Chapter 5: The Fall of Omashu
[The Earth Kingdom wilderness] (Just before dawn)
Omashu. An Earth Kingdom fortress city that was said to be second only to Ba Sing Se in grandeur and immenseness.
It was something I had to see with my own eyes.
So far, I had only encountered tiny Earth Kingdom villages that had been drowning in famine and poverty. But I knew that the world of Avatar was more than that- filled with examples of amazing fantastical architecture, and Omashu could be counted as one of them. But more than just wanting to see it out of curiosity, I also had to see this fabled mountain city for myself so that I can place the finishing touches to my original plan: Conquering the city, crushing any Earth Kingdom resistance, planting the Fire Nation banner atop its highest point and gorging ourselves on the spoils of war before moving on.
That was why- under the cover of night- I accompanied a small scouting force to traverse the steep hills, unforgiving mountains and deep ravines of Omashu's outer border. Just myself, ten {Ostrich-Horse Scouts}, and the six {Kyoshi Warriors}. The main force of the 41st Division will be taking longer to manoeuvre across this harsh landscape.
One of my Scouts swivelled on his ostrich-horse to face me- his Fire Nation armour hidden under an inconspicuous brown cloak as she spoke, "My Khan, Omashu should be just beyond the crest of this hill: We will have a good vantage point while concealed amongst the boulders."
"Excellent." I replied as I led my own ostrich-horse on foot, because I've yet to find a mount that could carry my armoured bulk. However, that suited me just fine: My Constitution, Dexterity and the [Relentless] perk made long marches easy for me. Soon, I'll be able to outrun these strange hybrid creatures myself, and make them even more redundant.
The same couldn't be said for my honour guard though.
"I can't believe we wanted to make this journey on foot..." Suki commented, the redhead Kyoshi Warrior in an Earth Kingdom peasant disguise as she rode atop her own ostrich-horse. Her blue eyes looking with unease at the treacherous terrain that led to Omashu. The winter snow made it unclear which was walkable ground and what were the overhanging roots that broke when you put your weight on them, and with a hundred foot drop, knowing the difference was very important. The ostrich-horses with their keen noses could easily tell though.
The other disguised Kyoshi Warriors made noises of agreement from their own ostrich-horse mounts.
"Omashu is surprisingly hard to go to."
"Back on Kyoshi Island, you wouldn't know that there was so much dry land in the world..."
"Or that mountains can grow so tall."
"My feet are already hurting just from looking at it."
Their chatter was cut down to one word, however, when we crested the hill and beheld Omashu in all its glory.
"Wow..."
A massive city sprawling over an equally massive mountain. With a steep ravine encircling the mountain, there was nowhere else to enter the city except through the front gates. Attackers would either have to scale a high cliff several hundred metres tall, or straight out fly... all while Earthbenders threw boulders at them. The only approach to the city was a narrow, winding footpath where a single misstep meant a hundred metre fall to the brutal rocks below.
My entire scouting party stayed silent as they stared at the city we were going to take. At least, they did... until Suki said what everyone was already thinking, "How in the name of all the spirits under heaven are you going to conquer that?"
"We're already halfway there." I said- much to her surprise, "The city is almost ours."
"But... how?" Suki puzzled as she, the Kyoshi Warriors and even my own scouts looked at me like I've grown a second head. "You haven't even attacked the city even once yet!"
"There are other equally viable tactics to besieging a city aside from launching flaming boulders at it." I calmly explained, "Raze the surrounding villages and drive all their unskilled labour off as refugees towards the target city. Cramped and homeless in the big city, they'll sow panic and despair amongst the local populace about the imminent invasion- all while eating through the city's limited food supply with being unable to meaningfully contribute back. Now factor in how they've been cut off from their main source of food through the Gaoling-Omashu Trade Route, and Omashu has far too many mouths to feed with not even rice grains to feed them all."
Suki looked at the city and realised what must be happening within those walls right this moment, "... and with Omashu full of starving, desperate people with nothing to lose; it's only a matter of time before the city tears itself apart from the inside."
"Precisely." I nodded, as everyone in the scouting party realised the plan, "At this point, we only need to intercept the incoming Ba Sing Se relief caravans undoubtedly coming from the North and Northeast; and Omashu will surrender within the month. However... we don't have that long. I estimate that the Fire Nation Siege Corp will be here in about three weeks, and I will not accept them stealing Omashu from us."
It was part of a common strategy employed by Chinggis Khan. People had always remembered him as some barbarian warlord that overwhelmed his foes with a horde of mounted archers. They almost never mention how he was a master of siege warfare, or that he had a deep understanding of people that he leveraged to deadly effect. And now, his martial wisdom will be put to use once again.
"You're being greedy, Khan." Suki pointed out, and I subtly glanced at the Gamer System window displayed on the corner of my vision.

Four perk points- equal to four level ups at my current Intelligence Stat. It was quite the prize...
"Perhaps I am being greedy." I conceded the point before staring at Suki, "But we're still taking Omashu, and you're going to help me."
