Chapter 1 - New Start

[Welcome, Soul, to the Reincarnation Channel.]

[Here, your start for your next journey will be decided.]

[The number and types of abilities will be chosen at random.]

[Initialising the Roulette]

[Number of Spins: 2]

[First spin, Spinning...]

[Reward: Senrigan]

[Second Spin, Spinning...]

[Reward: Phantom Summoner]

[Senrigan: "The world is wide, but no veil is thick enough."]

[Description:

A lone eye, unblinking.

It sees across valleys, through stone, into sealed realms.

Past moments unravel at the whisper of chakra, silent as memory, clear as regret.

But beware: what is seen cannot be unseen.

And knowing too much... invites the void to gaze back.]

[Phantom Summoner: "From silence, a voice. From memory, a test."]

Description:

Once each moon, a whisper answers.

A phantom of no choosing rises from the mind's abyss.

 Dead, aware, unpredictable.

They cannot touch the world, but they may touch the soul.

Some will lie. Some will teach. All will leave.

The question is: what will they take with them?

[Core Rules:

Only one phantom may exist at a time.

A summon chance is granted every month.

Unused chances stack indefinitely.

A summoned phantom must remain for at least one full month.

After that, it may choose to stay, consuming one summon chance per extra month or leave.

The user may dismiss a phantom early, forfeiting the current month's summon chance, and immediately summoning another.

Summons cannot harm the user.

Summons cannot be controlled, only persuaded, deceived, pressured, or broken.

All summoned phantoms exist only within the Mental Plane. They cannot interact with the physical world.]

[Note:

"The roulette spins for all, not just kings, not just killers.

You may seek a god...

But receive a baker with nothing left but grief."]

[Your World: A world similar to the Naruto Manga you have read before. Beware, the world is similar, not the same.]

[Some things may be different.]

[Some people may be different.]

[Some events may be different.]

[Knowledge is usable but with limitations. Work with wisdom, and your life will get better.]

[Good luck in your life, and live a life without regrets.]

Konohagkure no Sato.

Lying below in the shade of a mango tree, Amane looked at the leaves falling from the tree and sighed.

'Reincarnation, huh! Even though I did die early, I wasn't expecting a situation like this to happen.'

On Earth, Amane was just a random passerby in the world, like most people. His life wasn't good or bad, just plain normal. Just like other people of his age, he loved reading novels, watching anime, and had seen the Naruto anime and read the manga. Even though there were some things he had forgotten about, Amane more or less knew the gist and base of Naruto.

'In this world where four-year-old children start to train, I am a ten-year-old regular boy, currently studying in Konoha Academy. Ignoring the geniuses like Minato and Itachi, I am pretty sure that I am not even at Kiba's level, who has secret training from his clan.'

Amane knew how he died. It was a car accident, and he could also remember what happened before he gained the memories in this life at the age of ten.

'Reincarnation Channel, huh! So something like that was possible, or was it based on what I perceive?'

Amane wondered if it was the same for everyone. He was curious since he could remember the whole process clearly, as if it had been imprinted in his mind.

'Two chances and I got two abilities that can make me the best information dealer in this world. The second is more luck-based, but based on chances, it can be quite beneficial.'

'Senrigan is the one from Boruto, the bullshit ability from Shibai and as for Phantom Summoner, I have read about an ability similar to this, but not the same.'

(Any guesses?)

'With Senrigan, I can know about quite a few things, what is happening in the world, what has happened and even clear out doubts I had. After all, in this world, 'plotholes' can not exist.'

"Still, 10 years, 120 chances," Amane murmured with a grin appearing on his face. The moment his memories awakened, the knowledge came with them. 120 chances, one for every month since birth. All stacked. All his."

'The description is quite poetic, and from what I can understand, I can summon anyone. From a baker, or random civilian, to someone like Hashirama, Tobirama and all. Well, Madara is alive, and the same for Kaguya. As for Hagoromo, he should be considered alive.'

