Under the immense force, Tang Wulin's body was torn to shreds, transforming into light and disappearing from the Soul Ascension Platform.
Everyone on the Shengling Platform existed only as spiritual projections. Death here was not true death—but the sensation of tearing Tang Wulin apart brought Shi Yu a deep sense of satisfaction.

Gu Yue formed an elemental encirclement and pushed all her strength into summoning spatial energy to trap him.
"Ah!" Xie Xie screamed as he was torn apart by the Eight Spider Lance, vanishing from the platform.
Even under siege, Shi Yu remained composed. His masterful control over space only boosted his confidence.
These attacks were lightning-fast. Most teleportation-type soul masters would've struggled to respond.
But Shi Yu didn't even need to activate a soul skill. He simply stepped—and disappeared.
Boom boom boom... The barrage of attacks collided—missing him entirely.
"Be careful," Gu Yue warned as she and Xu Xiaoyan stood back to back, focusing in all directions.
"Replace," Shi Yu's voice echoed from afar.
Both girls tensed, alert to the sound's direction.
"Not good," Gu Yue realized too late. She vanished—replaced by Shi Yu.
"Ah!" Xu Xiaoyan gasped, her face filled with panic upon seeing the figure behind her.
Shi Yu showed no mercy. Xu Xiaoyan hadn't wronged him, but in order to safely absorb the soul bone, he had to eliminate her.
He didn't flee with the soul bone because he feared they'd eventually catch him. The Soul Ascension Platform wasn't infinite. Given enough time, they could find him—and no one knew how long the absorption would take.
It was safer to remove all threats.
"Ah!" Xu Xiaoyan screamed before she was killed, her body dissolving into light.
Gu Yue arrived moments later—too late. Xu Xiaoyan was already gone.
Shi Yu turned to face Gu Yue, his expression emotionless.
Her next attack was fiercer than when she faced the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear. With this strength, she could've defeated it alone. Among peers, she had few rivals.
Even if Tang Wulin joined her, they might still lose.
It was a pity Gu Yue usually stayed low-key—perhaps to avoid stealing Tang Wulin's spotlight.
"Who are you? Why do you wield such powerful space techniques?" she asked while attacking.
She wanted to uncover Shi Yu's identity—for payback in the real world. Killing him here meant nothing. Killing him out there—that was true revenge.
"Tell me your name and background, and I'll tell you mine. How about it?" Shi Yu replied calmly.
"I'm a student at Donghai Academy. Name's Gu Yue. If you're coming after me in the real world—go ahead. I'll be waiting," she said coldly.
