Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening Electromagnetism from the Start

Laughter and chatter filled the classroom, but Hyuga Satoru was in a complete panic.

He saw a man with a Mediterranean-style haircut asking the students to introduce themselves. As each student introduced themselves, bursts of laughter and applause filled the room.

"Is the browser history still not deleted? How did I end up in the Naruto world? And it's the first class of the school year?"

Hyuga Satoru quickly glanced around the classroom, and upon seeing many familiar faces, his panic only intensified.

The student sitting in the front row, proudly declaring, "My father is the Hokage," seemed to be someone who would one day become a key figure in the underground black market, his head being exchanged for a bounty by a top-tier financial enthusiast.

The arrogant white-haired guy sitting in the middle of the second row, wearing a black mask—if Satoru remembered correctly—would one day become the chakra unit of measurement. He would lose an eye in the Third Great Ninja War due to the law of causality being 50/50.

The boy behind him, wearing protective goggles, would become infamous for killing his master's wife and slaughtering his entire clan due to an early romance. His actions would stir up a bloody storm in the ninja world, and his eventual fate would leave only his remains behind.

The more Satoru looked, the more frantic he became.

These powerful characters in the original story all met tragic ends. And now that he had just crossed over into this world, wouldn't he be in for a worse fate?

His gaze turned back to the person currently introducing themselves.

The guy's teeth were shining like a flashlight, and his dream was to fully embrace his youth. He seemed to be the only civilian who could defy fate, nearly taking a step toward the final conclusion. His dance moves were highly praised by Madara and earned him the title of the strongest in taijutsu.

However, in the end, he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

As for the other classmates, Satoru didn't recognize many of them. They were the cannon fodder of cannon fodder, the most expendable of the expendables. A few years later, during the Third Great Ninja War, many of them would likely be wiped out, and only a handful would survive to the conclusion.

If he were from the main branch, things might be different, as they had the protection of the numerous branch families. As long as he didn't act recklessly, maybe he could survive until the end. But based on the memories of his past life, he wasn't from the main branch. His parents were dead, and within the Hyuga clan, he was one of the least favored.

This was bad. This was a nightmare start.

Satoru's eyes were hollow.

"Why did I have to cross over? Into the Naruto world, where life is as cheap as grass? And on top of that, I landed in the time period with the highest death rate before the Third Ninja War."

The Battle of the Kamigami Bridge, the Battle of Kikyō Mountain... Satoru didn't even dare to imagine how he would survive.

Just when he was about to resign to despair, a gentle voice pulled him back to reality.

"Hyuga Satoru, it's your turn to introduce yourself."

Satoru looked up and saw the instructor, Fujino Daiki, smiling at him, with the rest of the class focusing their attention on him.

Reluctantly, Satoru stood up.

"My name is Hyuga Satoru, I'm from the Hyuga clan. My favorite foods are ramen and grilled meat. My dream is... my dream is..."

Satoru hesitated for a moment, thought for a second, and then spoke.

"To live to see the conclusion."

The class fell silent, all staring at him in surprise and confusion. Live to the conclusion??? What did that even mean?

Fujino Daiki awkwardly chuckled, rubbing the sparse hair on top of his head.

"It seems Hyuga Satoru really likes to read manga. The 'conclusion' is something only in manga, you know? I hope that in the future, Satoru-kun won't get too lost in manga."

"Yes."

Satoru half-heartedly responded before sitting back down. He clearly remembered that very few of these classmates would survive to see the conclusion.

After a few more students finished their introductions, Fujino Daiki cleared his throat and said, "Alright, class. That concludes the self-introduction portion. Now, let's move on to the first lesson. Please open your textbooks to 'The Will of Fire'."

Satoru flipped through the red textbook in front of him, which was filled with praise for the Will of Fire, without any real substance.

Fujino Daiki, at the podium, passionately spoke about the Will of Fire, and most of the class seemed to be listening intently.

Satoru, however, couldn't sit still. He flipped through more pages, trying to focus, but all he saw were two words hidden in the text—pyramid scheme.

Had he fallen into a brainwashing center for a pyramid scheme?

Is this the kind of political propaganda Konoha has?

Where's the guiding principles? Where's the ideological framework? Where are the standards and guidelines?

The entire textbook was just about how everyone is one big family, how we must protect the children, protect the village, and sacrifice everything for the village.

The key point is... I'm only six years old, and they want me to sacrifice myself on the battlefield?

When watching anime in his previous life, Satoru never realized it, but now that he had crossed over and became part of this world, he could see the absurdity of it all.

After the initial panic, Satoru gradually calmed down. After all, his soul was that of an adult, with experiences and thoughts far beyond what a child could comprehend.

While Fujino Daiki's voice still rang out passionately about the Will of Fire, Satoru's gaze had already drifted to the window, his mind racing as he formulated plans for the future. Today was his first day in ninja school, and the start of his journey as a ninja. He needed to start planning his training in earnest.

For the sake of his dream, or perhaps... his goal of surviving until the end.

Satoru pushed open the creaky wooden door and was greeted by a small, worn courtyard. This was the house his parents had left him. Though it wasn't very large, it had everything he needed.

After a full day of lessons, most of which had been about the Will of Fire, Satoru didn't learn anything useful. He had hoped for practical ninja lessons, but there had been none.

However, by the end of the day, he had fully absorbed the memories of his previous self.

He had no memory of his mother—she had died during childbirth. His father had been a protector of the main branch, an elite chunin, who died on a mission to protect the main branch. Thanks to this, he inherited his father's house and gained the qualification to attend the ninja school.

As a branch family member, he also had the caged bird seal on his forehead. His future, like his father's, seemed destined to be a protector of the main family, sacrificing himself to protect the main branch "honorably."

A headache...

Satoru rubbed his forehead. Not all branch family fathers were the heads of their families. He had an uncle, the head of the main family, who gave him only a meager allowance of 1500 ryo per month. After food and living expenses, there wasn't much left for training.

Meanwhile, there was that loudmouth, the guy who claimed he would break free from his fate. He had no worries about food and drink and enjoyed the best treatment in the Hyuga clan, while more branch family members, like Satoru, struggled to make ends meet.

Sighing, Satoru cleared his thoughts. It wasn't the time to dwell on these things. After a day of lessons, his stomach was already growling with hunger.

After looking through the remaining ingredients in the kitchen, he decided to eat dinner first before thinking about his training plan.

Life was already bleak enough; he couldn't let his stomach suffer too.

As he reached for the iron pot to clean it, something unexpected happened. Just as his hand was about to touch the pot, it began to tremble uncontrollably. At the same time, all the metal objects in the kitchen started vibrating, as if performing a metallic symphony.

Satoru stood frozen in the middle of it all, his mind exploding as if something had shattered inside. A swirling vortex of blue and purple appeared, and small text appeared beneath it.