Thinking of the two powers, Amane didn't know if he should consider himself lucky or unlucky. If someone got to know about his powers, he is fucked, literally.

After all, even though knowledge is power, in front of overwhelming strength, everything is futile, and for a normal academy student like him, even Genins with some experience are a relatively overwhelming power to him.

'After returning home, I will check something I have in my mind. For now, it would be better for me to return to class since lunch break is over.'

Getting up from the ground, Amane stretched his hand and looked in the direction of the Academy building. It looked older than the one in his memories, but the building in sight affirmed his thoughts that his new life had started, and it was going to be very different from the leisurely and peaceful life he had lived in his past life.

Reaching the class, Amane walked to his seat with his pocket full of leaves. Sitting at the back of the class, Amane looked at the children moving here and there, laughing and giggling with each other, and he knew that almost half of them were going to fail the final examination, and from the ones who passed, half of them were going to die.

'I have heard that Genins are the ones who die most due to their inexperience and also the fact that not every Genin gets a Jonin assigned to them.'

'If possible, I want to drop out of the Academy, but then if I get caught using or training in techniques as an academy dropout, I don't know what will happen to me.'

'Even though I have memories of the past years, all I know is Hiruzen is the Third Hokage and the fact that the Second Shinobi War hasn't happened. Except for this, I don't have any information that would help me.'

'Well, it doesn't matter. After checking those two things, I will be able to understand at what point in the timeline I am in. After all, even with anime and manga's knowledge, the timeline before the episodes is kinda mixed and vague.'

"Class, silence."

Amane turned his eyes to the teacher who entered the class and noticed most of the students getting silent at his words.

'Some troublemakers exist in every class, but all the children in this class come from a civilian background.'

The teacher started to talk about the Transformation Technique, and Amane paid attention to his words.

"Alright, class," the Teacher said, slapping a small wooden pointer against the blackboard, "Today we're revisiting the Transformation Technique (Henge no Jutsu). You've all heard of it, but knowing the name isn't enough. You'll need this in the field… if you survive long enough to get there."

A few kids chuckled nervously, but the teacher ignored them.

As for Amane, he didn't. He sat upright, eyes half-lidded, more focused than he let on.

The teacher continued, sketching a rough diagram of a chakra-coated stick figure on the board.

"The basic principle is simple: mould your chakra into a thin shell around your body. Then, visualise the form you want. Human, animal, object. You'll need to focus your mind and stretch your chakra layer into the exact shape and texture."

He tapped the chalk against the figure's outline.

"But here's what no textbook will tell you: it's not just copying. It's acting. Walk like them. Move like them. If you transform into an old man but sprint like a monkey, you're not fooling anyone."

One of the students muttered about being able to fool anyone easily using the Transformation technique, and the teacher sighed at his words.

"Yes, yes, we've all heard about that nonsense. Try pulling that off in front of an enemy jonin and see how long your head stays attached."

He walked between the rows now, sharp eyes scanning.

"Anyone here think it's just a visual trick?"

Silence. No one in the class said anything since they could feel that the teacher was about to say something serious.

"It's not. You see with your eyes, and your chakra shapes the way others see and hear you. It can even fool sensors, only if you are good at it. But you're not."

Someone in the class coughed at the teacher's jab.

"One hit, one stumble in chakra control, and the illusion shatters. A good shinobi sees through bad Henge in seconds. That's why we drill this now."

He turned to the class and pointed.

"Pair up and try performing the technique. Basics are already known to you all, and now you need to put the theory into practice."

This one is gonna be very different from the original you all have read. In that one, I took the easy route but for this, it won't be easy but not very hard (depends).

Comment about the powers I have chosen and your opinion on them. I do plan on continuing this but for this one, chapters won't be regular like for MTNW one. Also, something clicked in my mind while I was writing the MTNW's chapter and will discuss it later as it will be applied quite late.
