"So where is Elder Cui?"
Tian Ruhai asked since most of them had already arrived. Even Xiao Canglan, who was busy writing the proper response for the rejection, had arrived and was seated on his seat with similar bewilderment as the others.
"No idea.." Qin Ruoxuan shook her head.
"What are the chances that she had called us again to discuss just the proposal?"
Zhao Tianheng had just said that when Cui Shuyin entered the pavilion.
"There is no need to speculate on that, Elder Zhao. I would have never summoned you all for something unnecessary like that.."
Cui Shuyin took her seat calmly.
Xiao Canglan's lips twitched slightly, was she implying that his summoning them for the marriage proposal was worthless?
"Then why have you summoned us again, Elder Cui.." Duan Lie was curious.
The others also looked at Cui Shuyin with similar curiosity, just what had happened in the few moments after her leaving from the last gathering that she had to call them back..
