When Noah Metron opened the door and saw Herta in the living room, he froze for a second.
The girl sat gracefully on the edge of the sofa, flipping through an academic paper as usual.

What was unusual was the outfit.
Black dress. Lace trim. Elegant ribbon tied to her collarbone.
And most importantly—
**Black stockings.**
Again.
Noah's expression twitched slightly.
"Herta…"
"Hm?" She looked up.
He hesitated.
"…Why are you wearing those again?"
Herta tilted her head, confused. "Weren't you the one who said I looked good in them?"

She stopped right in front of him.

**"Then should I… take them off again?"**

Noah's heart skipped a beat.
This tone.
This stare.
Definitely not how a student should be talking to her tutor.
But Herta showed no sign of joking.
She raised her foot lightly—just enough for the hem of her dress to lift an inch—and placed it on the coffee table.
Revealing the full length of the stocking wrapped tightly along her smooth leg.
Then she looked at him again.
Calm.
Serious.
Dangerous.
"…Do you want me to?"
Noah looked away immediately.
"…It's fine. Keep them on."
"…Mm."
She lowered her leg and turned away, walking back to her books as if nothing happened.
But as she passed him, she murmured:
**"I knew you liked them."**
