Synopsis
Zinnith Aster never believed in fate-until a thunderstorm, a broken phone signal, and an old heirloom sent her spiraling back in time. Waking up on a dirt path in the 1800s, Zin finds herself stranded in Hughes Village, a world of corsets, carriages, and outdated expectations. Quick-witted and unapologetically modern, she sticks out like a sore thumb. Evan Andrew Parish, the guarded son of prominent figures Julia Greece Deline-Parish and Edmund James Parish, is used to following rules. But everything changes when he nearly tramples a strange woman in the middle of the road. Zin's sharp tongue and bold defiance intrigue him-though her presence stirs echoes of secrets his family would rather keep buried. As Zin struggles to survive in the past, she begins to uncover links between her missing father and the Parish family's shadowed history. With each clue, her connection with Evan deepens, but so does the danger. Villagers grow wary. The artifact glows again. And when a stranger arrives claiming to know the truth about time itself, Zin realizes her journey isn't an accident-it's a cycle repeating. Caught between two centuries and torn between staying or returning, Zin must decide whether love is worth rewriting history. But as timelines collide and sacrifice looms, one truth becomes clear: the past doesn't let go so easily. Time can be bent. Love can anchor it. But fate demands a price.

Chapter 1 - A Letter to You

Hey!

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for checking out my very first novel. Writing has always been something I've loved—whether it was scribbling ideas in notebooks, daydreaming characters, or imagining whole worlds in my head. For the longest time, I kept it all to myself… but I finally decided it was time to share it.

This story is a mix of everything I enjoy—time travel, mystery, slow-burn romance, and characters who challenge the rules. It's been so fun to bring it to life and let it out into the world.

I'm new to all of this, and I'm learning as I go, but I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thanks for giving this little piece of my imagination a chance—it really means a lot. 💛

I only uploaded the first five chapters for now, just to see if you guys liked where the story is going in the comments.

Here's to stories, time travel, and maybe rewriting fate.