I had expected the redhead to disagree- perhaps even argue with me. But instead, she just hesitantly pursed her lips and glanced back towards the city. She seemed to consider the stronghold for a few seconds before looking back at me, "We'll do as you command, Khan. Do you plan to do to Omashu what you did with all the other villages?"
"No." I shook my head, "The 41st Division doesn't have the manpower to process Omashu's gargantuan population. And I have more important things to do than being burdened with administrating an overpopulated Earth Kingdom city. I'll leave that messy job to the Fire Lord's appointed governor."
That didn't seem to be the answer that Suki was looking for though. Her lips pressed into a thin pink line.
"That doesn't answer my question though." She pointed out, "How we're going to take Omashu, the second most powerful Earth Kingdom city, in three weeks!?"
"Three weeks?" I guffawed, "Don't be silly, this won't even take a week. As for the question of how we're going to be taking Omashu... well, I'll brief you all when the rest of the 41st arrives. Scouts, I want to know about every path, every hill, every cavein the area. They'll come useful for our upcoming maneuver."
"Yes, my Khan!" my scouts saluted before riding off with an excited chirp from their ostrich-horses.
"You six." I said- looking over to the Kyoshi Warriors in their green and black uniform. "Set up camp and make preparations for a mission later tonight. We're going to personally see to the downfall of this city."
Suki glanced among the five other Kyoshi Warriors- seemingly in a silent conversation before looking at me. Her deep blue eyes staring at me with an unknowable complex emotion as she quietly replied, "Yes, my Khan."
With those words, she and the Kyoshi Warriors wordlessly directed their ostrich-horses down the hill to pitch their tent. However...

My eyes narrowed as I watched the Kyoshi Warriors' retreating backs.
Now, that won't do at all. It did not specify what the consequences of failing that obedience check were; but nevertheless, the Kyoshi Warriors were too important in taking Omashu to just leave it be. My hand was forced: It would seem that Omashu will have to wait until I can secure the Kyoshi Warriors' loyalty.
I will need to... inspire some obedience in her and her sisters.
(Later that Night) [Kyoshi Warriors' Tent]
Outside their tent, Suki sat by the campfire with her sisters- all of them just staring anxiously at the dancing flames.
"I honestly don't know what to do..." She quietly admitted to her sisters-in-arms.
Khan was an overconfident fool- he had allowed his victories over small Earth Kingdom villages to get to his head, and it was such a shame. Because if it was just any other Earth Kingdom stronghold or town that they were assaulting, she and her sisters would have aided in it. Even killed innocents in his name... but assaulting Omashu? It seriously made her doubt that Khan was going to live long enough to see the end of the war and write that passage that would clear the name of the Kyoshi Warriors.
"Khan... he has some great ideas." Suki murmured- poking at the campfire, "He even knows how to make them a reality, and with the nudge in the right direction, he can make a positive difference in the world, but... I think his ego has gotten the better of him."
Her sisters' faces- illuminated by the orange glow of the campfire- nodded.
"I had doubts even before we saw Omashu ourselves, and now that we have..."
"It just seems impossible."
"We're seriously outnumbered, and that city... there's no way to attack it."
"If we try to attack that city, we're going to get massacred... or just fall to our deaths."
"... We're not going to clear the name of the Kyoshi Warriors this way."
"No, we're not..." Suki agreed with a heavy sigh. It didn't help that Khan had yet to brief them on the plan- keeping the 41st Division in a standoff with Omashu.
Oh, the 41st Division was well-coordinated, alright. Scouts in every direction to act as an early warning against any force wishing to attack the main force. Well-organised and familiar tent layout where everyone could figure out where the relevant tents like the mess, the quartermaster, the medical tents were in a snap. The troops practicing their usual training drills and maneuvers. All in all, Khan led his troops well, but... there was nothing that can actually help them capture a city whose garrison had them outnumbered.
"Doesn't matter how you slice it: This just seems to be a stupidly reckless move." She murmured- glancing down the hill they were on and to the myriad campfires of the 41st Division. "I may be a stupid islander who failed history class, but even I know that we need actual siege engines to take a city. We have none. Did Khan just forget to bring some along? Does he expect us to just charge down that narrow approach and drown Omashu with our blood? I really wanted to believe in him, but now, I think we have to consider actually-"
Suki's rebellious proposal to her sisters was cut off however as everyone around the campfire stiffened and quieted as a Fire Nation soldier climbed up their hill- her boots crunching against the soil in the silence. It was only when she neared that Suki recognised who she was: The Fire Nation sergeant who usually guarded Khan's abode.
"Khan is expecting you in his personal quarters now." She curtly said to them.
"We'll be right there." Suki replied. And with a sigh, she and her sisters stood up and followed the Fire Nation sergeant.
Meanwhile, Suki could feel heart beat nervously in her chest. Was it just her or were things just a bit tense right now? This actually reminded her of the first time she was led out of their cage where Khan was once again an unknown factor. Did Khan suspect that they might be having doubts? Was he thinking that they might actually break their Oath and run?
