A massive throne floated in shadow, surrounded by crumbling moons and burning stars. The Mad Titan, Thanos, sat in silence, one hand resting on the arm of his throne, the other gripping his double-bladed sword.
Before him knelt one of his trusted lieutenants—Corvus Glaive.
"He appeared on Earth," Glaive said. "He crushed S.H.I.E.L.D., humiliated Strange, and altered the Mirror Dimension."
Thanos opened one eye.
"A mortal?"
"No. Something else. He has access to… forbidden powers. Time. Chakra. Space."
Thanos stood, towering and silent.

Ron stood on top of a temple ruin, shirtless, sparring with fifty Shadow Clones. Rasengans clashed with Haki-infused punches, Observation Haki dodges flowed with Sage reflexes.
He was testing his limits—and failing to find any.
