"Understood, understood. We're with Sister Li."
Ash and his group each picked up a basket. Inside were thirty peculiar, vibrant green Poké Balls.
Beside them lay some Bait, which could increase the capture rate.
They were each even temporarily loaned an Old Rod for fishing inside the Safari Zone.
"By the way, sir, I heard there are Dratini here. I plan on fishing for a few. Do you know where they usually appear?"
Ash asked innocently.
Unexpectedly, this sentence seemed to hit a sore spot with the old cowboy. His expression drastically changed, turning exceptionally angry. He even raised a hand, pulling a revolver from his waist, and aimed to shoot the three of them.
"Sir, calm down!"
Acting on subconscious Muscle Memory, Ash delivered a straight kick, hitting the grip of the pistol. The old cowboy couldn't hold on, and the gun went flying.
The gun traced a perfect parabola through the air, landing in Ash's hand.
The tables had turned.
Ash quickly raised the gun, explaining with the best of intentions:
"Calm down, we're the good guys."
Kaiser: "…"
This kid… he's quick on his feet.
Disarmed in an instant, the old cowboy named Kaiser flushed, hurriedly snatching his gun back, and said impatiently:
"Hmph, there are no Dratini here. If you're looking for Dratini, then don't bother going in."
"That's not right. Isn't there a photo of a Dratini here? This middle-aged man must be you, right?"
Ash quickly spotted a photo in a photo frame in the room. It was a younger version of Kaiser, with a small, blue and white snake-like Pokémon.
"Hmph. In any case, there aren't any."
This time, Kaiser simply withdrew into his shell like a Squirtle and directly herded the three of them into the Safari Zone without another word.
Watching their figures gradually disappear into the distant bushes, Kaiser's gaze softened once more.
"Dratini, I won't let anyone disturb you."
He whispered, his thoughts drifting back to the past.

"Dratini? What kind of Pokémon is that?"
"It seems to be an incredible Pokémon, meow."
"Its final Evolved Form is Dragonite. Even in our Team Rocket, it's an exceptionally rare Pokémon."
On the roof of Kaiser's Wooden House, two people and a cat were whispering, as if they had just overheard some incredible information.
"I heard there's a Dragonite within Team Rocket, who became a Team Rocket Executive as a Pokémon. It's always been Meowth's role model, meow."
"Oh, oh, oh, I remember! It's that Dragonite in Celadon City, right? It has superb massage and chiropractic skills, handles heavy tasks with ease, and its status is extremely high. Even Giovanni has to queue up for an appointment. Everyone is treated equally."
The three of them exchanged a look of tacit understanding, a complete plan instantly formed in their minds.
Catch the Dratini and have it evolve.
Then, train it to become Giovanni's Private Technician!
In Meowth's fantasy, a shirtless Giovanni was lying on a bed, his body covered in essential oils. A Dragonite was flapping its wings, furiously using the "Stomp" move on his back.
"And then Giovanni will say, meow, 'To be able to train such a powerful Dragonite for my personal wellness session… Meowth and the others have done a great job. I'm going to give them a promotion and a raise!'"
Meowth said with a laugh. The three of them grew fired up and shot to their feet at the same time, their future looking bright.
"Crack, RUMBLE!!"
The Wooden House couldn't withstand the exaggerated movements of the three, and a hole broke open. The trio suddenly fell through from above once again.
Simply put, the house was no good.
"Who's there?!"
The nostalgic Kaiser leaped to his feet, startled by the Team Rocket trio falling from the sky.
"Did I hear someone ask 'Who's there'?"
"I'd love to tell you, out of the goodness of my heart."
"But we're on vacation today, so we won't!"
As soon as they landed, Jessie and James immediately struck a pose they had rehearsed countless times. It was very cool, but their opening line had gotten shorter.
"Hey, old man, I heard everything. There's a Dratini here."
"If you know what's good for you, tell us where the Dratini is, and fast."
"We're very scary, you know, meow!"
The three of them put on fierce, sinister expressions as they closed in on Kaiser, stating their purpose bluntly.
"So you're just some petty thieves after the Dratini."
Kaiser didn't hold back. He once again pulled the revolver from his waist, intending to teach the trio a lesson with gunfire.
Before, he had only meant to scare Ash's group, but these three in front of him seemed like real villains. In that case, he wouldn't be polite.
Staring at the jet-black pistol, the Team Rocket trio first froze, then threw their heads back and roared with laughter. This reaction left Kaiser rather baffled.
"K-chak!"
The next second, James's expression changed instantly, becoming incredibly fierce and sinister. He pulled an RPG rocket launcher directly from his crotch and hoisted it onto his shoulder. The diameter of the launcher was a full ten times that of the pistol, and he pressed it against Kaiser's head.
The muzzle was even bigger than Kaiser's head.
"You dare to compare arsenals with us, Team Rocket?"
"Don't you know that the Pokémon League's arms are all secretly supplied by us, Team Rocket?"
"You're really making Meowth laugh, you know."
The trio spoke with extreme arrogance.
They might be lacking in other areas, but when it came to firepower, no one could compare to Team Rocket!!
"Hmph, last chance. Spit out the Dratini's location now, or my Italian cannon is going to fire!"
Completely terrified by the rocket launcher pointed at him, Kaiser panicked. What kind of cowboy has ever seen an RPG? But he still lifted his head, his expression like that of a martyr about to die for a cause.
"I won't tell you! So you might as well kill me!"
"Yoho, you really think I don't have the guts to kill you? I kill ten old geezers like you every day!"
James, having a bit of a short fuse himself, then passed the rocket launcher into Jessie's hands.
"But I've already killed my ten for the day, old man. I've had my fill. Jessie, you do it."
Jessie: "?"
She, in turn, tossed the rocket launcher into Meowth's hands.
"I'm an elegant actress, I always stab people in the back. I'd never use a low-class weapon like a rocket launcher!"
Meowth: "?"
Although it had never killed anyone either, it still had to put on a ferocious and menacing look.
"In that case, we're going to use Team Rocket's ultimate torture on you, meow…"
***
In the Safari Zone, Ash's group was naturally unaware of Team Rocket's invasion at the entrance. They were blissfully making their way deeper inside.
"Pokedex Beep. Rhyhorn, a dime-a-dozen Pokémon. Take it or leave it."
A Rhyhorn with a silver back, chewing on grass, appeared in their sight. Its demeanor was extraordinary, which immediately made Ash want to catch it.
Among his Pokémon, it seemed he was missing a few fierce-looking ones!
"I choose you, Safari Ball!"
After stealthily approaching to within three meters, he suddenly leaped out in front of the Rhyhorn. The Rhyhorn was so startled the blade of grass it was eating got stuck in its teeth. Ash quickly threw a vibrant green Poké Ball at it.
"RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE!!"
The Safari Ball was halfway through its arc when, in the blink of an eye, a large herd of sharp-horned yellow bulls suddenly stampeded in front of Ash, completely shielding the Rhyhorn in their midst.
Ash: "?"
The Scalper Gang's stampede even included Ash. Endless iron hooves trampled Ash into the ground, kicking up a cloud of yellow dust.
"K-krak k-krak."
This was the sound of bone cracking.
Wouldn't you know it, this once again made Ash recall the time in Celadon City… the Dragonite's chiropractic massage.
"K-krak k-krak."
