Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Comparable to the Second Hokage’s Water Release Talent? A New Sealing Technique: Yin Seal?

Hiashi Hyuga looked at his daughter, who had just apologized to her uncle Hizashi, and his stern expression softened. He spoke with concern:

"Hinata, you've been missing for a day. You probably haven't eaten yet. We've kept food prepared for you; it's still warm in the kitchen. Do you want someone to bring it to your room?"

Hinata nodded, then shook her head. "Father, I am hungry, but it's not enough to prepare food just for me. Please make the same amount for Romon as well."

She paused, her expression serious. "And it must be of equal quality."

Hiashi glanced at Romon standing beside Hinata, grinning with his unruly blond hair, and anger flared up in his heart. However, recalling the three conditions he had promised Hinata earlier, he gritted his teeth.

"Fine. I'll have someone prepare it and deliver it to your room."

"Great. Then we'll go ahead," Hinata replied as she took Romon's hand and turned to leave. Suddenly, she paused, looked back, and added:

"Oh, and make sure Hinata Fuyu gets proper rest. After all, even she couldn't defeat me."

"..."

Hiashi nodded silently, watching his daughter skip away with Romon. His eyelid twitched involuntarily.

Still, he quickly regained his composure and addressed those nearby. "Until my daughter comes of age, under no circumstances should anyone reveal her true strength that she can already defeat a jonin."

"Agreed."

Hizashi was the first to nod. He had no desire for news to spread that he had been defeated by his own underage niece. If the rumor reached the rest of Konoha, his reputation would be ruined.

The other elders of the Hyuga Clan's main branch nodded in unison. In their eyes, Hinata was the clan's future the new Heavenly Shinobi of this era.

Perhaps, just perhaps, she might one day grow strong enough to rival legends like Hashirama Senju or Madara Uchiha.

But that was still a hope for the future. For now, she could only defeat jonin, not reach the level of a Kage.

That meant she could still be vulnerable to assassination, so secrecy was paramount.

The Hyuga elders reached a consensus and issued a command:

No Hyuga clan member may disclose Hinata's true combat strength to outsiders.

Later, Hiashi, Hizashi, and the clan elders gathered for a private meeting. The topic was straightforward:

They wanted detailed intel on Hinata, the clan's prodigy.

When had she mastered the Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms?

What about Rotation (Kaiten)?

And even Water Release: Wild Water Wave?

Plus, wasn't Rasengan supposed to be a jutsu exclusive to the Fourth Hokage?

Faced with the questioning stares of the elders and his younger brother, Hiashi revealed everything he knew. What he said left everyone stunned:

Hinata had taught herself everything. She learned chakra control techniques like tree-walking and water-walking at the age of three.

Most astonishing of all, she recreated the Rasengan at age four not from the Scroll of Seals, but entirely on her own.

As for her mastery of advanced Gentle Fist techniques, or even Water Release, Hiashi admitted that he had no knowledge of how she accomplished those.

The room fell silent, then murmurs of amazement rippled through the air:

"A genius... a true genius!"

"Hinata is the future Hyuga's Heavenly Shinobi reborn!"

"Once she comes of age, she might not only lead the Hyuga Clan's resurgence she could become the next Hokage!"

Then Hizashi remembered something.

"During the fight, I used my Byakugan to observe her chakra flow. At first, her chakra reserves were typical of a chunin. But suddenly, it surged to the level of a jonin! There's no way she could have used so many jutsu otherwise."

One of the elders nodded. "I noticed the same thing her chakra output spiked dramatically."

Hiashi agreed. "I saw it too, using my Byakugan."

This observation sparked a theory among the elders:

Could it be that Hinata, at her young age, had developed a new technique a way to store chakra for sudden release during combat?

It seemed possible. Very possible.

After all, this was Hinata the prodigy who recreated the Rasengan. It wasn't unthinkable for her to invent a technique to store chakra.

Then Hiashi added a chilling thought:

"But the effect is remarkably similar to Lady Tsunade's Yin Seal."

Everyone paused, considering the implications. Hinata's sudden chakra burst during her fight truly did resemble the activation of the Yin Seal.

Hizashi spoke again. "One more thing I noticed that during that pivotal moment, Hinata released two jutsu simultaneously:

Reverse Eight Trigrams: Rotation

And the Rasengan

She executed them without delay or hesitation. She can split her focus between two complex jutsu in combat. She is unquestionably a battle prodigy."

The room fell into reverent silence.

Yes, if Hinata could continue to grow, she might very well lead the Hyuga Clan into a new golden age.

The elders turned to Hiashi, earnestly advising him to treat Hinata better from now on and meet her requests whenever possible. She was simply too valuable to neglect.

Hiashi paused, remembering one of her more recent requests:

To sleep in the same room as Romon.

...Was he supposed to grant that too?

Absolutely not!

No matter how special Romon might seem, he was still a civilian with no chakra. He was not worthy of his daughter!

Meanwhile, Hinata and Romon had returned to her soft, pastel-colored bedroom, still carrying the scent of soothing incense.

While waiting for their food to arrive, they communicated through eye contact sharing thoughts mind-to-mind.

Hinata: "Turns out, fists are the most convincing argument. Once I put those stuck-up elders in their place, Father finally agreed to let you stay in the clan and even raised your status to match mine.

"Of course, that's all thanks to you. If you hadn't transferred your chakra to me during the fight chakra at a level comparable to Kakashi and merged your consciousness with mine so we could fight together...

"I never would've been able to defeat Hizashi, a veteran jonin."

Romon: "That was nothing."

He waved his hand casually, then added:

"But since you and I were gone for a whole day, I'm sure the Hyuga Clan's search efforts stirred up quite a storm in Konoha. By now, rumors are probably flying that we eloped."

Hinata: "Let them talk. Besides, from a certain point of view, they're not wrong. We did spend the day together in the Chaos Shrine, hugging and everything. That pretty much counts as an elopement, right?

"Anyway, the longer we stay close, the faster our powers will grow leapfrogging forward with insane speed. Through repeated chakra harmonization, we'll awaken the Tenseigan.

"Eventually, we'll enter Tenseigan Chakra Mode. And when that happens, anyone in Konoha who dares gossip… well, I'll make them regret it."

Romon: "Can't argue with that."

They both chuckled at the thought.

Just then, a voice came from outside the room:

"Lady Hinata, Lord Romon lunch is ready!"
