"... as you venture into the world..." The principal's speech continued. I have already drowned it out the moment it started. But, I am happy right now. I finally made it. I did get into an in-Seoul university. Not the best one but still I am still happy. It finally feels like my life is back together again...
What is that photographer doing?
The photographer has been all over the graduation, taking pictures of everything. The students, the stage with the teacher, the sky, under the principal's wig, and even at you.
The photographer came to my row and started to take pictures. Wait... they are not taking pictures of the row... they are taking pictures of me.
I looked at the photographer's face. It was my brother.
He looked at me and gave me a toothy smile and a thumbs up. He left to go take pictures somewhere else.
"Who was that man!" One student whispered.
"Man, I wish I could be like that!" Another student murmured.
I looked at the stage and even the teachers and guest speakers were looking at my brother with various levels of admirations.
At this point. I let it go. No matter how many times or what I even try to do, he will always surprise me with his antics. Besides, my brother will always be my brother.
...
The graduation ended and the parents and students were taking pictures in front of the school.
My family gathered for our picture. My dad, who was busy setting up a business. My mom, who was cooking up recipes. They showed up. We were all smiling. My brother took out his camera and pointed at us.
Then he looked at me and smiled.
"I am so proud of you, Minji." My brother said.
