-----------------------

As Noah observed Arlecchino, she was observing him as well.

That single glance caused ripples in Arlecchino's normally calm, almost deadpan inner world.

Normally, given Arlecchino's personality, if anyone—male or female—accidentally collided with her soft spots, she would make them understand the consequences immediately.

But she didn't punish Noah. She did nothing. Why? Simply because his appearance was astonishing!

That silver hair, combined with his resolute expression, was exactly to her taste.

He held direct eye contact with her, with a challenging look

Moreover, Noah seemed to emit a subtle, almost imperceptible scent—one that intrigued Arlecchino but defied description.

Then, a sudden gulp broke the silence, adding a layer of awkwardness to an already tense scene.

Just as Arlecchino prepared to speak… the enraged Tsaritsa arrived at the front hall.

Feeling the bone-chilling presence behind him, Noah shuddered involuntarily.

There was no need to think—he knew immediately who was behind him.

His heart sank. His escape plan was effectively ruined.

Arlecchino's next words extinguished the last bit of hope Noah had left.

"Your Majesty," Arlecchino said calmly.

Whether it was Arlecchino's imagination or not, she truly felt that the Queen's aura had grown stronger today.

The already majestic face now seemed even more solemn, demanding respect.

Her deep eyes seemed to contain infinite power and wisdom, capable of seeing through everything with just a glance.

No! More accurately, the Queen hadn't suddenly become powerful today.

Arlecchino had sensed that, over time, the Queen had been steadily growing stronger.

Every day, the aura she emanated was slightly more powerful than the day before, seemingly without end, coupled with her rosy and happy expression she is having lately she felt slightly envious

The change was subtle, yet it could not escape Arlecchino's keen perception.

Tsaritsa nodded slightly, then said with satisfaction, "Arlecchino, you did well… You blocked his escape for me."

"I will reward you later. As for your other business here, it will have to wait—currently, I have other matters to attend to."

Arlecchino hesitated as she looked at Noah on the ground, her eyes reflecting indecision.

That brief hesitation, however, was instantly noticed by the sharp-eyed Noah…

Seizing the rare opportunity, he sprang into action.

He quickly stood, leaned close to Arlecchino's ear, and whispered in a voice only they could hear:

"Please… save me. I really don't want to go back there…"

He spoke rapidly, like a sudden gust of wind, and before the words could even settle, he immediately adopted an angry pose, shouting:

"Why are you doing this?! Why are you blocking my escape? Why do you have to send me back to that damned place?!"

Tsaritsa had already firmly grasped Noah's arm. With a casual tug, she effortlessly dragged him along.

As Noah was pulled, the light in his eyes gradually faded, replaced by a resigned expression.

(His acting here could win an Oscar 😏)

It was this flawless performance that made Tsaritsa completely unaware of what he might have whispered to Arlecchino earlier.

She didn't show the slightest mercy and once again dragged Noah toward the room.

Upon entering, Tsaritsa threw Noah back onto the bed without hesitation.

She felt infinite anger flooding her mind. Her lover, her fire, was leaving their Divine abode.

She wanted to keep him in their private cold room burning only to her sake, she is ready to be and do anything to make sure he understands who owns him

This time, Tsaritsa allowed Noah no moment of respite.

In the past, she had at least given him brief moments to rest, but this time was completely different—utterly merciless.

She repeatedly induced unconsciousness in Noah, and each time he lost consciousness.

She injected a trace of icy, bone-chilling elemental power into his body, forcefully waking him up.

This process was repeated seven times, tormenting Noah relentlessly, continuing until 5 a.m. the next day.

Just when Noah thought he could finally rest, Tsaritsa picked him up again.

"What… what do you want?" Noah whispered, his voice barely audible from exhaustion.

Tsaritsa remained silent, carrying him further into the depths of the palace.

The deeper they went, the darker and more oppressive the surroundings became, as if an endless shadow hung over them.

At the same time, he could feel her hold on him tighten more and more.

This atmosphere intensified Noah's unease and fear, filling him with a sense of impending doom.

Noah tried every ounce of strength to break free, but he was utterly exhausted, barely able to perform even the simplest movements of resistance.

Even if his strength had been fully restored, escaping Tsaritsa's grasp would have been impossible—the power gap was simply too vast.

Noah could only watch helplessly as he was dragged step by step into the seemingly endless abyss of darkness, his mind clouded with confusion.

As he feared, Tsaritsa slowly opened a large door leading to the basement.

The darkness inside was pitch black, like a bottomless pit, radiating a suffocating aura.

The shadows were so dense that it was almost impossible to discern whether stairs existed, let alone how many.

"No… no! I don't want to go in!" Noah's body trembled uncontrollably at the sight of the basement.

A surge of energy welled up within him as he desperately struggled, trying to free himself from Tsaritsa's grasp.

Yet his resistance was utterly futile. Compared to the cryo archon, Noah was like an egg striking a stone.

Tsaritsa's icy gaze bore into Noah, a faint, mocking smile curling the corners of her lips.
