The impact shattered the ground beneath his feet.

Raito twisted his wrist.
His dagger flashed.
CRACK.
The enemy's dagger snapped cleanly in half.
Before it could react, Raito's left hand shot forward—grabbing the entity by the face, fingers digging directly into its glowing red eyes.
"—AAAAARGH!!"
Dark crimson blood poured down its face as it screamed, staggering backward, clawing at Raito's arm.
That was all he could do.
Raito surged forward, seizing the creature's body. This time, it was stable.
He grabbed its neck, tightening his grip. Then he lifted it high, muscles coiling with controlled force.
He raised his leg to strike.
The dagger—it slammed against his cheek—but didn't pierce.
"Well, guess what?" Raito muttered, voice calm. "Most of my skin is activated. Stronger than the body of that dragon I defeated before."
With that, he lifted the enemy higher, carrying it with raw force, and slammed its head into the ground.
