Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: Sync Complete — Time to Slay a God

In the fog space—

The other three versions of Hajime had been waiting.

At this point in their plan, the Hajimes from the Fairy Tail and Tiga worlds no longer needed to stay here.

Only the Hajime from the Campione world had a role to play in the final step.

Even so, the others didn't leave.

After all, this was a plan they had devised together.

They both wanted to witness its grand finale with their own eyes.

The Hajime from the DanMachi world had barely arrived—

When the three others rushed over and laid hands on him without a word.

In an instant, the power-sharing was complete.

"Damn… this boost is way more intense than I expected!"

The Fairy Tail version of Hajime was genuinely surprised.

His physical strength and magical energy had jumped dramatically.

He remembered that Level 2 adventurers were indeed stronger than Level 1s—

But still far below the likes of B-class mages from Fairy Tail, let alone an S-Class like himself.

He hadn't expected much.

And yet, even he felt a noticeable increase—

Especially the boost in mana, which thrilled him.

"My biggest gap with veteran mages was mana reserves. And now? Even before slaying a god, I've already gained this much."

In terms of base stats, he now matched the level of the Ten Saint Wizard.

Of course, he was still no match for the old Four Heavenly Kings of Ishgar.

But against newer Wizard Saint members like Jura, he clearly held the advantage.

"Naturally!"

DanMachi Hajime brushed off their hands, a bit annoyed.

"Killing two monsters gave me so much experience that the [Falna] maxed out instantly. My stat numbers even overflowed."

He explained the situation:

"That's why just updating my stats gave us an irregular boost. It's bigger than the jump from leveling up."

"So it's thanks to me!"

Tiga Hajime puffed out his chest proudly.

After thinking it over, Hajime said:

"If that's the case, then every time I kill a monster, your adventurer level increases by one. And since I've got tons of monsters over here, doesn't that mean I could help you reach dozens of levels?"

Historically, the highest level adventurer in Orario was only Level 9. Reaching dozens would surpass even what the gods imagined.

"That's unlikely," said the Hajime from the Campione world, shaking his head.

"The higher your level, the more feats you need to level up. Right now, one monster gives an overflow of experience, but after reaching the double digits, the experience might only be enough to push your stats to SSS. Eventually, monsters might not even meet the requirements for feats anymore."

While powerful, monsters weren't so strong that they could challenge adventurers dozens of levels above. In fact, monsters like Golza and Melba—the earliest to appear—were only about as strong as gods.

Very few monsters born on Earth truly had the power to destroy the planet. Of course, plenty could wipe out cities and civilizations.

"Good point," said Hajime from the Tiga world, nodding. He wasn't disappointed—this kind of power boost was already far more than expected.

At that moment, the Hajime from the DanMachi world looked over at his counterpart from Campione.

"After updating my status, I visited the dungeon to test out Fairy Law."

"How'd it go?" asked the Hajime from the Fairy Tail world, curious. Though he was the first to learn the spell, he'd never used it. Makarov had repeatedly warned him that Fairy Law was a last-resort, large-scale destructive spell—only to be used if he or his friends were in mortal danger.

He'd never encountered an enemy worth using it on, so he'd only ever practiced pre-casting.

"It's powerful, but in our current state, it probably wouldn't threaten god-tier enemies. I'd recommend only using it while in Ultraman form," summarized the DanMachi world's Hajime.

"Got it, thanks!"

The Campione Hajime took mental notes. Despite having the same power, he was still a newbie, and the DanMachi version's testing gave him a valuable head start.

"No need to thank me—helping you is helping myself," said the DanMachi Hajime, waving it off.

"Alright then, look forward to what I bring back!" laughed the Campione Hajime, waving goodbye as he returned to his world.

He would be the one to bring this plan to its climax. The others had done great so far—he wasn't about to be the only one to mess up.
