My next journey starts in a small tavern, where I sit alone. I'm a small dragon-born with shiny white scales and cherry blossom pink eyes. My tail sways slowly behind me as I enjoy a cold one (Beer). An elven girl approaches me with a serious expression.
she speaks in a hushed tone, "Are you Yugure?"
"And who might be asking?" I turn to the elf calmly. "Perhaps you need assistance?"
"I do. I'm Mia, of the dark elves." Her dark skin and white hair proved her words, "I need you to help me, my sister was taken."
"And will there be a reward?" I look skeptical to accept the job.
"Y-yes, you will get a hefty reward. And I'll even give you half right now, 250 gold coins." Mia speaks with a more pleading voice now. "Please, my sister could be in danger."
My eyes widen slightly from the sheer amount of coins Mia is willing to give up to save her sister. I sigh. "You can hold onto the money for now. I will need some help though. Let us discuss the details more." and we do, Mia explains to me exactly how dangerous the job is and where her sister is. After a couple of hours talking I get all the information I need. I then leave the tavern to rest at a nearby inn. As soon as I hit the comfortable bedding I fall asleep.
The next morning, I go to the adventurers guild. I find many people of all sorts of races there: elves, humans, orcs, and even dwarves. I sit down at a random table with strong looking individuals. I calmly look around the table as the Aarakocran sitting there glares with annoyance.
"What is it that you want, dragon?" His tone was rude, I replied calmly. "I have a job. I was wondering if any of you four wanted to join me. It's a three man job at least." The Aarakocra looks intrigued now, no longer annoyed. The human looks up from his drink also seeming intrigued.
I continue, "There's a large bandit group kidnapping young girls. I'm not sure why but I can assume they're selling them or worse." I lower my gaze a bit.
The other human stands up and leaves to sit at a different table, "sorry but I'm on break, good luck to you though."
I watch him leave with a sigh, "Well, what about the rest of you?"
"I'll go with you, with the right rewards that is." The Aarakocra places his beer on the table, "I've been looking for something interesting to do."
I smile, "and you? Cleric and dwarf." The dwarf sighs while the human nods.
"We shall go too." the human says. I bow my head slightly, "Thank you. you all will be rewarded."
"I'm Zek the necromancer, and this is Clark the cleric." The dwarf introduces his friend and himself. "I'm rader the barbarian." The Aarakocran introduces himself, "It's nice to meet you two."
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." I say with a smile.
