In the aftermath of battle, King Kaitya Kiarata stepped forward and cast a shimmering barrier:
"Water Veil — Circle 56."
The veil wrapped around him and Lucifer, silencing the world.
The king gazed at Joseph Ortho's lifeless form.
"Lucifer… was this retribution truly needed?"
Lucifer's eyes dimmed like collapsing stars.
"He belonged to Orthodox. They're not just criminals—they're architects of ruin. He wasn't a thief… he was an echo of something darker."
The king hesitated.
"Then... is this the beginning of a war?"
Lucifer tilted his head, hair glowing faint blue.
"They're not hunting me, Majesty. They're chasing fate itself."
He stepped forward, voice low and absolute.
"You know who I am. I'm not a hero. I'm not a villain."
"I am Luciferos Lucus—first ruler of Heaven's magic. Magic entered this world because of me… millions of years ago."
"Now? I seek no throne, no power. I just solve. I just judge. If they try again—I'll kill again. Because justice is my form now."
"I don't seek light or darkness. I punish sin with spell-law."
The Water Veil dissolved.
Lucifer strode toward the bleeding heart of the Blood Palace. He dove deep into its waters, tracing the flow with his spirit sense.
From beneath the currents, he retrieved the limp body of the missing siren.
He placed her gilled form onto the altar. With a 1hr Meditation , he activated his spell :
Mana Crown — Circle 150: Blood Revival Composition
The blood surrounding her resonated and began shaping into a translucent girl's silhouette. Her gills glowed.
The siren gasped—a breath from silence—and sat upright.
The king fell to his knees, embracing her.
"My adopted daughter… you've returned."
He turned to Lucifer with tears pooling.
"I doubted you. I shouted. I'm sorry."
Lucifer said nothing—just nodded.
The king rose.
"Tomorrow, come to the Royal Court".
Minister Egaso will take the harpy and thieves now . Judgment will be pronounced in full."
Then Viron stepped forward.
"I' will heal Princess Veronica," he said softly. "But she has to become… part of my kind now."
The king hesitated, then nodded.
He turned to the crowd.
"All of you—palace court, tomorrow morning. No one shall miss it. Tonight… rest."
