Chapter 103: Turning the Tables
"Wind Release: Air Cannon."
As expected of an elite jounin. With a casual flick of his wrist, he unleashed a Wind Release ninjutsu that completely dispersed Kyosuke's Great Fireball.
However, his decision to expose his back to the enemy was a grave miscalculation.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique."
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique."
"Gentle Fist Art: Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm."
In an instant, the ninjutsu attacks of Thirteen, Seven, and Hyuga Saori descended upon him.
"Child's play," the Sand ninja commander said, unfazed. He then clasped his hands together.
"Wind Release: Tornado Hurricane."
This was a jutsu that infused chakra into the wind, forming a massive tornado for an enveloping attack. It had a wide range and lasted for a long time. Anyone caught in it would be twisted and torn apart. In the hands of a powerful ninja, it could even create a vacuum effect, rendering Fire Release, sound, and bombs ineffective.
Of course, the Sand ninja commander's purpose in using this jutsu was not to inflict damage, but to use the outer wall of the tornado for defense.

And because the enemy had only sent a mere brat to attack, he had naively believed that they hadn't discovered his comrade was a sensory ninja. This was what had led to this outcome.

He angrily tossed his unconscious comrade to the four subordinates who had rushed over, then turned and nodded to the remaining jounin. The two of them then followed the tracks left by Kyosuke and the others, quickly giving chase.

Second, they all knew that the reason their progress was so slow was because of Kyosuke. Otherwise, even if the three of them were no match for the Sand ninja, they wouldn't have been caught so easily.
Third, and most importantly, the enemy's sensory ninja was heavily injured and unconscious. So, while Kyosuke's actions seemed dangerous, the chances of success were relatively high. And this way, not only would the three of them be able to increase their speed, but they could also meet up with the support unit much sooner. After joining forces to kill or repel the Sand ninja, the crisis would naturally be resolved.
In summary, Kyosuke's solo action was beneficial in every way.

Seeing that Saori had agreed, Kyosuke had smiled with satisfaction. As for the two clan shinobi, under his direct order, they could only reluctantly accept.

Looking at the inconspicuous small snake before him, Kyosuke had nodded solemnly to the three of them, said "take care," and then slipped into its body.
The small snake had then slithered around for a moment before disappearing into the undergrowth.
Seven had silently created a shadow clone, transformed it into Kyosuke's appearance, and then the three of them, plus one clone, had set off again.
In fact, the reason Kyosuke had done this, besides the reasons he had explained, was another important factor.
He couldn't bear to let those "fat sheep" get away.
