Junghoon turned on the heater before climbing onto the bed, pulling the omega close.
"Relax," he murmured, kissing his temple. "We can leave it for another day if you're not—"
"No," Jihoon cut in, inhaling deeply. He snuggled closer to the alpha. "I have to get it… off my chest. Otherwise, I'll always be stuck in the past."
Junghoon hummed in quiet understanding.
"I was afraid you'd… judge me for the things I've done," Jihoon whispered.
He exhaled shakily. "My hands are stained with the blood of innocents. I have… hurt people."
Junghoon brushed a thumb over his arm. "I'm not a saint either, baby. I've killed people too."
He let out a soft chuckle. "I'm the leader of a mafia. That alone disqualifies me from judging anyone's past."
Jihoon felt something loosen in his chest at the other's words. "Thank you… for standing by me."
The alpha kissed his temple again. "There's no need to thank me. I'm always here for you."
