And sometimes he'd hurt me on the outside too. He didn't try to kill me or anything-"

Ochaco scoffed.

"-but it did hurt." Izuku finished. "But. He is a hero now, and he saves a lot of people, and beats a lot of bad guys."

Eri tilted her head in confusion and Izuku could see the concern and worry in her eyes. "But...he hurt you...heroes aren't supposed to hurt good people? How...how could he be a hero if he hurt you?"

Izuku took a deep breath and sighed. He looked at Ochaco, who was giving him a look that said "go ahead. It's all you" while also communicating that she wasn't happy with it.

"Well...sometimes. Bad people or people do bad things...want to stop being bad people. They want to be better. And I think that we should give them the chance to be." Izuku explained in the simplest way possible. "But mommy doesn't want to forgive him. Mommy is still upset at him, and doesn't want to give him a chance to be better."

"I agree with mommy," Eri said.

"And that's why your mommy's good girl." Ochaco praised her daughter, smiling brightly while leaning down to hug her.

Izuku facepalmed and released another sigh for what felt like the thousandth time. "Let's just drop this. Talking about Bakugo never leads to anything good."

"Your right! Let's talk about where we're gonna go tomorrow to continue the celebration!" Ochaco said, grabbing Eri and keeping her on her lap.

"Yup! An all-day trip to Mighty Land!" All the frustration dissipated from Izuku's voice and was replaced with cheer and excitement.

"Izuku, we always go to Mighty Land. Why don't we try somewhere different? Like the zoo." Ochaco suggested. "I wanna show my little unicorn the horses."

"Ochaco, if we wanted to show her a horse we could just buy her one." Izuku pointed out, crossing his arms. "And Eri's never been to Mighty Land so now's the perfect time!"

"Okay, what if we just did both," Ochaco suggested. "One day at Mighty Land, the next at the zoo?"

"Hmm." Izuku didn't want to spend too long not fighting against the smugglers. But at the same time, he did want to go to Mighty Land again, and he definitely wanted to spoil his daughter some more.

He looked at Eri and after spending a few moments looking at her adorable face, he decided an extra day wouldn't kill him.

"Alright! Let's do it!" Izuku agreed.

The rest of the meal went better, with Eri eventually going onto Izuku's lap, much to Ochaco's chagrin.

However, after putting Eri to sleep, Izuku and Ochaco were left by themselves, to talk.

They sat on the bed, looking at each other, while in their nightwear.

"Ochaco. Bakugo came to the house didn't he." It wasn't a question. Ochaco wasn't gone long enough for her to have left the mansion grounds but was gone too long for it to have just been a phone call. And he doubted she would have answered any phone calls from him anyway.

"Yeah, and I sent him packing," Ochaco answered simply. "Izuku you shouldn't have to deal with him. I told you, you should just leave the past behind."

Neither of them raised their voices. Putting their points forward firmly, but with no anger. They were tired of arguing about Bakugo.

"It's not that easy," Izuku told her, matter of factly. "I have to speak to him at some point. If Bakugo went through the trouble of coming all the way here, then he's not just gonna give up. It's not like him."

"Isn't it? I got him to give up before." Ochaco pointed out.

"He never gave up, he just had other things to deal with." Izuku countered. "But he's gonna keep trying, and I'm not hiding in my house anymore. Either I go talk to him. Or he talks to me."

"You can fly faster than he can." Ochaco pointed out. "If you really wanted to you could-"

"But I don't." Izuku stopped her.

The two looked at each other. Ochaco waited to see if Izuku would back down, and Izuku held firm.

"And what are you gonna do. Ask him to be your friend again?" Ochaco harshly, disapproval steeped in her voice.

"No," Izuku said much to Ochaco's shock. "We're gonna talk out of differences like grown men, and then we'll go our separate ways. And I'll tell him to stay away from me, and my family."

"You're going to...just cut all ties with him?" Ochaco didn't know whether to feel elated at that fact or nervous at the coming condition.

"Yeah, and you'll stop this...feud you have with him," Izuku told her. "No more talking about him like he's the scum of the earth. No more casually insulting him. No more banning him from our products. He'll be just another stranger."