Those worrying questions stayed with her as they walked through the war camp.
It was just a short walk though, and Suki found themselves stepping inside Khan's metal shack- her sisters following behind her. The metal door clicked shut behind them, and Suki couldn't help but nervously fiddled with sleeves of her green kimono as she and her sisters entered to find him once again at his book-covered desk.
"Kyoshi Warriors." Khan's smooth voice greeted them. Still in his usual casual red robes and still preoccupied with an open book.
"K-Khan." Suki gulped back. Was it just her or was there a certain intensity in the giant's eyes tonight? The green almost sparkling like emeralds being held against the candlelight, and tonight, they were staring at her and her sisters with unusual interest. If she didn't know better, she'd have thought that he was undressing them with his eyes.
It was always like this. The possibility looming over her head that- at any moment he pleased- that man could just stand up at any time and launch her into another steamy night of amazing sex as he did what he pleased with her.
A shiver ran along her entire body at the thought, ghosting along her skin and terminating at her nipples and her crotch in a flighty tingle.
Suki had to remind herself that he wasn't interested in those sorts of things- not really. Always pragmatic, always surprisingly bookish, and always stinging at her womanly pride for overlooking her so easily. Even when he had been wantonly taking her body every night, it felt like she was just a passing interest on the way to more stimulating things. How many times had she wished that he'd take her seriously as a woman? Well, she had gotten her wish tonight, it seemed. His stare was so intense, and her body- which was already well-trained at this point- responded by heating up and growing wet.
Khan looked at them with a smouldering look in his green eyes.
Suki swallowed nervously. It was now or never. They should talk Khan out of assaulting Omashu. "Khan, please reconsider your a-"
"I want you." came the three words that she had always hoped for, but never actually heard from him. Suki immediately quieted down at that... maybe he'll be in a better mood to listen to their plea after taking out his sexual frustrations on her.
"Yes, master..." Suki shyly whispered- stepping forward and shrugging off her green kimono and leaving her completely bare in front of him. "T-take me however you wish. Please."
She could feel the eyes of her sisters glance at her too. Veiled looks of envy prickling at her naked back. After all, they were Kyoshi Warriors though, not nuns at a monastery. They weren't bound by an oath of celibacy, and they still had urges. So, when they were forced to watch as Khan took out his frustrations on her, there had been a silent agreement among them to give each other the courtesy of not mentioning how they'd been... relieving their stress with some alone time at night. He may be a violent Fire Nation warlord, but they couldn't deny their physical attraction to him. The fact that they were his captives just made it hotter and made their hearts race.
"I meant all of you." Khan amended- much to their surprise. "It won't do if I took Omashu before I have taken all of you... Strip."
Suki glanced back at the blushing faces of her sisters as they did as ordered- disrobing in front of him and slipping off their underwear to reveal that all five of them were just as dripping wet as Suki was.
They stiffened as Khan stood up from his desk- the warm light from the lanterns' flames making the giant's shadow come alive and gave him an almost menacing aura to him. His raven black hair in a handsome mess from wearing his skull-helm all day long, and his mouth set in a cocksure smirk as he looked at them. The physical embodiment of the 'the big bad Prince of the Fire Nation' character that they've read about in their hidden novels. Tall, handsome, smolderingly sexy, bad and so... untameable. It would take an earnest woman to change him, and the prospect that she could succeed in that and make him all hers... Suki bit down a whimper as she felt a trail of wetness drip down her thigh.
Of the six of them, Suki was the only one who didn't have black hair. Something that was made more apparent as her sisters stepped forward- literally abreast with her. Or at least they would be, if they had the cup size for it. Suki smugly noted. But to her less... blessed sisters, Khan didn't seem to discriminate.
"Beautiful and exquisite..." he murmured in approval, and they all blushed in response... that was the first time he had so openly complimented them. And like a military officer appraising his troops (which technically they were), he stopped in front of them to run his hands over them one by one. And if Suki was going to be honest with herself, she wasn't surprised that this was happening, only that it didn't happen sooner.
"M-master... please." Suki heard her sister whimper for more- squirming slightly as Khan's large hand cupped her perky breast and flicked a thumb across the stiff rosy tip. A breathy little moan was the response which turned into a full drawn out moan as he reached down and ran a finger across her virgin femininity- the act that was so familiar to Suki that she could almost feel it just from watching it happen to someone else.
"P-please don't tease me so much~!" Suki heard her sister whine as she bucked her hips against his hand and smeared her nectar onto his palm
"Such a lovely voice... I think I'll start with you." Khan noted- much to the disappointment of everyone else. Grabbing the lucky girl by her pert ass, he led her to the bed- pushing her down and earning a delighted squeal of excitement from the lucky bitch. His large seven-foot-tall frame made the girl's slender body look downright tiny underneath him, Watching the entire scene, Suki realised that was how she probably looked when he took her virginity: A normal girl pinned against the bed- helpless, horny and panting breathlessly as the giant of a man looming above her undid his robes and poised his large manhood against her pink virgin lips. Unable to do anything but stare at the throbbing pillar of man meat that was about to give her the ride of her life.
