Chapter 27 - The Storm Returns

He moved through the rain like it feared him.

The sky cracked — not from thunder, but from presence.

And when he stepped onto the plateau of Kumogakure's outer mountain range, time itself seemed to still.

The Chain Ghost had returned.

Naruto stood alone, cloak dark and unmarked, no symbols. No headband. No allies. No chakra flares.

Just silence — and the seal on his wrist humming faintly.

Kurama said nothing.

He knew what this was.

Retribution.

Killer Bee wasn't hiding.

He had known the day would come.

The moment Naruto had vanished after their first encounter, Bee could feel it — not through chakra, but instinct.

The world had shifted.

And now it stood here before him, with red hair, dead eyes, and a power signature so quiet it made even Gyūki shudder.

Bee sheathed his blade.

"I ain't scared," he said calmly, "but I know what this is."

Naruto didn't speak.

"I didn't kill you," Bee said. "And I don't regret not doing it."

Still no reply.

Bee inhaled. His voice softened.

"You don't have to do this, man."

The wind answered for Naruto — a low howl across the mountain that cut through the mist like a whisper of steel.

Naruto raised one hand.

And the fight began.

Bee moved first.

Instantly in full transformation — seven blades spinning, Gyūki's chakra laced through his veins, his movements precise, refined from years of being the only Jinchūriki to master perfect sync.

Naruto didn't dodge.

He floated.

One step off the ground, chakra underfoot — not like the Tailed Beast flight, not like Pain's levitation.

This was different.

Weightless.

Directional.

He shifted around Bee's blade in a spiral, letting the energy pass through his after-image, then struck back — not with Rasengan.

With silence.

Yoru Keiyaku. The seal triggered on contact.

Bee's muscles locked — only for a split second — but it was enough.

Naruto's fist collided with his side, enhanced with compressed earth-lightning chakra, detonating like a silent quake beneath Bee's ribs.

Bee grunted, twisted, and kicked back — landing three slashes along Naruto's left shoulder.

Blood spilled.

Naruto didn't react.

His skin began to knit immediately.

Kurama's chakra didn't surge.

This was his own regeneration — refined, clean, controlled.

Bee's eyes widened.

"That ain't normal..."

Naruto moved again.

Higan no Tate activated.

A barrier of mirrored flame surrounded Naruto, reversing the angle of Bee's attack and reflecting his own chakra pulse back into his arm.

It numbed him.

Just slightly.

Enough for Naruto to extend his arm, forming twin blades of lightning-infused wind chakra — silent, invisible at the edge.

He stabbed.

Bee blocked — barely — chakra flaring, Gyūki roaring inside him.

"You've changed."

Naruto finally spoke.

"I became real."

The mountain cracked.

They moved faster than any ANBU could follow — Bee swinging with mastery, Naruto adapting, recalculating, adjusting with data from Jougan Tenkai, his predictive seal eye replaying Bee's motions in real time.

He was reading him.

Studying him.

Countering him.

Every motion was closer.

Every block, sharper.

Every strike, quieter.

Bee began to falter.

Even with Gyūki.

Even with skill.

Because Naruto wasn't just fighting.

He was evolving.

Minutes in, Bee activated Tailed Beast Bomb.

A full-powered core of Gyūki's chakra spiraled into his palm.

Naruto didn't stop it.

He let it fire.

But as it approached, Naruto activated Tsumi Sajin.

Sin Dust.

A chakra field like mist — filled with chakra-nullifying particles invisible to the eye.

The bomb fizzled.

Didn't explode.

Just collapsed.

Bee gasped.

"What the hell is this?"

Naruto responded:

"The world you fought for."

He surged forward.

Two clones behind him.

One chained Bee's feet mid-air.

One detonated — Kuro-Fuuka, a clone of flame and vacuum.

Bee's cloak flared, but the force pulled his left arm out of sync.

Naruto closed the distance.

Flight chakra erupted.

He moved vertically, spinning — and brought down a hand seal directly onto Bee's chest.

Seal of Containment: Tailed Binding Ring.

Bee screamed.

Gyūki screamed louder.

The Eight-Tails thrashed — trying to unbind, chakra roaring — but the seal was drawn in Uzumaki blood, powered by Naruto's Sage Mode and laced with Kurama's resistance pattern.

It held.

Naruto didn't gloat.

Didn't insult.

He simply raised his hand.

And with one command — began the extraction.

Bee's eyes blurred.

"You don't have to—"

Naruto's voice was soft.

"But I will."

The mountain howled.

Energy cracked stone.

Lightning struck from cloudless sky.

And in ten minutes, Killer Bee stopped moving.

His chakra flickered.

Then vanished.

Gyūki's final roar echoed into silence.

And then—

Naruto held the Eight-Tails.

Kurama stirred.

"That's eight."

Naruto exhaled once.

Then vanished.
