Junghoon lifted the unconscious omega into his arms. He glanced at his guests. "Meeting's over. See yourselves out."
Without waiting for a response, the alpha strode out of the study, no doubt leaving them fuming.
But he didn't care.
"Get the doctor," Junghoon ordered Mark as he entered his room, gently placing Jihoon on the bed.
"Who did this to you?" he whispered, tracing a finger along the omega's cheek.
The doctor burst through the door, panting slightly. "I'm so sorry for the delay," she said. It was obvious she had run all the way here.
Junghoon barely spared her a glance, his face a stony mask. "Get to work, Jihye."
She nodded and approached the bed, setting her first aid kit down.
Silence hung heavy in the room as Jihye gently cleaned Jihoon's injuries. The smell of blood made the alpha clench his jaw, eyes flickering with barely controlled rage.
The omega didn't stir at all, his exhaustion evident in his sleep.