Ochaco bit her lip. "Izuku…"

"I'm not saying you have to like him or even stop hating him all at once. But I'm tired of arguing about him." Izuku said, a pleading look in his eyes that made Ochaco's resolve whittle away. "Out of everything he's done, the thing I hate the most about him is all the arguments he caused between us. I don't want that for us. I don't want that for Eri! We've been arguing so much about the Iron Man thing, and I don't want him making it worse! So I have to face him, and fully put the past behind me to make it stop, I will."

Ochaco looked at her husband. The determination burning in his eye. The way he carried himself, the firmness in his voice. It was so different than how he was before.

"You're so much stronger now Izuku," Ochaco said as a tear went down her cheek.

"It couldn't have happened without you Ochaco." Izuku leaned him and held his wife's hands. "You protected me and nurtured me for so long. And I love you for that. But it's time I stood on my own two feet. With you at my side."

A smile crept over Ochaco's face, and a small giggle came out of her. "I was always afraid that once you got as strong as I knew you could be. That I wouldn't be as important to you anymore...I think I was worried for nothing."

"Yeah, you were." Izuku cupped Ochaco's face, and leaned in forward, kissing her.

And that was the end of it.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location.

In a Dark Room, sat a figure on a throne. Watching the news on a holographic screen saying that Whiplash had been captured, and was being taken to Tartarus.

"So, it appears that Midoriya will require more attention than I had thought." The figure said, turning off the Hologram. "No matter. He will fall. As will the rest of those so-called heroes. They will fall before the Legion of Villains."

Chapter 15

Today was not a good day for villains.

Very few days were anymore after the League of Villains fell. But today in particular was not a good day.

Why?

Because the hero, Bakugo Katsuki, Ground Zero. Was absolutely pissed.

KABOOM!

"AHHHHH!" A masked villain ran out of a bank as explosions rang out behind him. Screaming in absolute terror.

From the bank, Bakugo came flying out and glared at the fleeing villain who froze in terror. "Hey! Quit running you shitting villain!"

"AHHHHH!" The villain turned and proceeded to keep running. Try desperately to flee from the enraged explosion hero.

Bakugo was ready to quickly catch and dispatch the villain. However,

PEWM

The villain was suddenly hit with a blue laser from above in the chest. And immediately knocked out.

Bakugo's eyes widened in slight disbelief. Was that-

"Hey, Kacchan."

Bakugo looked up and saw Izuku in his Iron Man armor. Flying above him, looking down.

"...Nerd." Bakugo didn't want to call him Deku. But it didn't feel right to call him by his name either.

"We need to talk," Izuku told him.

A few minutes later.

After handing the villains over to the police, Izuku and Bakugo made their way over to a nearby rooftop, to have their long-awaited conversation. Izuku had taken his helmet off, so they could speak face to face.

"Looks like a round face didn't do too good of a job at keeping you away." Bakugo started the conversation.

"Please don't call her that," Izuku asked politely. Giving a heavy sigh as he realized just how much of his patients this would require. "And I already told her about this. It's been...a long time coming."

"...Tch. You're damn right." Bakugo responded.

Afterward, there was a bit of a pause. It having been many years since they last spoke, and both of them not really being masters of communication.

After a few moments passed, it was Izuku who spoke first.

"Just say what you want to say Kacchan," Izuku told him. "I don't want to leave this rooftop with there still being unfinished business between us."

Bakugo stayed silent for a minute, just leering at him, sizing him up, trying to determine how much of the man standing in front of him was the kid he bullied in middle school.

Eventually, he took a deep breath and then started talking.

"I'm sorry." Bakugo bowed his head in apology. "All that shit I did to you...I'm sorry."

Izuku gave Bakugo the same inspecting leer he gave him. As if trying to see if his apology was genuine.

"Alright. I accept your apology." Izuku figured if Bakugo had gone through all this trouble to talk to him, years of attempts, AND he bowed his head. He MUST be genuine.

"...It really was that easy huh?" Bakugo kinda knew that it might turn out like this. Izuku wasn't one to hold grudges. But it still felt extremely anti-climatic. The whole thing just kinda felt...too easy. "You're not even mad in the slightest aren't you?"

Izuku sighed and took a step back from Bakugo. "I...I've been thinking recently about...how I feel about you. And how that's changed over time. I think...I never really hated you for what you did. Sure after you told me to kill myself I kinda didn't really wanna see you again. But even then what felt was more fear and sadness than anger. When Ochaco kept trying to convince me to hate you, I did start to think of you more negatively. But it never really stuck. I just couldn't bring myself to hate you."

