Saul placed his hand on Yakumo. The light of the Mystical Palm Ninjutsu seeped into her chest.
When he inspected her body previously with the Mystical Palm during one of her sick periods, Saul found nothing. There was no specific bacteria within her that could be found, no virus causing her cells to explode one after another. Yet Yakumo's body had been mysteriously killing parts of itself off. The damage it caused was reminiscent of Sayuri's, but it was mainly concentrated in Yakumo's organs rather than the extremities.
Saul could not heal that at all before. But now...
The man slowly adjusted the chakra within the medical palm, slowly injecting more and more of his will. It took a while to get back into that mysterious state he first entered into when he barely succeeded in saving Neji's life.
Before him lay a portion of Yakumo's spirit. The localized area where his chakra ran through. It was nothing miraculous like his experience with Neji. That wondrous state of enlightenment where the spirit before him revealed all of its secrets, if he'd only ask. That stupid proctor had interrupted his moment of inspiration.
Now it was much more difficult to get the 'blueprint' of how she should be healed. How her body should be crafted. Her spirit communicated much more vaguely to him. It was only very clear and accurate if he made a mistake. The 'blunder' would instantly be known by her body, and he was practically 'shouted' at to correct it. This wasted a bunch of chakra simply by having to heal the same parts multiple times, and he had to be slow and meticulous to avoid missing anything.
The actual healing of her body was much more difficult than Sayuri's as well. Saul had to expend a tremendous amount of chakra to compensate for deficiencies he didn't quite understand. It wasn't a nutritional problem. Her body had plenty of resources to build itself back up readily available. Yet, each cell had to be infused to the brim with chakra to even be considered remotely sufficient.
Saul had almost exhausted all of his chakra barely even a fraction of the way through the treatment. He would have to get a refill from Karin before he made his way to the hospital. Saul made more chakra at the expense of becoming tired, and continued the treatment. Her organs were too difficult to heal at the moment. Now he just focused on the more minor symptoms, such as the dead cells that lined her throat. This would at the very least get rid of her cough.
"Yakumo. How are you feeling?"
"Hmmm..." She smiled up at his face, dripping sweat, "Much, much better."
『 He looks so handsome while he's like this... 』
Yakumo nodded along in agreement. She just wanted to reach up and kiss him.
However, Saul's eyes widened. What was that?
『 Boo 』
He jumped up, cancelling the Mystical Palm Ninjutsu. Saul and Yakumo both looked at each other blankly.
『 He can hear us. 』
Saul didn't react this time to Id's words. Yakumo however, got up and smiled awkwardly.
"That was Id. Don't mind her, she's just a little mischievous."
Interesting...
"Don't worry about it Yakumo; I was just surprised that's all. Does... 'she' always talk in your head like that?"
The brown haired woman nodded. "Yeah. I got used to it after a while. She's asking if you can hear her speaking now?"
Saul shook his head. "No, I could only hear 'her' when I was healing you with the Mystical Palm."
Was it a part of the new will to will exchange? Where, by the principles of Genjutsu, he communicated with the will within her body to accurately heal it? It seems Id was connected somehow directly to this will.
Yakumo looked to the side awkwardly, before the cylindrical object draped under a white sheet resting on the table caught her eye. She changed the subject.
"So, what did you bring me? I have to say, its presence has been piquing my interest. You wouldn't keep a lady in suspense, would you?"
Saul teased under his breath, "...Handsome, huh?"
Yakumo blushed while looking up at the man she loved. He had been straddling her hips to heal her. The position reminded her of other times past. Even though they had done it a few days prior, to Yakumo it felt like such a long time. She wanted him to spread her legs and see her. All of her. She rubbed her thighs instinctively together before shaking her head. It was the morning. She was sick. And she didn't even know if this was a shadow clone. Now was not the time.
"O-of course! Don't change the subject, just show me already!"
Saul grinned. He decided not to tease her any longer and simply removed the white sheet covering the vase. The sweet, light aroma of flowers wafted out as Yakumo stared at the multicolored assortment. This man. How did he know?
"You knew I was sick? How?"
"Didn't I tell you? This morning I asked Hinata to check up on you before I came to visit. I was thinking about you, Yakumo."
Her heart sweetened at the thought. She picked up a yellow sunflower from the bouquet and admired its beauty.
"Is this you Saul? Is this the real you?"
Saul nodded. "It's always the real me, but today I came here personally. Otherwise I would not have been able to generate more chakra midway through healing you."
Yakumo didn't hold herself back any longer. She grabbed the man by his collar and pulled him down on top of her. Then she began kissing him fiercely. Her soft, smooth lips pressed against his, and Saul could feel each warm, hungry breath from her mouth. She devoured him with her tongue, giving his tongue gentle, warm licks that betrayed her inner need.
Her legs reached up and wrapped around his back. She pressed him into her lithe, delicate body. His groin rubbed against her clothed nethers and made her leak out small, sweet moans. Yakumo's heels pressed into his back, trying to bring him even closer.
Just before they both completely lost control, Saul's clone came back with their breakfast. He looked at himself with disdain. He had important plans for today - they could not be missed for a moment of pleasure.
"Breakfast is ready."
He dispelled himself and his memories remerged with the original, bringing back a moment of clarity. Saul gave Yakumo a chaste kiss on the forehead before sitting back up. The woman looked back at him from the couch. Her face was flushed, her legs were completely spread apart, and her cloudy gaze stared at him blankly.
"Let's eat, Yakumo. I'll come visit you later tonight, and we can pick up where we left off. For now let's control ourselves, alright?"
"Mmm."
The brown eyed woman nodded, although her gaze held a slight trace of resentment. Saul sighed. Sometimes, this woman seemed much more horny than even he was! Hinata didn't have much of a sexual appetite in comparison, always preferring to be held and intimately close instead. Yakumo however, her seemingly chaste appearance and ideals were all for show. She was also scarily horny at times, even doing crazy things just to satisfy her needs.
Saul wondered, was he really making the right decision by delaying things here?