"Just wait patiently for your turns: No touching yourselves now." he said- looking back at them with a smirk.
Then Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors just watched as he plunged right into her sister's moist quim with a single not so gentle motion. Plundering her virginity for himself with a single enthusiastic howl of delight from the girl in question. "Oh spirits, It's soooo big~!"
Like the brutish stallion of a warlord that Suki knew him to be, Khan didn't even give her sister time to get used to his prodigous size before he began thrusting in and out of her.
"Oh-oh-oh-oooohhh Yesssssss~! Harder! 3"
... Not that she was against it apparently.
Suki didn't know how long they stood there just watching him rail her. The splatter of girl cum with each powerful thrust. The constant moaning and the continuous begging for him to go faster or deeper or harder or all of the above. The grunts of exertion from him as he fulfilled her wishes and more- cramming her eager and willing pussy full with more cock than she had ever dreamed of taking. And the eager shouts of pleasure as she came around his cock again and again.
"M-more, please! Pound my naughty pussy into the mattress! Cum in me like you did with Suki!"
Suki chewed on her lip as she watched him sink his magnificent cock right down to the hilt in her sister's willing pussy. Balls clenching as he pumped her unprotected womb full with his virile seed. His large frame almost completely covering her with only her long legs visible as she wrapped them around his waist. And only when he withdrew from her sister's trembling form, did they see the aftermath: her once virgin femininity leaking a thick river of semen from her twitching hole and utterly ruined for any other man. She was all his now... just like Suki was.
"S-soo good...I-I can't feel my toes... Haaah~ 3"
Khan's still hard cock glistened with their combined juices as he pulled away from the panting girl on his bed. It was a weapon- Suki realised- one that could turn a proud Kyoshi Warrior into nothing but an obedient mewling slut begging for him to keep going... and she could only hope that she was next.
But unfortunately, she wasn't lucky bitch #2. Khan walked over to them, reached out and grabbed the girl beside her- picking her up like she was a ragdoll and roughly sinking her dripping slit down onto his large shaft with great force- the juicy splatter spraying against Suki's thighs as he bodily used her like a tool of pleasure. Normally, having the rough treatment would have been unacceptable, but since her face was being grinded against his pecs and abs, she didn't seem to mind it so much- what with her dopey grin and string of shameless screaming for more.
"O-Ohhhh~ More! Rearrange my slutty pussy to your cock! Paint my womb white!"
Suki squeezed her eyes and slick thighs shut as some cum splattered onto her toes. The next one, she's going to be the next one that'll be begging for him to reshape her insides and give it a nice white coat of sperm. She couldn't even touch herself like her sisters did when they helped Khan write his book. This was so unfair!
She was definitely going to be next... She had to be.
(Three more Kyoshi Warriors later)
Five well-fucked Kyoshi Warriors rested limply on my bed.
Their lithe, naked bodies were covered in sweat and cum as they held each other's hands for support. Their eyes hazy from pleasure as they panted breathlessly. My semen leaked from their freshly deflowered womanhoods, they were still shaking slightly from the tremors of their orgasms. As expected, they were all virgins and exceedingly tight and toned from their training. Having them as my honour guard now meant that I'll always have willing sluts following me around and eager to bend over whenever the mood strikes me. And best of all... they were actually grateful for it.
For finally taking their virginities after teasing them for so long...

Meanwhile, I finished with their illustrious redheaded leader... in a mating press.
"Saving me for Ah~ last... You're such a jerk!" Suki whined underneath me- her knees up against her bouncing breasts and her ankles up in the air as I pounded her vulnerable, throbbing slit to satisfaction.
"I can always just stop right now." I shot back- slowing down my thrusts momentarily to give her a taste of what she'd be missing out on.
"I'm sorry! Just keep going please! O-oh right there! Spirits YES~!"
"Does the valorous Kyoshi Warrior like getting pinned in a mating press so much?" I taunted her. Holding her hands above her head, I gave her a particularly deep thrust that battered the tip of my cock against her womb's entrance. And as expected, her trembling vaginal walls squeezed down tight as she came.
"I LOVE IT!" the busty redhead shrieked in delight as she did her best to milk me with her pussy... which she succeeded, and her voice rose as I urgently hammered away to my finish- unable to endure the silky wet heaven of her pussy anymore.
I battered open her cervix with my cock and pumped a fresh load of semen right in her steamy fertile depths, and Suki's voice climbed with each thick rope of cum I shot into her. Eventually, I emptied my balls into her and I was left with a nice cream-filled redhead Kyoshi Warrior.
"It's so hot... A-ah~" Suki whimpered as I pulled out of her thoroughly creampied pussy. "M-mmm... no... it's leaking out..."
All six Kyoshi Warriors, sexually satisfied. Hopefully, their Reputation and Obedience stats should be past the minimum required for them not to do... whatever it was that was the negative consequence to failing the earlier check.