"You just can't bring yourself to hate anyone can you?" Bakugo asked him half-jokingly.

"That's not true. I still absolutely despise Overhaul. I literally had him shot to death." Izuku pointed out.

"So all someone has to do for you to hate them is kidnap you, force you to help out criminals, and kidnap and torture a little girl." Bakugo summarized.

Izuku's eyes went wide and looked at Bakugo with a mix of shock and slight anger. "I never told anyone about her being tortured."

Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Oh fucking, please. We both know you wouldn't have killed him if he did anything less. Honestly, I don't even want to know whatever the hell that bastard did to her. Because for you to go THAT far, it must have been something beyond fucked up."

Izuku looked at Bakugo with suspicion, leveling a warning glare at him.

"I know you're hiding something about her too. Something important. Probably the reason that Yakuza bastard wanted her in the first place." Bakugo revealed.

Izuku's glare hardened, and his repulsors started to give off a threatening hum. "That is none of your business."

Bakugo actually chuckled. "You really are new. Here's a tip. Getting pissed about this. Only tells me I'm right. Let me lay it all out. There's a girl, who is not anywhere on the records, that was being kept by the Yakuza, for reasons that are top secret. On top of that, no one knows what she looks like or what her quirk is, and you've been keeping her as far from everyone as possible. Just that first part would have been enough for people to figure that something out. You add that all together, and anyone with half a brain could figure out something with that kid."

Izuku's glare didn't lessen, but his repulsors powered down. As he thought about what Bakugo said, it could be true. In trying to hide details about Eri so much perhaps, he had actually attracted attention to her.

He would have to look into that.

"Psh. Anyway, you're right. It's none of my business and I don't really give a fuck. Just wanted to tell you this before some stupid asshole get's any funny ideas and does something regrettable." Bakugo told him.

"We aren't here to talk about my daughter. Why don't you just say what you want to say?" Izuku said with a firm tone.

"Fine. Stop this Iron Man bullshit. You're gonna get yourself killed." Bakugo said bluntly, but with the same firmness in his voice that Izuku had.

"Oh, not this again!" Izuku was starting to get tired of this. Over and over again people telling him to stop. "I literally just took down an A-rank villain!"

"One A rank villain!" Bakugo refuted. "And you know what. Fine. If you were just some pro, that would be enough. But you're not some pro. Your the fucking richest person on the face of the planet! You have a target the size of your fucking house on you! And now you made it the size of a fucking skyscraper! I know you said we weren't talking about your kid but for fuck's sake think of your goddamn family!"

"As you said, we're the richest people on the planet. There are more people who'd come to us for that than this." Izuku argued vehemently. "And if you've forgotten, I made that money by making some of the most advanced technology on the planet. That includes weapons and defenses, meaning I have some of the best security on the planet."

"U.A. said that shit all the time, and we both know how bullshit that turned out to be!" Bakugo shot back.

"U.A. just said that but their only real defense was the pro heroes they had on staff. Otherwise, their security was terrible." Izuku pointed out. "I actually have a multi-phase defense system with various precautions and safety measures! It's nothing like U.A.!"

"That's not the fucking point!" Bakugo shouted. "It doesn't matter how fucking how great your fucking defense is, if enough people with enough powerful quirks get together, then they'll fucking get you! And you can't fight for shit without that armor."

"So it's all back to quirks again." Izuku glared. "Listen. I don't care what you say! I'm NOT letting them use my tech to hurt people! And I'm done explaining this to people! Until I find every single villain using and selling my tech, I'm not stopping! So shut it!"

"Gahhhh! Fucking fine! You wanna kill yourself fine! I tried! I really fucking did!" Bakugo relented as he got up and got ready to leave.

"Alright! Stay away from me and my family! Literally, all you do is cause arguments and make people angry!" Izuku shouted at him angrily.

Without another word, Bakugo shot out a powerful explosion, launching him off the building and into the air.

Izuku watched him fly off for a few moments, before putting his helmet back on and flying away in the other direction.

Sometime later, at Bakugo's apartment.

"Fuck!" Bakugo shouted as he slammed open his door, before slamming closed behind him. "Goddamn it!"

