"Hi," a voice whispered beside Jihoon, and the omega turned, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.
"Hello to you too, Mr. Shin," he said dryly.
Hangyeol smiled, twirling his glass of wine. "It seems I've done something to make you despise me."
Jihoon backtracked. "It's not like that..."
The other smiled in understanding. "Jealousy is a very disturbing emotion. But it fits us well."
The omega frowned. "How did you know—"
"Of course I know." Hangyeol chuckled. "It's an emotion I've carried for three years now."
"Ever since I started dating Hyoshin."
Jihoon hummed thoughtfully. It seemed he had judged the other too fast. But he wasn't going to apologize for his emotions.
As if reading his mind, Hangyeol spoke. "You don't need to apologize or anything."
"I wasn't planning to," the omega replied. Sue him, but he felt a bit cocky.
The other chuckled. "I think we'll get along really well."
Jihoon brightened at the prospect of making a new friend. "Quick question, though."
