Turin, Italy
In an Italian orphanage, we see a nearly 5-year-old boy sitting under a tree, reading a book. At a glance, you can tell that this boy has great genetics; his hair is white as snow and silky as if they are divine threads which could be used to weave the robes of angels. His icy blue eyes held a taint of warmth in them. Currently, he is reading the holy bible and greeting the nuns who came into his field of vision. This boy's name is Leon, and he is quite famous among the nuns and kids of the orphanage. He has the aura of kindness and compassion around him, which made it easier for other kids to approach him. For nuns, he was a little bundle of sunshine, always finding ways to make them laugh, helping with errands whenever he can, and sometimes pulling harmless pranks on the orphanage staff and getting away from punishment using his cuteness as a weapon. Currently, he is sitting in the shade of a tree in the garden while a nun comes up to him.
Nun: Alex, reading bible again?
Alex: Good afternoon, sister Martha. Is there anything I can help you with?
Martha: Not at all, dear. There is a couple who wants to adopt you.
Hearing this, Alex became happy. Having a family is something every kid in the orphanage always wanted. They always wanted to know how it feels to have parents who care for you. They want to feel a mother's warmth, a father's love, and a place to return at the end of the day.
Alex: Well, when will we meet them?
Martha(smiling): Oh, already excited to meet your new family. Well, they are waiting in my office. We should go there and meet them.
Alex and Martha stood up the moved towards the office of head nun Martha. Reaching the office, they saw almost every nun was present there to bid there goodbye to Alex.
Inside the office, they saw a man and a woman in their 30s standing there. Alex understood that they are his future parents.
After the pleasant exchange, the man started to fill out the necessary documents for adoption and took Alex with him.
Alex was happy that he got a family to live with, but little did he know that this was the beginning of the worst thing that could happen to him.