I had one fucking chance! All I had to do was apologize for all the shit I did, and then explain to him that he needed to quit this Iron Man shit! And I end up shouting at him and pissing him off by talking about his family goodman it! Bakugo seethed.

While Bakugo had improved mentally over the years, most of that was just him becoming more self-aware. He did very little to fix his ill-temper. Which was unfortunate for many reasons.

Goddamn it! I'm such a fucking idiot! Bakugo thought to himself.

Meanwhile, back at Midoriya manor.

"Damn it I'm such an idiot!" Izuku vented to his wife while he paced around his bedroom. "I was supposed to be the calm one! Try and talk things out, so we could go our separate ways without any issues. And what do I do! I lose my cool, and nothing is resolved. GAH!"

Ochaco shook her head and sighed. "It's Bakugo. There's no reasoning with that guy. No matter what you say any conversation turns into either a screaming match or just him screaming at you. Of course, that bastard would apologize and turn around and talk about our daughter. He's just that much of an asshole."

"Ahhhh." Izuku flopped onto the bed. He didn't even have the energy to argue for Bakugo sake anymore. And honestly, he wasn't even sure he wanted to. He was still kinda pissed he brought up Eri and stuck his nose into something that wasn't his business.

"Still, he had a point about Eri." Ochaco felt like she wanted to vomit when she said that. "I hate saying it, but we don't really have the luxury of people leaving us alone and respecting our privacy. If we hide too many details about Eri then people are gonna start speculating, and given what they DO know, what they speculate could be troublesome for us. I'm thinking we could put out a cover story about why she was with the Yakuza. and maybe "leak" fake information about her quirk to the media. It's not like any of the Yakuza are gonna object, they're all dead."

"Ugh. Well, at least something good came out of this I guess." Izuku sighed. "...This wasn't satisfying...at all."

"Well, not everything in life is," Ochaco said as she laid beside her husband. "Not everything goes the way you think it would. I thought I would be a pro hero. But I learned to be happy with where I am...not that it was that hard. You have to focus on the positives. Look at it this way, you actually got him to say sorry. I don't think many people have ever managed that."

"Yeah...I guess." Izuku was still very dissatisfied with how this all played out.

Ochaco stroked his hair. "Come on, perk up. Eri's gonna be upset if you're all mopey when we head to Mighty World tomorrow."

That did make him feel a bit better hearing that. "Right, I almost forgot about that! Chizome is gonna be ready for tomorrow right."

"Actually he took the day off," Ochaco said. "He said he needed to do something personal...Wonder what it is."

Meanwhile, in the city.

In the darkness of an alleyway located deep in the city, two men were discussing something over a suitcase. Both were in trench coats and were obviously trying to be inconspicuous...however one of them had a huge horn coming out of his head.

"Nice doing business with ya." Said the non-horned man, as he quickly walked away after handing the horned man the suitcase.

Meanwhile, the horned man looked at the suitcase gleefully. "With this, no one is gonna be making fun of the Unicorn!"

"I wouldn't hold my breath." Said a gruff voice from somewhere untraceable.

Unicorn instantly became alert and started frantically looking around. "Who is that!? Show yourself!?"

"You're dead." Said the voice.

Unicorn's eyes widened as he realized where the voice was coming from.

He looked up and saw someone diving down at him with two swords, only a couple feet away from him and closing in fast.

Unicorn was barely able to react, jumping back while shooting a laser from his horn at his attacker.

The attacker blocked the attack with one of his swords, before landing on his feet.

Unicorn unleashed a flurry of lasers from his horn towards his attacker. "I know who you are! Stain the hero killer!"

Stain smirked as he dodged the laser blasts, jumping from wall to wall to avoid them. "Good, I've gotten tired of explaining to scum why they're dying."

The hero killer then threw a ball from one of his pouches at Unicorn, who shot it immediately.

Unfortunately for the horned man, when the ball exploded, a bunch of small blades burst out, cutting him as they flew by, some of them even embedding into his body.

"AGH!" Unicorn shouted out in pain, before glaring at Stain and continuing his attacks. "You son of a bitch!"

"Heh." Stain continued to dodge the blast, before holding up his hand, and a circle started glowing on the back of his armored fist.

