The Ghost and The Blade (III)

Yuujin vs. Joongoo – Round 2

Yuujin started to warm up—just ones and twos, light jabs, foot tapping on concrete.

Joongoo wasn't far behind. He spun his blades, performing Shadow Slashes with both swords, his stance coiled, sharp like a spring.

And then—without a signal, without a word—they clashed.

Joongoo moved first.

> "Nitoryu [Twin Blades Style]: First Form – First Moon."

A barrage of sword stabs—precise, rapid, fucking lethal.

The first stab came straight for Yuujin's heart—

Clang!

Blocked—Yuujin deflected it with his Iron Bangle. Sparks flew.

But the second stab? Right to the liver.

Shhk!

Yuujin flinched, pulled back. Blood started to trickle down his side.

He made distance, glanced at the wound—minor, but it burned.

Didn't matter.

Joongoo was already there.

> "Second Form – Crescent Moon!"

A sharp slash aimed to cleave.

Yuujin dodged barely in time. The blade sliced air, not skin—but the wind pressure left a sting.

Yuujin was panting now. Blood dripped, sticking to his chest and arms.

He inhaled. Deep. Slow. Changed his stance.

No more Boxing.

This was time for Taekwondo now.

Joongoo didn't give a shit. He lunged for the kill.

But Yuujin ran at him—closed the distance—and then…

Jumped.

Joongoo stopped. Tried to block.

WHAM!

A 360° flying kick slammed into him.

His guard cracked, grip loosened. First hit from Yuujin—and it hurts like shit.

Yuujin didn't wait.

Karate stance.

Boom! A right punch to Joongoo's jaw.

Dhish! One to the ribs.

Another hit—same jaw again. Joongoo staggered.

Yuujin moved like he didn't feel pain. Like he didn't care.

One more straight Karate punch—Joongoo tried to block with his elbow—

SNAP!

"AGHHH—!!"

Joongoo shouted in pain.

His right arm broke clean.

Still, he didn't collapse.

He stood. Sword trembling in his left hand, blood flowing from his mouth.

Yuujin was swaying too—his body open with wounds, dripping blood.

He made space.

This was it. One final hit.

Joongoo couldn't move. Broken bones. Ribs gone. Muscles torn.

He didn't care. He stood tall, both feet planted.

Yuujin ran forward.

Jumped.

Spun once.

Twice.

Three times—

FOUR.

Everyone in the space , saw a 1440° Backspin Kick, but only Joongoo saw it, A beautiful form, but it wasn't 1440° Backspin Kick, it was 1440°, Quadruple Brazilian Backspin Kick.

Joongoo didn't see it, but he felt it.

His instincts screamed—if I don't block this, I die.

So he dropped everything—sword, sheath—and raised his arms. Even the broken one.

And—

BAAAAM!

The arena echoed.

Dust flew.

Cracks formed on the ground.

And when it settled—

Yuujin Jin was standing. Silent. Cold.

It was the The Perfect Bastard's victory.

But...Joongoo was still trying to get up.

Both arms? Shattered.

Shoulder? Broken.

Collarbone? Snapped.

Still, he laughed.

"You're the first trying to stand after getting hit by that," Yuujin said.

"Are you still going to fight?",Yuujin asked.

Joongoo laughed louder.

"You know...what I was called before?"

He grinned—blood dripping from his teeth.

"The Weapon Genius!."

"You asked if I'm still going to fight?"

"Of course I am, motherfucker."

He raised his broken, limp arm,and continued.

"They said anything in my hand could become a weapon."

"So..."

"Why can't my broken arm be one?"

Yuujin blinked. Unmoved. Took his stance again.

"You haven't told me your name."

Joongoo scoffed.

"You still don't know?"

He yelled, blood spraying from his lips—

"IT'S JOONGOO KIM!!"

Yuujin nodded.

"Very well."

They were about to go again—Round 3. One more round. Final breath.

But then—

A hand dropped on Joongoo's shattered shoulder.

A calm, heavy voice.

"You should rest, Joongoo."