"Both checks passed. Very good." I murmured in approval, "Alright, since you're all pole sisters now. I suppose I can brief you on the maneuver that we'll be conducting tomorrow at dawn."
"Khan..." Suki murmured with a pout, "You're an amazing lover, but... a mission brief isn't what a good afterglow pillow talk should be about."
"Alternatively, a mission brief shouldn't be preceded with sex, conducted in bed or with my dick still wet with my honour guard's combined juices, but here we are."
Suki's pouty red lips just pouted harder. "That's kind of your fault."
"... Fine, we can go for one more round after." I conceded, and immediately, six pairs of eyes flew open in attention.
"Okay!" The Kyoshi Warriors chirped all together, and I nodded before telling them the plan to take Omashu. It couldn't have been more than five minutes of explaining, and by the end of it, I had six Kyoshi Warriors sharing contemplative looks.
"That is actually a really good plan, Khan." Suki conceded- looking like she was genuinely convinced.
"You mean to say that I could have just told you the plan and you would have gone along with it?" I accused them.
"No, I'd say it was very necessary."
"The sex really put us into a listening mood."
"A tingly vagina is vital for an attentive audience. You know?"
"Mhm... Having a cunt full of fresh sperm really helps with my attention span."
"A nice warm bump in my belly."
"Speaking of which..." Suki purred, her deep blue eyes staring at my still erect cock while she licked her lips, "... you promised us another round, right?"
"Fine, we'll do it in reverse order this time." I smirked as I strode over to them- a tangle of naked girls with toned bodies and lustful eyes. Subconsciously or not so subconsciously, their thighs spread slightly wider at my approach. I didn't even have to train them at all, it would seem. Having a cadre of naturally horny kunoichi-lites as my honour guard was already showing its benefits.
"I want to try the mating press this time!"
"Me too!"
"And me three!"
"Just fold me over like a possom-chicken egg omelette again, flame daddy!"
"..."
"Uh... Suki?"
"... Flame daddy?" I echoed. Not angry, just disappointed. "I just wanted to enjoy a second round of dicking down my harem of lovely ladies and you just had to make it weird."
A nuclear red blush exploded onto Suki's face as she panicked, "Forget I said that! I-I got carried away, okay?!"
I was supposed to be the most feared conqueror of the Fire Nation: The Chinggis Khan of the Avatar world. Now, I was 'Flame Daddy.' Hopefully, this is the last girl with daddy issues. And although it would remain unknown to me for a long time afterwards, it was at that moment that- all across the Four Nations- several girls simultaneously sneezed.
I sighed.
"Just never speak of that outside the bedroom, understood?"
"Really?!" Suki excitedly said- clearly turned on by the idea as her eyes turned hooded and her voice husky, "Be rougher with me this time... daddy?"
Tomorrow, Omashu falls. But for now, I had six girls on my bed to sexually satisfy.
(The dawn after) [Lower Ring, City of Omashu]
In a lonely Omashu alleyway under a starry deep purple sky just before dawn, the sound of metal dully scraping against stone rumbled out as a metal manhole cover rose from its rest and was pushed aside.
Silent as a ghost, Suki jumped out of the dark manhole- her painted face vigilantly glancing all around. Her gloved hand gripped her katana tight- ready to kill any witnesses to her infiltration of the city.
She tapped her foot twice- the soft sound unheard to anyone beyond a few metres from her. And immediately, the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors climbed out of the manhole along with their waterproof sack full of their gear. They took turns keeping watch and changing from 'wetsuits' to their proper Kyoshi Warrior armour. Soft whispers drifting between them.
"Who would have thought that there would be an entrance to the sewers below the city?"
"It seems like such a notable vulnerability to overlook..."
"Khan was right though: he never would have fit in those sewers."
"At least, he geared us for filthy sewer water beforehand..."
"... Yeah, imagine the stench sticking to our armour."
"Let's stay silent now." Suki softly quieted them down.
Fully armoured in their traditional Kyoshi Warrior regalia plus a cloak to hide their painted faces, they dropped their stinking wetsuits down into the manhole before closing it- leaving no evidence of their infiltration into the city.
"To the front gates, quickly." Suki beckoned to the others. Their mission, as Khan had explained to them in the middle of their lovemaking last night, was simple and clear. Suki could still scarcely believe it would work, but... Khan had been persuasive. A four step plan... imagine that. The second most secure fortress in the Earth Kingdom and Khan had narrowed down its downfall in four steps.
'Step 1: Infiltrate Omashu through the sewer system.'
Under the cover of the predawn darkness, they made their way towards the Omashu's front gates. Passing by the cracked stone houses that looked like they had sustained from the food riots that no doubt occurred. Everyone from Kyoshi Island knew that feeling in those hard times- the gnawing ache in your belly that drove people to desperate lengths. Suki pitied them even as she worked to topple their city. The sooner they surrender, the sooner the Fire Nation could supply them food.