Suddenly, the blades were pulled back towards Stain, by the magnetic force of his glove.

When the blades came to the glove, Stain licked them, getting the blood onto his tongue.

And just like that, the battle was over.

Unicorn suddenly felt his body freeze, as he was completely paralyzed. He dropped to the ground, the briefcase dropping as well. "What! W-What can't I move!?"

"Heh." Stain slowly approached Unicorn, putting away his second katana, but keeping the first one in his right hand.

"No! No! Getaway!" Unicorn shouted, his voice full of desperation and fear. It was the sound of a man begging for his life. Music to Stain's ears.

"You put up more of a fight than I expected from someone named Unicorn." Stain was now standing over Unicorn. "But you were always going to fall by my hand."

The hero killer looked past Unicorn at the briefcase.

Stain stabbed the katana into the ground, right next to Unicorn's head, before crouching down to pick up the briefcase. "Now what's this?"

His tone told Unicorn that Stain already knew the answer to this. And the smirk on his face as he opened it up confirmed it.

Inside the case was a helmet, made seemingly specifically for Unicorn, as it had a harness for his horn.

"A specialized helmet made to enhance the power of your lasers." Stain explained. "Made by stolen technology from Midoriya Industries. Now, why would a pro hero go through the trouble of buying stolen Midoriya tech on the black market, when he could just pay for it and receive it the normal way?"

"Fuck you!" Unicorn shouted at him.

"Oh right, Unicorn, aka Kuso Tare. Banned from receiving Midoriya Industries technology, after it came to light you were abusing your daughter." Stain smirked as he saw the rage on the face of his soon-to-be victim.

"Those accusations were false! They dropped the claims!" Unicorn argued.

"They dropped the claims because the hero public safety commission paid them off, and told them to keep it quiet." Stain retorted, placing the device on his belt, holding it there using a strong magnet. "And everyone knew it."

"Grrr," Unicorn growled at him.

"Hmm. Growling like a dog." Stain picked his blade back up and raised it over his head. "Fitting last word for someone like you."

Stain swung his sword downward, ready to kill.

BRRRRRRRRR

But Unicorn had other plans. He shot out a powerful beam from his horn, propelling his paralyzed body away from Stain just as the sword was about to cut his head off.

"Tch. Clever bastard." Stain turned around and saw the Unicorn had already zipped out of the alleyway. "Damn it, me and my speeches."

Quickly Stain dashed out of the alleyway, hoping that he hadn't screwed the pooch on this one.

"Help! Help! The hero killer is after me! He paralyzed me! Help!" Unicorn shouted to get people's attention. This was of course effective, as people started panicking and screaming.

Unfortunately for Unicorn, he could only go in one direction right now, so eventually he stopped moving forward once he bumped into a wall.

Stain ran up to the still paralyzed hero, intent on finishing this.

He jumped up, and as he was coming down on the hero with his blade aimed for his head-

KRRRRRRRRRR!

Suddenly Red Riot jumped in and blocked the sword with his hardened body. Saving Unicorn from an untimely end.

Damn it! Stain jumped back before Kirishima could try and counterattack. "Red Riot."

"Hero killer! About time we put you in Tartarus!" Kirishima's fists clashed together, showing off the hardness of his body.

"If you're gonna take me, then you should take that fake there too." Stain said, before taking the helmet and throwing it in front of Kirishima. "If not for the fact that he abused his daughter, then for purchasing stolen goods."

Kirishima looked at the helmet. "Wait a minute...is this-"

PSSHHHHH!

While the hardening hero was distracted, Stain threw down a smoke bomb, obscuring Kirishima's sight.

Red Riot immediately ran and picked up Unicorn, before running out of the smoke.

And when the smoke dispersed, Stain was gone.

Later on a rooftop.

"Fuck." Stain cursed.

This wasn't the first hero that managed to escape him. It was a rare occurrence, but it happened.

And it pissed him off every time.

No time to throw a tantrum. Stain told himself. I have other matters to attend to.

Like his boss going on a little vacation.

Normally he didn't like it when heroes went on vacation, but Izuku had earned it after working so tirelessly for all those months.

And it wasn't just for Izuku. It was for Eri too. That poor girl needed something like this.

So Chizome would make sure that anyone who tried to interrupt this family fun time, would have their head promptly severed from their necks.
