Chapter 215 - Chapter 214: "Welcome to Transformer's Universe"

Chapter 214: "Welcome to Transformer's Universe"

However, each layer of shielding weakened the incoming beams. The automated systems rapidly cycled new barriers into place.

The enemy fire didn't penetrate all defenses. After piercing hundreds of shield layers, the beams lost power and dissipated into the void.

The Human Empire, under attack, fired back with destructive weapons of their own. Explosions and energy beams lit up the entire combat zone. Tens of millions of kilometers became a battlefield dense with gunfire and the fireballs of detonations.

Astartes warriors, implanted with gene-seed, moved through the void in powered armor, fiercely engaging the massive Transformers. Both sides fought desperately in an evenly matched struggle. Sometimes an Astartes fell. Sometimes a Transformer was destroyed.

"For Lion El'Jonson! For the Human Empire!"

Dark Angel Astran charged toward the enemy, his longsword covered in a tearing field. The blade swept across a Transformer, splitting the massive body in two. A silent explosion appeared. Shockwaves swept outward.

[KILLS +1]

The kill notification appeared in his helmet.

Astran adjusted his posture and accelerated continuously, crashing into another Transformer like a meteor.

That Transformer was a thousand meters tall and possessed incredibly sturdy shields. Weapons equipped by the Astartes only caused ripples when they struck its body. Even employing various rule-based attacks failed due to insufficient computing power.

[ESTABLISHING COLLISION MODEL, COMPRESSING PROTECTIVE FORCE FIELD, INCREASING PROTECTIVE FORCE FIELD STRENGTH]

Dense notification sounds appeared continuously.

Astran paid no heed. His eyes were fixed solely on the target, his will firm and unwavering.

Finally, he pierced through the Transformer's shield like a sharp blade, penetrating its body. The moment he penetrated the opponent's body, the impact force sent him flying out with countless metal fragments, scattering into the void.

[KILLS +1]

Another kill notification sounded.

Astran slowed down, finally stopping in the void. Before he could survey the battlefield, a bright beam swept over, hitting his body and sending him flying thousands of kilometers.

"Are these guys unkillable?" Astran looked up and saw a dense mass of Transformers.

"They have a repair program," Luther's voice echoed in Astran's ear. "Those destroyed Transformers will be recovered, implanted with new fire sources, and then deployed back to the battlefield."

"Does that mean they can revive infinitely?" Astran's heart sank. "If so, how long will this war last?"

"The enemy is using an artifact called the AllSpark to revive themselves infinitely. Three Primarchs have already gone to deal with it. As long as they can defeat the enemy's leader, this problem can be resolved," Luther said.

"This battle is really bad," Astran mumbled.

He turned his head to look into the depths of the void. The most crucial battle was erupting there. Three Primarchs were engaging a massive Transformer. The power unleashed by both sides was earth-shattering. The surrounding spacetime was shattered, and winds of nothingness raged.

"Our reinforcements are here," Luther's words drew Astran's attention back, making him somewhat curious.

Besides the Astartes, what other units did the Human Empire have that could contend with these massive mechanical lifeforms?

Just then, beams of light flew out from the fortress, landing on the void battlefield. They were Imperial Giants created using light conversion technology. They had never been deployed in their home universe, only entering the battlefield for the first time in the Transformers Universe.

Every candidate for a Light Giant was an absolutely loyal Imperial elite.

Unlike the Ultraman Universe's giants, who draw power from emotions like love and hope, the Imperial Giants' power comes from loyalty. The more loyal, the stronger their power.

The combat effectiveness of the Imperial Giants was beyond doubt. They possessed excellent combat skills and complex light-based abilities. Enough to contend with the Transformers.

The Imperial Giants joined the battlefield and quickly turned the tide.

But the enemy's numbers were endless, and the Imperial army could only adopt a defensive stance.

The fortress itself also fell into a chaotic battle. Some smaller Transformers infiltrated, intending to destroy the fortress from within, thereby paralyzing the Human Empire's firepower and shields.

"These carbon-based guys are really annoying."

Transformer Laserbeak raised two high-energy laser cannons and opened fire on the Human Empire defenders.

"They just won't quit," another companion said.

Laserbeak grabbed a gravity grenade. "Let's show them what we've got. Carbon-based life can't match us."

Suddenly, an energy wave rippled through the corridor. Both Transformers' sensors went haywire.

"Wait, something's wrong—"

Laserbeak looked up. A giant glowing red stood at the end of the corridor.

Before he could process the threat, psychic energy slammed forward.

Zzzzt! Crack!

Steel bodies crumpled like tin cans. Electrical arcs jumped between broken circuits. Lubricant sprayed everywhere.

"Well, slag," Laserbeak transmitted over comms to his squad.

A second later, the psychic wave crushed him into a compacted ball of scrap. His spark ejected, data-streaming back to the AllSpark for reinstantiation.

The one who arrived was Magnus.

He held a staff, clad in crimson armor, and with a casual wave, unleashed surging psychic power. The Transformers in his path were destroyed before they could even resist.

After eliminating all the Transformers within his field of vision, Magnus walked to the viewport and looked out at the battlefield. At this moment, the entire void was engulfed in war. The outer fortress had been breached and was slowly disintegrating in the flames.

"Is this the War of the Heavens!" Magnus mused.

The Human Empire's technology and military power were considered top-tier in their home universe. Upon arriving in the Transformers Universe, they still couldn't distance themselves from the mechanical lifeforms here.

The Human Empire had the Emperor, and the Transformers also had the Cosmic Emperor.

The Human Empire had Primarchs, and the Transformers also had the Thirteen Primes.

"I wonder how long this war will last!"

Magnus looked into the depths of the void. Lion El'Jonson, Sanguinius, and Guilliman were fiercely battling the leader of the Transformers—Sentinel Prime.

"New reinforcements are coming."

"A new Primarch has also arrived, the recently returned Nineteenth."

The voice from the core command center echoed in the comms, pulling Magnus's attention back from the distant void battlefield.

"A new Primarch?" Magnus waved his staff, opening a teleportation channel, and stepped through, directly arriving at the Space-Time Gate platform.

The Space-Time Gate was incredibly magnificent; even dozens of battleships side-by-side could easily pass through.

The Human Empire had sent more military units and warships to support the three Primarchs.

"Are you the Nineteenth Primarch who has just returned? Welcome to the Transformers Universe."

Magnus immediately found Corax among the supporting Imperial personnel. The aura of a Primarch was truly too conspicuous in a crowd.

Corax also scrutinized his brother.

"My name is Corax."

"My name is Magnus, the Fifteenth."

"I've read your data; it says you possess incredible psychic power."

"Yes, among all the Primarchs, I possess the strongest psychic power," Magnus said with a proud expression.

The two conversed for a while.

Magnus then led Corax to the core command center.

The Human Empire had deployed hundreds of proton observers, giving a clear view of the entire battlefield. Numerous battlefield scenes were being displayed on projection screens before the high-ranking Imperial officers.

As soon as Corax entered the command center, he was captivated by the images on the projection. Especially the scene of Lion El'Jonson, Sanguinius, and Guilliman battling Sentinel Prime.

In the vast and boundless void, the three Primarchs all revealed their gigantic forms. Their entire bodies radiated light. Like three deities who had emerged from ancient times, their divine might was unrivaled. Just looking at them made one feel immense pressure.

With every gesture, they unleashed unimaginable world-destroying power.