The six of them approached the main barracks of the Earth Kingdom soldiers which was right by its gates, and sat their cloaked forms against the wall- just six beggars on the road to everyone. Their role was merely to wait, but fortune favoured them as a group of Earth Kingdom soldiers in their brown and green uniforms shuffled close enough to eavesdrop on. Even better, one of them even had the two-feathered helmet of an Earth Kingdom captain.
"Hah, those rumours about that Fire Nation giant was all hot air." the captain told his entourage of round-hatted earthbenders. "Ran away with their tails between their legs like the cowardly deer-dogs they are. I expected more from the so-called 'Ozai's Elites.' Regardless... Next month, the city of Omashu will officially have resisted the Fire Nation for 100 hundred years. We shall feast until our bellies burst then."
"But sir... what was the Fire Nation running from sir?"
"There must be a relief army from Ba Sing Se approaching."
"So, we're saved!" One earthbender exclaimed in relief, only to earn the ire of his captain.
"Fool!" he growled, "That relief army may arrive soon, but the caravans with the relief goods might take a few more days to get here! And you know how those haughty Ba Sing Se bastards are! Notoriously stingy with sharing their food, it's like dealing with a den of weasel-snakes."
More grumbling followed before a more lightly-armoured Earth Nation Scout arrived through the gates and spotted the captain.
"Sir! They left behind a lot of supplies!" Suki heard the Earth Nation Scout shout, and she shared a look of understanding with her sisters from beneath the hoods of their cloaks. Just as they had discussed with Khan.
'Step 2: The 41st rushes a strategic withdrawal; leaving behind everything unnecessary to lighten their bags and march faster.'
"It must be poisoned again." the Earth Kingdom captain dismissed with a disappointed sigh.
"But we already checked, sir!" the scout excitedly reported, "We fed it to some rats and the only sickness they had suffered were overstuffed bellies!"
Even without seeing the facial expressions of the Earth Kingdom troops, Suki could see the moment the wave of desperate, hunger-fuelled anticipation washed over the captain and his men.
"Quickly!" he cried out with the urgency of a man who hasn't eaten in a day or two, "Rally up the men, we need everyone strong enough to carry a sack of rice out there now!"
His entourage saluted just as hurriedly. "We'll knock on the porter houses and gather as many able-bodied men-"
"To the underworld with the civilians!" the Earth Kingdom Captain spat, "They'll riot again just for the chance to pillage the food for themselves! And if that's not enough to dissuade you, then our 'noble' officials will also have us exiled into the barren wastes if we don't deliver it to them first! Wake the previous shift up! We need everyone we can get to secure that food before the scavenging animals tear at them! NOW!"
Suki watched them scramble in every direction. So desperate were they at the prospect of food that they didn't even spare Suki and her sisters a second glance as they ran past them. Several minutes passed without much else occurring until a large contingent of Earth Kingdom soldiers were eventually assembled at Omashu's massive stone gate- all ready to retrieve the supplies that were left behind. There were a lot of them, enough to outnumber the 41st Division actually.
From underneath her disguise's cowl, her blue eyes watched as two teams of Earthbenders stationed atop Omashu's walls opened the main gate- practically just a stone wall as thick as a house that they slid to the side and allowed the contingent of soldiers to leave the city walls.
"Now, Suki?" One of her sisters asked as she eyed the wide-open gate. Suki could see her sisters grip their katanas at the ready just as the two teams of Earthbenders in charge of the gate were distracted.
'Step 3: The Earth Kingdom soldiers rush out to secure the supplies... depleting the city's garrison and leaving it defenceless to the infiltration force to open the gates.'
"Now!" Suki hissed- throwing off her disguise, "Move as one!"
Their Earthbender targets may have been high up on the walls, but Suki and her sisters weren't Kyoshi Warriors for nothing. Their training on Kyoshi Island was put to good use as they ran up walls, pulled themselves up ledges, leapt onto higher and higher rooftops with all the grace and silence of a cat owl on the hunt. Their parkour exhibition would have been noticed if there were more guards left on the walls, but they had all been pulled away by that Earth Kingdom captain's orders. They reached the top of the massive stone wall that cradled the city of Omashu without the alarm being sounded.
Of course, staying stealthy while standing atop a stone wall in broad daylight was much harder.
"HEY! You're not supposed to be up here!"
Spotted by the target Earthbending gatekeepers, Suki and her sisters broke into a steely-eyed sprint. Some scant stones were launched their way but Khan's training took over as they effortlessly dodged the hardened rocks like the spear thrusts of Khan's soldiers. The same couldn't be said for the Earthbenders: The lightning quick draw that Suki and her sisters had practiced over and over again proved to be invaluable as their katanas' blades separated heads from shoulders- heads tumbling off the wall and into the ravine below.
The Omashu's great stone gate was left wide open with no one left to close it.
"Our role here is complete." Suki announced before looking out to the horizon.
