Attorney Xin's laughter rang across the hall, loud enough for a few heads to turn. He clutched his stomach as he tried to catch his breath, his grin stretching wide.
"You guys have no idea what I just saw!"
Drew arched a brow, curiosity flickering in his eyes. But he remained silent, clearly waiting for the man to spill it on his own.
Grinning mischievously, Attorney Xin leaned closer to Drew and whispered, "I saw Sebastian's shoe. There's a dent in it, and even a scratch! Which means someone stomped on it—hard. And judging by Sebastian's sour face, he definitely lost this round."
Drew blinked, his lips twitching as he processed the image. In his mind, there was no one else who could have done it. It had to be Amari. A soft hum escaped his throat. "So karma finally caught up to him, huh?"
Attorney Xin was in high spirits, practically glowing with glee. "This is the first time I've ever seen him like that! But when I came out… Amari was nowhere to be seen."
