Rio who was done eating and watching outside noticed a group of thugs heading across the street, which the seems to be approaching the restaurant he was.
Sensing trouble about to approach him and not ready for such thing.
He quickly stood up and shouted to get people's attention before speaking "Everyone please listen up, you must leave this place immediately!"
The people in the restaurant who seems to watch him started to demand the reason for them to leave and some of them even told him rather to leave.
Why should we leave?...
Who the hell are you to ask us out?...
Don't you see this is a restaurant?...
Are you going out of your mind...
I'm sure he must be mentally damaged...
Rio was utterly confused due to not having to know how to explain the reason why they had to leave and so, he just kept quiet as he borrowed down and apologies.
With such regrets of trying to help people, Rio just took his stuffs and was about to leave when a familiar voice said "I'll follow you, brother". It was very familiar to that of the voice he heard in the morning but he ignored the thought of asking as he replied "Okay".
The cream black her Nirra appeared to tag along Rio as she offered to help him carry one of his disposable bags and Rio who was not familiar with it was about to object when she grabbed it before he could say a word.
It was an awkward situation for the two. Rio who was a little bit embarrassed and confuse, brushed off the idea of taking back the disposable bag and asked they move ahead.
The moment the two worked out of the restaurant and walked into the busy street, a group of thugs entered into the restaurant and said "Everybody get down on your knees immediately and bring out your money or be killed. Anyone who dares to move will suffer the consequences of disobeying me!"
At first the people in the restaurant just ignored them but suddenly a thug shoot a person and the restaurant became noisy but was suddenly shut up.
With fear all written over their faces the group of people in the restaurant all fell to their knees and started to bring out their money and phones just as a guy stood up to face the gangs.
Immediately, a fight started with shooting head everywhere as screams of agony too and pain was heard.
The commotion draw several attention to the restaurant and immediately the police were called lives were lost in the restaurant.
Nirra was shocked to see such scenes and wondered who exactly was Rio, but she dare not ask as he stared at her trying to say something.
It was kind of awkward as Rio tried to process what he wanted to say and just as he couldn't bring it out, she gave up as she said "I'm Nirra and I hope we can be friends now, right" with a bright smile on her face as she looked into Rio's eyes.
It was tense and strange for him as he turned away before saying "I'm not interested and you should stay away from me".
Nirra who watch in confusion still was smiling and followed Rio saying "I'm interested in you and you save my life today, let be good friends or I can be your girlfriend" as the smile on her face kept on increasing.
Rio was utterly annoyed by how she kept talking to him even though he never replied nor pay attention to her.
It was like she didn't mind whether he replied or not as she kept talking about how they both will be of great benefit as in many cases, which he knows it wasn't going to happen even if the heavens said so.
Half an hour later, they both appeared next to the porch way and Rio was facing his door as she stood behind him. After a few turn of the key in the lock and opening it, he turned to her as she still has a glimmer of joy on her face and he said "May I have my bag now".
She quickly hand it over to him and stood there staring at him as he grabbed all his stuffs, as he was halfway inside and about to close the door he said "Thank you" leaving her to smile more.
Nirra who heard it was quick to reply saying "Sure! Are we friends now? We can hangout some other time, right" and hearing her response made him to shut the door closed as he locked it.
"I will be next door, you can pay a visit if you like or come around. I know we will meet tomorrow again, so have a nice rest" she said standing at the closed door for a while before entering into her room.
Rio who could not understand what kind of person she was and her agenda could only try to stay careful. Looking at the stuffs he bought and heading to wash them noticed a red jade necklace in on of the bag, which he wondered how it ended up in his things as he placed it on the table before washing the clothes.
After everything, he freshen up and wore his oversized pajamas that was about to swallow his body if not for his height.
Rio took a seat and took the necklace to scan it as he noticed it was for Nirra, which they were heading back to their apartment and she was trying to get his attention made her show him the necklace. As he now suspected she might have mistakenly drop it into his things without knowing and he planned on giving it back but his senses kicked in as he thought "Maybe she intentionally place it inside as she said we will meet tomorrow, so she must have done it on purpose to keep bothering me".
Looking at the necklace, he gave a sigh of relief as he placed it down and turned to his books to read.
After which, he took his laptop to play game before heading to bed.
The sleep was as peaceful and sound making himself feel good.
