The flames of battle had faded, but Liu Feng knew peace wouldn't last.
He stood at the ruins of the battlefield where Flame Valkyrie Iris had fallen. Around him, the heat slowly cooled, the air filled with ash and glowing fragments.
Suddenly, his instincts screamed.
He ducked.
SWOOSH!
A blade sliced through the air where his neck had been.
He rolled forward and looked up.
Two shadows stood before him, silent and deadly.
They were identical tall, slim, dressed in black and white battle suits.
One had long silver hair tied into a braid Yin.
The other had jet-black hair and glowing red eyes Yang.

"Liu Feng," Yin said.
"You are marked," Yang finished.
They both vanished.

But they were fast,too fast.
Even with Liu Feng's current agility, they were moving like ghosts.
A dagger nicked his ribs.

Then one struck from behind. He barely blocked it.
CLANG!
Still, the force pushed him into a wall.
"Damn," Liu Feng muttered. "They're syncing."
The Reaper Sisters moved like a dance perfect rhythm. When one struck, the other followed. Their attacks came from blind angles, forcing him on the defensive.
He activated Void Fang Spear, swinging in wide arcs, but only hit shadows.

He needed to split them up.
He jumped and slammed the ground with Gravity Zone.

The ground cracked. One of the twins Yin stumbled.

He dashed toward her with a full-powered Energy Pulse Thrust.

Yin hissed, retreating.
But Yang appeared behind him and slashed across his back.

"Time to burn," Yang whispered.
She unleashed a Fire Blade Dance, flames swirling around her as she slashed rapidly.
Liu Feng jumped back, avoiding most but still took damage.

He gritted his teeth.
Then… he smiled.
"Thanks for the fire."

The fire healed him instead of burning him.
Yang's eyes narrowed.
"Impossible."
Liu Feng activated Shadow Split, creating four clones.
Each clone struck from a different angle.
The real Liu Feng attacked from above with Bone Edge Spear wrapped in Void Energy.

Yang crashed backward into rubble, stunned.
Yin screamed and dashed in to defend her sister.
But Liu Feng was ready.
He pulled a black sphere from his pocket.
"Let's test this."

The explosion created a mini gravity collapse, pulling both sisters apart.
Yin went left. Yang went right.
Perfect.

Liu Feng rushed to finish the stunned Yang first.

His spear pierced through her armor.

Yang's eyes widened in shock.
Then turned dim.

From above – a concentrated blue laser beam fell.

The ice shattered.
Yin fell, coughing blood, half-frozen, half-burned.
Liu Feng stood over her.
"You're strong. But you came for the wrong man."
With one final thrust, he ended it.
