"So, think Heidi's heading home too?"
Morgan tilts his head, watching the night stretch out before them. The mention of her name sends a slow ripple through his chest. He's irritated that Grayson dares to mention his Luna as if she is going to graduate from just being "Grayson's mated" into anything serious.
Newsflash, she won't because he's going to kill Grayson before he can become anything more to her.
"What makes you ask?" Morgan asks casually despite his inner murderous thoughts.
Grayson shrugs. "Just wondering if she needs a ride. You know, to make sure she doesn't get mobbed by those psychos gossiping about her."
Morgan hums, noncommittally. Of course, you're thinking about her. It's always the same… every one of them who looks at Heidi ends up under her spell. Not to mention now that she bears their mark. The attraction and obsession will be unparalleled.
He hides the flicker of possessiveness behind a laugh. "Oh, how noble of you. Chivalry's not dead after all."