Out in the distance, on the rugged terrain of Omashu's surrounding area, the Earth Kingdom Soldiers were like green and yellow ants that were greedily swarming over the supply depots that the 41st had left behind. And only when they had hefted the heavy bags of grain onto their backs and began the long trek back... the black and red of the Fire Nation came swarming out from their blindspots in the snowy hillsides. Fire and flames engulfing the Earth Kingdom soldiers as they were caught exposed, unprepared and helpless. They were easy prey for the vicious Giant and his Horde.
'Step 4: The 41st emerge from their hiding spots and slaughter the overextended Earth Nation soldiers. The gates wide open for them and no one left to resist.'
"Just as Khan planned... down to the letter." Suki muttered as the fighting died down almost as quickly as it began, the Fire Nation overwhelmingly victorious. Their red and black uniforms already making a march for the wide open gates of Omashu. The familiar figure of Khan's great armoured frame- leading the victory parade into the city streets.
Suki and her sisters climbed down to street level to greet him.
"Step 5..." Khan spoke aloud as his skull-faced helm surveyed Omashu, "Their proud soldiers dead or in chains, their city starving, the Fire Nation's best soldiers within their walls ... Omashu is forced to surrender. Of course, Chinggis did it slightly differently- he didn't have an honour guard of elite female ninjas after all. But we also didn't have the numbers to do what he did; so, some improvisation was only natural."
Suki... she didn't share his enthusiasm. Her deep blue eyes glanced at the bloody rag that she had used to wipe her katana clean- soaked red in the blood of the Earth King's soldiers... the same soldiers that they had first set out to fight alongside with.
"Step 5... the Kyoshi Warriors solidify their place in history as traitorous defectors to the Fire Nation." Suki bitterly murmured, but Khan did something unexpected: He removed his helmet as he knelt down on one knee so that they were eye to eye... just like her father used to do when she was a lot younger. Suki felt her face heat up.
"Omashu was going to fall even if we weren't here." He calmly explained to her, "The Fire Nation Siege Corps would have arrived and scoured this city with fire, you helped me prevent that. And by doing so, you spared the lives of a lot of Omashu citizens today- averting a long drawn out siege that would have consumed a great number of souls in this city. These people have you and your sisters to thank for their lives. Normally, such an action would be left unknow, but you have my word that history will remember what you did here today."
And when he finished that up with a deep kiss, Suki just melted into it... before her sisters ruined the moment.
"I want a kiss too!"
"We did just as good of a job as Suki!"
"I want tongue with mine!"
Khan gave a bark of laughter before giving each of them a turn getting their reward, the soft moans making them acutely aware that they had attained victory on their first major battle with a warm pool of his cum from last night still inside them.
"Come on." He beckoned to them as he re-equipped his helmet and began walking ahead, "Let's get Omashu's formal declaration of surrender from King Bumi."
"Yes, my Khan!" Suki grinned as she and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors fell in step with him. He wasn't a bad person, she realised. Just misunderstood. And as Suki looked at Khan's broad, armoured back, she felt something; she wouldn't call it love, but... she had found her princely Fire Nation commander, just like in the books. She glanced at the houses they passed by- eyes of frightened citizens peeking through their window blinds.
A lot of people feared him, but that's okay. Just wait and see- she'll show them all. The strength and sincerity of her affections will make him undergo a metamorphosis into a good man. After all, they didn't know him like she did.

A very useful skill to have in some situations. Unfortunately, my main weapon, the [Meteor Hammer], required space to use. I really should look for an alternate weapon to use. I had trained in other weapons, but now it was a matter of finding the right one that will complement the skillset of the Kyoshi Warriors.
I glanced over to Suki and the others who had their hands on their Kyoshi Katana as we made our way into the palace.
"So much stone..." Her soft voice muttered, "Should we be walking so openly in the palace like this? What if there's an ambush?"
"All the soldiers are outside." I grunted. "The Scouts have reported that the few Earth Kingdom Soldiers left had all rushed out to defend their city when they heard the commotion outside- likely at the behest of King Bumi himself. The 41st have no doubt handled most of them by now."
We entered the throne room. Yellowish stone decorated by scant green tapestries and carpets. Even the throne itself was just normal stone with some cushions on it. All in all, Spartan for a monarch of Omashu, but that was expected of a kooky old man like Bumi. Speaking of whom, the old man sat on his throne, completely alone without bodyguards. His muscled form was completely hidden underneath those green robes and two-feathered crown while he glared at us with a surprising amount of animosity and vitality. It would seem that he somehow resisted the poison.
Suki gripped her katana tighter- anticipating a fight.
I didn't. It wasn't like he was going to do anything about it. In the second season of Avatar, he did nothing against the Fire Nation offensive that had taken his city, citing himself as practising Neutral Jing as 'wHeN yOu Do nOtHing.' One of the most potent Earthbenders in the series... and he did nothing for the majority of the war. As long as we don't do anything drastic, we can just have his surrender without a fight. Except...
"You killed Flopsy with your poison." King Bumi's angry voice echoed out as he stood up- shrugging off green robes off his muscled shoulders and settling his shredded body into a fighting stance.
