Unlike what he thought would happen. He was sent to a class as soon as he arrived back at Hogwarts. Both Amelia and Lily had to go into an emergency meeting with a bunch of other family heads. He did not hear much but what he did hear made it seem like they were planning on closing Hogwarts.
Harry on the other hand was stuck in a class with a bunch of other students. At the front of the class teaching about trauma and current events was Arthur Weasley. But after only a few minutes it started to get a bit… weird.
"Tell me… what are your thoughts on the current state of affairs?" Arthur asked innocently. But the question was a loaded one as far as Harry could tell. Not the kind of thing you want a bunch of first year students answering. Even Ron seemed a bit miffed.
"Mister Weasley-"
"Professor." Arthur interrupted Hermione who spoke up. But he was sending a glare her way that was making Harry feel angry.
"I am sorry? I was not aware you were a professor." Hermione responded.
"Yes, well, it is something that is happening as part of the emergency meeting that the others are having. No need for a muggle born such as yourself to worry too much about it." Weasley responded like it was normal but even Harry could tell that he was intentionally being rude to Hermione.
"Dad why-"
"Professor Weasley, call me that during class Ron." Arthur interrupted his son as well.
"Hmm… Professor Weasley, is there a reason you are being out right rude to Hermione? She has done nothing to deserve your disrespect." Ron pointed out with an annoyed growl. While Harry was quietly slipping his wand into his hand.
"No need to worry about it Ron. Witches are well known harlots and whores. I am only treating them as they are." Arthur responded. "Which is why I suggested you go find an obedient muggle for you to use."
"Dad-"
"Professor Weasley." Arthur interrupted his son again and then clapped his hands making all of the students flinch. "Now then, let's move onto the topic of what rights students like you have in and out of school. Students have permission to cast spells aside from forbidden ones on school grounds as long as it does not cause severe injury or loss of life. Off school grounds, students are not allowed to cast any complex spells, only simple ones."
Harry frowned and raised his hand. "You mean when a student is not receiving tutoring by a registered witch or wizard."
Professor Weasley smiled towards Harry but it was clearly fake and forced. He then looked toward Draco who raised his hand as well. "Yes, Mister Malfoy."
The class continued with Arthur Weasley mostly ignoring the witches and Harry. While teaching what Harry could only describe as his idea of what the world should be. He was teaching some very misogynist and anti-witch ideas.
After class, Arthur Weasley left and the students turned to each other and started talking. "That was weird right?" Ron asked openly.
"What? That your dad was a misogynist or his ideas on witches in general and how they should act?" Draco asked with a scoff. "I figured he was like that because he has been passed over so many times for witches. But he might have been passed over because of his ideas on witches."
Harry shook his head. "No, that was weird. But he was not just ignoring the witches." Harry pointed out as he grabbed his bag. He had not unpacked anything since the class was clearly not worth listening to or taking notes in.
"Yeah he ignored Harry as well." Hermione jumped in. She was definitely angry he could hear her growl every once in a while during class because Arthur kept ignoring the witches of the class. "I am surprised Ron. You never mentioned your father being an absolute knobhead."
Ron shrugged, "he hasn't been one. Although a few months before school started he started getting into a bunch of arguments with my mother. These new 'ideas' of his might be the reason."
"You know what I thought was strange? Those injuries that he was hiding during class." Luna pointed out with her high level of optimism.
It was good to point out now that the connection that he and his mother were feeling were to Luna and Hermione. Harry believes it is because they are both connected to him on a level beyond just sex. He knows Hermione is in love with him more than just for his massive cock. While Luna… he actually did not really know what her deal was. But she clearly felt enough for him to feel a connection. He should probably discuss it with her later.
"What injuries?" Draco asked in surprise.
"Every time he stood or sat he flinched and one time he brought a hand to his chest like he had several broken bones. I have seen it a few times before." Luna explained with cheerful optimism. "But then there was the smell of scorching as well. Like he was hit with an explosion or burning spell-"
"Right on his chest that probably could have burnt some of his clothes?" Harry finished for Luna drawing attention as he was wide eyed as what Luna's words insinuated.
"My father does not go around slinging spells." Ron scoffed and walked out of the room quickly.
Draco turned to the rest of the class. "Did anyone else notice anything off about Professor Weasley?"
Harry frowned and pulled out his wand, sending a quick message to his mother, Amelia, and Minerva. Requesting a meeting with them. This discovery could help. The fact that Arthur Weasley was possibly one of the white robes was important. They could use this information to find the others.
He looked at Luna and Hermione. "Hey, do you two have some time? I need to talk with both of you about something important." Harry asked them.
"Yeah, we are supposed to be on break. Although students are being called back because of the emergency I have plenty of spare time." Hermione reasoned and smiled. "Besides, I want to talk as well. I assume we want to talk about the same thing though."
"I doubt that, although I want to talk about that as well." Luna began reasoning. "I believe Harry wants to talk about something else entirely."
