Chapter 25 - WORLD ONE; THE OVERSEER

Chapter twenty five

"Have you heard about the Manchester's satellite?"he asked with a cunning smile.

Alexander smiled then sighed.

"Oh, it seems that you have"

"So? That's something that I have heard. If there's nothing new for you to tell me just leave" Alexander said coldly

"Why are you so eager to chase me out. I came to check up on my Rylene" he said provoking Alexander.

"Since when did she became yours?" The atmosphere became several degrees colder.

"Since the day I saved her" he said, her voice equally cold.

Ice began forming around the room furniture.

Alexander sighed and backed out.

"She is better actually " Alexander said then smiled

"How so?" He asked.

...

Rylene woke up later.

Her make up was wiped so she felt at least better. She took a bath then got dressed.

She left and went to look for the twins to keep herself busy.

On her way, she found head maid Judy and so she asked the whereabouts of the twins.

The twins were in her gaming room. She immediately headed there.

The walls were a sleek matte black, softly illuminated by strips of LED lighting that pulsed gently in shifting hues of neon blue and violet. The air hummed faintly with the sound of cooling fans and surround-sound speakers.

At the center of the room sat five high-end gaming chairs, sculpted for comfort and style — black leather with glowing RGB accents that matched the rhythm of the lights on the wall. In two of those chairs sat Tatiana and Tryan, the inseparable twins, each lost in their own zone yet perfectly in sync.

Before them stretched a massive curved 8K display, split between two screens. The visuals danced across the monitors — a world of motion, explosions, and light — reflected in their eyes as they played. Tatiana's fingers moved quickly, her painted nails clicking across a mechanical keyboard that lit up with every press. Tryan, leaning slightly forward, had a focused grin — his controller firm in his hands, the cool glow of the screen highlighting his sharp features.

Behind them, a wall of high-tech gaming equipment gleamed — VR headsets, noise-canceling headphones, and shelves lined with limited-edition consoles. A small AI assistant screen flickered beside the setup, tracking their scores and projecting live game stats into the air in sleek holographic form.

A mini-fridge hummed quietly in the corner, stocked with cold drinks and energy boosters, while the ceiling-mounted speakers played soft electronic beats that merged with the sound effects from their game.

Tatiana let out a victorious laugh as her character landed a flawless combo.

"Admit it, Try," she teased, eyes gleaming. "You're losing your edge."

Tryan smirked without looking away from the screen. "Please. I'm just letting you think that."

The twins' playful banter filled the high-tech room — laughter mixed with the click of controllers and the hum of machines. Around them, the lights shifted again, glowing brighter with the pulse of the game

"Not fair, you started the game without me"

Rylene pouted. Tryan became distracted by her pout make her loose her focus on the game.

Tatiana squeled with happiness when she won.

"Thank you Rylene for the distraction" Tatiana said happily

"Hey Rylene, how was your sleep?"

"Better...I see you guys having fun without me,"

She pretended to pout

"Oh c'mon, don't be sad. What do you want to do Rylene, we will get you anything,"

Tryan said and Rylene smiled

"I have a suggestion! Let's take her shopping at our mall!" Tatiana squeled.

"Sure, let's go,"

The trio left toward their mall.

A luxurious skyscraper mall towers above the city with gleaming glass facades and opulent interiors. Inside, it features multi-level designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants with skyline views, cascading indoor waterfalls, and high-speed elevators whisking visitors to rooftop lounges and panoramic observation decks. Every detail exudes elegance, from marble floors to ambient lighting and curated art installations.

"Welcome to Alfaizar mall! We built it here! Isn't it beautiful?!" Tatiana asked

"Rylene...if we go back home and you need anything, just come here and take for free," Tryan said

Tatiana took out her phone and went live.

We all entered the mall excitedly.

On the way we bumped into the star twins.