"Ah, that would do it." I sighed in understanding. Time to put that new skill to very good use...The rattle of my Meteor Hammer's chain ringing out and the Kyoshi Warriors settling in their own fighting stances beside me. I nodded to Suki, and her painted face nodded back.
"Kyoshi Warriors..." I called out as I spun my Meteor Hammer, "[As One!]"
"As One!"
[The Royal Archives, Fire Nation Capital]
This would be a carefully calculated move for her. She wouldn't want to end up like her foolish older brother Zuko after all.
However, Azula already knew she wouldn't; and frankly, having to be related to that formerly-royal failure was already embarrassing enough to her. He really should have known better- speaking out of turn in the Fire Lord's own war council? Oh well, poor Zuzu deserved that scar for forgetting something as simple as royal etiquette. But now wasn't about him, it was about her. It was going to be her turn to speak up. It was going to be her turn to actually impress their father; and truly, it was imperative that she prepared for this.
"Father's favour is surely the most prized commodity in the Fire Nation right now." She muttered to herself. "Truly, the prize is certainly as great as the risk. So, of course, only the worthy can earn it. Namely, me."
Under her hand with freshly painted nails, the door to the Royal Archives creaked open- only the upper crust of the Fire Nation had the privilege of accessing such a well-kept library. Naturally, this place was at her disposal as the princess of the Fire Nation. She certainly will be needing such a privilege. With how much research she needs to do, she'll be burning the midnight oil tonight working through her reading list of dusty books and scrolls.
At least, that's what she would have done, if not for the lantern sitting innocently in the middle of an aisle. The wick was still smoking... as if someone had hurriedly extinguished it.
A hot, blue flame burst to life in Azula's palm as she drew her dagger with her other hand.
"I know you're still here." She drawled with a predatory smile as she locked the door behind her with a click. "Father will be so delighted when I bring a sneaky little spy to him."
She broke into a sprint down the aisle between the bookshelves. She was no fool, it was clear that she had caught the spy off-guard with her arrival. She neared the far end of the library before she heard it: Footsteps. Fast ones, even faster than Ty Lee. Not that it mattered.
"I have you now!" Azula victoriously cried out as she turned the corner with a wide swing of her dagger... only for it to be blocked by a golden stiletto of all things. And that was when she saw the spy.
A woman in a black dress. From underneath raven black hair, unnatural blood red eyes peered at Azula who, unfortunately, was distracted for just a quarter of a blink too long. The woman's foot met Azula's solar plexus with freakish strength- knocking the wind out of her and sending her tumbling across the carpet.
Being no slouch, Azula quickly regained her footing even as she fought through the pain and desperately gulped down air. Her blue flame back in her hands. But it was too late, the woman in black was already nowhere to be found. Only the curtains of an open window swaying in the night breeze. Rushing to the window, Azula's golden eyes were greeted with nothing but the rooftops of the sleepy capital. Not a shadow out of place.
There was no finding the spy now.
"How aggravating." She grumbled. No one should be able to best her in combat, but a different curiosity burned in her, "... but what were you after?"
A cursory inspection of the archives gave her the answer- a stack of thick books laid out on a dark wood table. The one in the centre was the most telling of them.
Transcript of the 2nd Negotiations with the 50th Earth King, Volume 3.
Azula's golden eyes narrowed in suspicion as she skimmed through the book. And just off the top of her head, she could think of several dozen reasons why a spy would want such information. Mountains of gold moved from hand to hand, captured POWs of noble blood were exchanged, under-the-table deals made that would lift up some noble houses and strike down others and a fiery hatred was stoked in the heart of her grandfather, Fire Lord Azulon, for the Earth King. So much information, so many possible motives... the question was now: Which one of them was the right answer?
"Such bad timing." Azula sighed as she shut the book and cradled it under her arm. She didn't have time to play sleuth- she still had a War council meeting to prepare for. She'll have to let others deal with this matter- much less competently than if she had handled it herself, of course.
Before she went to report this intrusion, she glanced at the open window one last time
"But alas, I'm really busy right now. So, count your good fortunes." Azula said- as if the spy was still there. She didn't like to call it a gut feeling- preferring instead to call it an answer at the edge of her mind. But... she had a feeling that this wasn't the last she had seen of this mystery woman.
Azula would only discover later that morning that the book had been taken... The guards placed to protect it slaughtered to the man.
The spy's true objective was apparently still out there, it seemed.

AN:
"Why is he so smart with so little INT?"... seems to be a common point of confusion. That value is added to his stats from the first life. So, even if his INT was zero, Khan would still be as smart as he was before reincarnation.
Which update style would be preferable... shorter 4-6k chapters with more regular updates? Or slightly longer chapters like these?
The actual strategy that Chinggis Khan used... was that he had his army leave supplies and pretend to retreat. The defenders of the besieged city would rush to grab the supplies and clog up the city's gates and streets. The Mongol horde would then just charge right in while the defenders were in disarray.
